Glad to hear! I think once the monitor is at the right distance from the eyes, the height of it is probably more than enough even with the 49". But being used to the triple monitor setup, I didn't want it to feel too much like a downgrade, and make me regret going with single. Can't wait to try the 57"!! I'll make a review video on it ;) Thanks for watching and for the comment!
I got the TR120 before some months with the same seat that you got and so far so good and steardy. I really like your passion, keep going with these videos👌
Make sure you spend time setting the PC up. A good thing to do is run benchmarking software that can stress test the system like Cinebench or 3dMark. This should find any instabilities in the hardware. Also look up how to set up things like enabling BIOS settings to get the memory running at its fastest speed. Theres plenty of YT videos to help. Maybe the video you used goes over these points. Its important to realise that a PC may not work at its optimum from the get go. Great setup. Love the monitor.
Great Video!! I just built the Tr160 myself (still waiting for the wheel deck). enjoying watching your videos and the journey your taking! Looking forward to the next one!!
I was super lucky to come across your channel and this video as I am looking right now at both this monitor stand and this monitor (or the 49" - your point about the screen height is an important one that will likely make me go for the 57"). I'm tired of the complexities of my triple screen setup which is quite old now, and I want to simplify my monitor setup to go along with my new 4090 pc! My old triple monitor stand is a TrakRacer stand, and the people at TrakRacer were super help both pre and post sale.
That is awesome to hear! Glad it was helpful. I have 32" monitors on my triple setup. I didn't want the height to be any different for the new one, it's what decided me on the 57". If you run a 4090 PC the 57" is going to be amazing in terms of quality as well, so I wouldn't hesitate ;) I'll be releasing a full review video on it in the next few weeks! Nice setup. I've seen another sim driver try a larger tv screen instead of triple monitors and being impressed with it so that may be an option for you at some stage.
for the monitor mount, it woudl have been good to have had a U shape bracket so you can hook it over the cross beam to hold in place while you tighten the screws - would help make it a one person job and not need to hold the monitor in place while someone else bolts it down.
This is probably the most accurate statement ever! Haha I was referring to when the rig and hardware and PC/monitor will be installed, but then I will need a buttkicker, dash, headset, stream box, name tag, ... ;) Thanks for watching and for the comment
Sarah, the 4070S will be very underpowered to be able to fully enjoy the monitor at its native resolution. It has more pixels than what triple 1440p monitors have, so quite likely you will need to reduce the resolution with gaming. I can recommend with the Neo 57" that you reach out to Tobii to experience the monitor with their Eyetracker 5. It is compatible with F1 titles but is not hard to get it also working with other sims using the latest version of opentrack software. This will give you a VR type experience, with smooth headtracking and making use of the large single screen with no annoying bezels. Headsup - nobody has done any sim racing videos comparing the 57" with headtracking to a system using triples.
Thanks for the comment! I got the monitor mostly for the size to avoid having to run triples again, but I knew I wouldn't be able to get the full potential. I think it will be sufficient for the games I play but may upgrade to a 4080 in the future if needed! I didn't know about the Eyetracker 5. That looks fun, and a great alternative to a VR headset, which I think becomes uncomfortable quite quickly. Thanks for letting me know, I'll check it out!

@@Mr_Latte_UK yes, I know it is definitely the best quality out there right now, just was a big budget between PC and monitor but I’ll definitely consider upgrading ;)
That was exactly my thoughts. It's effectively two 4K monitors and key is the number of pixels that the card needs to drive. Triple 1440p is just over 11 million pixels whereas 2x4K is 16.5 million pixels. That's about 50% more! It will be interesting to see what performance you get, but really that monitor is 4090 territory. I hope it provides enough performance for what you want.
Rig quality is amazing. Finish is incredible 👌 The downside of the 49in is the height of the monitor, and it’s still pretty expensive so I think for the same budget I would go triple instead. I hope 57 will be incredible as a single monitor though!
The 57in monitor is basically two 16:9 4K screens in one. So unless you have a 4090 type GPU getting high refresh rates on that monitor could be an issue unless you minimise the graphical settings. Good thing is iracing isn’t as taxing on graphics compared to other sim titles.

Yes some of my friends had to wait pretty long! I think it depends on the status of the rigs.. I think some may have been on back order but it wasn't well communicated on the website and people ended up waiting a long time. I did have to wait a couple of weeks for my monitor stand after the rig arrived but it wasn't too long of a wait overall. Thankfully they are very responsive so you can get an update easily. They also recently announced that they were moving to a new warehouse, which I think is in order to improve shipping times!

Sarah hi, you probably already know this but for those who are interested I have come to realize that FOV is determined purely by screen resolution. Screen size simply determines how close or far away the screen will be from your eye position :) 720p 16:9 = approx 12° vertical or 21° horizontal FOV 1080p 16:9 = approx 17,5° vertical or 30° horizontal FOV 1440p 16:9 = approx 24° vertical or 42° horizontal FOV 2160p 16:9 = approx 35° vertical or 60° horizontal FOV (your 2160p 32:9 NEO G9 57 will give 35,6° vertical or 97,6° horizontal FOV) If we want more than 35° vertical FOV we need 8K Basically a 30" 4K screen will ultimately give the exact same FOV as a 60" 4K screen. Yes if they are in the same position the 60" 4K screen will give twice the FOV but at half the visual clarity. The figures above apply to anyone with 20/20 vision based on "visual acuity" meaning that individual pixels are not discernable, regardless of screen size. Also 60 FPS is perfectly acceptable with these figures, but yes the higher the better... So I guess the idea for anyone looking to buy or upgrade would be to first choose a screen resolution based on desired FOV and then choose a screen size based on how far you want it from you, too small and it will be uncomfortably close and too big and it will be un-immersively far. Anyway, all the continued best !
Thanks for the comment! Very helpful. This is the exact reason why I went with this one. My main goal is immersion, before visual acuity, as the eye won't really be able to tell the difference. The higher the better obviously, but to me the immersion factor is key for sim racing, and this was the next best option after triple monitor setup.
I appreciate the work you put into this comment and the idea behind it being that you want to have absolute clarity. From my personal experience I prefer a larger FOV over absolute clarity. Going from 1080p to 1440p I hardly noticed anything. Only when trying to see pixels was it noticeable, while racing there was no difference. On the other hand going from 27” to 35” at the same distance made a massive difference to the overall immersion of the simulator. For reference I have 20/20 vision. It really just comes down to personal preference.
@@alecmillea4539 Thanks. I actually have no personal preference of clarity or FOV, just wanted to share the only way to objectively compare setups using the 20/20 visual acuity standard, and it is valid for a lot of people, especially first time buyers. Of course at the end of the day we are all free to choose whatever works for us, especially from experience but that is purely subjective and much less useful to others.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
D-box setup coming???
Its big setup :O
😍
esta muy bueno ese cockpit....y tu ! estas muy buena
Well that screen needs atleast a 4090 and even with that you cant run 240hrz. Bought one and changed it for the 49 inch one
I got the screen mostly for the size, to not have to run the triple on this setup. I might not get the full potential, but I think it should be sufficient for iRacing and F123. I'll post a review video once I test it out and upgrade if I really need to!
A crate? That has to be some sort of motion rig.
Could have been, but not at this point
Sarah hi, you probably already know this but for those who are interested I have come to realize that FOV is determined purely by screen resolution. Screen size simply determines how close or far away the screen will be from your eye position :)
720p 16:9 = approx 12° vertical or 21° horizontal FOV
1080p 16:9 = approx 17,5° vertical or 30° horizontal FOV
1440p 16:9 = approx 24° vertical or 42° horizontal FOV
2160p 16:9 = approx 35° vertical or 60° horizontal FOV (your 2160p 32:9 NEO G9 57 will give 35,6° vertical or 97,6° horizontal FOV)
If we want more than 35° vertical FOV we need 8K
Basically a 30" 4K screen will ultimately give the exact same FOV as a 60" 4K screen.
@@SarahNocchi My pleasure, it will be interesting to see which of your setups you prefer, I've done large projection and wide curved single screen but not triples, yet... keep the vids coming .)
@@SarahNocchiJust seen you are from France, ooh la I didn't get the accent... salut de Provence alors, on se verra peut-être en piste en LMU, iRacing c'est bien mais LMU c'est mieux !
Have you had any problems with this PC, I am seriously thinking about copying the PC, I am precisely planning to buy this same monitor and if it works for you I guess it will for me too
🔴🏎💨👍
make the 2 rigs , face off in multiplayer :p
men of culture
I'm more impressed with your physique ,but build is nice too hehe 😄
Hahaha well I guess the gym is paying off then :P Thanks for watching!
Aaldert
Very nice, it took me about the same time i set up my sim rig. Feel free to check out my channel for my full set-up and thank you and great video.
Nice vid but the 24/7 movement of the camera made me dizzy that it's no joy to watch.
Beautiful woman
Thank you kindly
Men of culture we meet again ….
Just try to post a video without spandex. Prove my point, with no views.
I hate it, None of this in this video I cant have :(
Camera operator sucks😂
lol these ultra wides are so dumb and overpriced
