So glad that you guys are back reviewing the series!!! Fun fact: Dr. Sullivan (the therapist), was the therapist for the girls in the original series, same actress and everything. She was a reoccurring character in the original series, but the character ended up leaving Rosewood in season 3 after ‘A’ threatened her son and she didn’t return until season 6, but only for one episode. So, Dr. Sullivan, is now the first character from the original series to show up in this spin-off and play a significant role in the lives of our new liars. This makes her even more suspicious in my eyes because she’s again found herself being the therapist to a group of girls, terrorized by someone with the moniker ‘A.’ Coincidence or Conspiracy?
Well she is a trauma therapist. In the OG show I believe Mrs. Hastings had said that she was a trauma therapist. Also Mona threatened her son in season 2 which made her disappear til the finale of season 2. Then she popped up a few times in season 3. Then yeah we didn’t see her again until Mona had her break down in season 7 when the liars finished the board game.
Great to see you guys again! I though I wouldn't see you guys after Riverdale ended. Now for my analysis. I think it's kind of a cop out that Archie was arrested in the first act. They should've made it an entire episode for his capture with the girls doing some detective work and finally figuring it out. Nice to see the gang doing self defense, they need it. Might actually stand a chance now that they're new nemesis is a middle aged homeless woman.
I love the new season so far. I liked the first one as well. Just watched it again, and I think I liked it even better the second time around. But I feel they have done a better job with season two. Also wayyyy more horror. Wich is what I expect when they promote it as a horror show. This coming from a major chicken like me. Like so many murders within like the first 10 minutes of episode 1. The characters feel more well written as well. Maby giving them so much trauma in season one kinda made it easier to give them more depth for season two. Not to mention the topics they bring up this season especially with Imogen and mental health/treatment using medicine. Something I think a lot of people do struggle with.

7:33 Archie didn’t escape prison he was in the hospital with a police officer at his side. He killed the officer & Mr. Beasley & left the hospital
that's right, but he still escaped police custody at the hospital. They are so bad at their job. They have ONE JOB! lol

Agree. This season is feeling incredibly solid. Not a sophomore slump in sight!
