I have the Sim Lab adjustable mounts and while they’re great they are tricky to get the tool into a couple of the set screws to adjust them but it is possible and to your point I highly recommend getting some form of an adjustable VESA mount. Will save you many headaches.
i never thought these would be needed figured it was more of a convenience thing, but after countless hours trying lign up triples i will be getting a set
Same. I have the Trakracer triple monitor setup wall mounted, so it's very cumbersome to take the screens on and off. I've got them aligned 90%, but to get 100% would take hours. So glad I got these.
Yeh man adjusting triples is a pain in the azz. I can see these mounts giving me back hours better spent on racing, thanks for the no nonsense review bro
My rig came with a monitor stand with just flat plates for vesa. I used a combination of corner brackets to dial my screens in. Works pretty good but I’d still prefer something like this.
This is my first time setting up triples and my days it is a pain. I have these mounts but I’m still trying to figure it out with what angle, how far my monitor should sit. Hopefully I’ll get this sorted soon.
Treq has one which looks quite good as well. Also it's worth considering the shipping costs for this as well. Here the sim-lab is quite unattractive once added the shipping costs, unless you get more things.
Absolutely - I think this is the case with most rig stuff - it’s very very similar between manufacturers anyways so just buy what is the easiest to source
Regarding your question about the two thumb screws in the back at 5:07: I assume it's more stable like that. Otherwise there's probably too much room to wiggle for example if you move your monitor mount.
Honestly these seem great for the huge ultrawides too. It's a pain and also scary to adjust my 49 after any mods to my sim rig with an integrated mount. This would make it much easier for height and angle adjustments.
Oh man die sind ja mal richtig cool die hätte ich auch gebrauchen können als ich angefangen haben mit Trip. Das war für mich immer die Hölle dien100% einzustellen 🤙👍mfg Andre
Yeah...Trak Racer. It fits their heavy and clumsy design portfolio. Made in China. Do you know they still send all these aluminium profiles with deribs everywhere when you unpack it? Dan mentioned it quite some time ago in review and nothing changed. This is company still learning on customers. My advise is to avoid them, because difference what they show on website photos is far from reality.
Disagree. I have sim-lab and while they serve the same purpose, these look far easier to adjust with the large knobs instead of needing different size allen keys and trying to get in to very tight spaces to adjust the bolts.
@@kapitan_smollett to each their own I guess, but I see it as a tool, not a visual accessory, I'd much rather have ease of use. Something you're not going to see 99% of the time anyway.

great review, as usual, Dan. @2:28 you can see a slot between the two long bolts which can be used with a shorter screw and a T nut. 👍

Killing it as always Dan. Keep it up mate.
These looks great and I may be in the market to pair my crystal with triples soon.

Kinda curious if it'd be worth grabbing these. Already have the SimLab Vario kit but as well all know... It's never finished is it 😂
Definitely not worth it, the Simlab do the same thing 😅

Crazy to see a company local to me being reviewed on the other side of the world.
thank you very much for this review, its super helpful. you make great videos :)
I was reluctant do get this set but after couple months with 3x43in I “need” it 😂😂😂
I think you get the SimLab Variable Vesa Mounts when you order a monitor stand. The Track Racer you have you have to buy it extra
I bought this when it came out and I hated them, went back to the alignment I had before

where did you get the frames behind you from ?
Definitely should include standoffs at that price like you mentioned. Cool concept though.
I have them and really can recommend them

yeah, no, sim-lab ones are much better, and come with standoffs :)

@86 well, for me clean look is more important then one time convenience. and those knobs just look messy.
