You say the collection system is fixed however i am still losing a large portion of my iron in the overworld, do you have a fix?
also, I believe the iron golems are only spawning at night. :(

Is the trick with the sticky piston and daylight sensor correct to make the farm work in daylight
Took time to build cause of the mobs of the farm, but it's all worth it!
Just some minutes while finishing the farm and it already got me a full stack of iron BLOCKS!!! Thank you for designing it, it's really efficient.
BTW, as @lordofdawn said below, since the villagers need to sleep some times, it's also necessary to build a small contraption so they cannot see the zombie and sleep from time to time, otherwise the farm will eventually stop working. I put sticky pistons on each zombie cell, and connected them all to an observer facing a daylight sensor set to night mode, so that instead of blocking the zombies all night, it will block it just for a few seconds, just enough for the villagers to sleep a bit. I also used repeaters for the delay, but I don't think it's necessary.

Good farm, just a small addition to prevent the farm to stop working is to change the slab on top of the zombies to a full block and put a sticky piston pointed downwards with a daylight detector set to activate at night on top of the piston. You can also put 4 villagers in each cell for better productivity
I just built the farm and yea it not working when it’s day do I just have the sticky piston pointed down at the block so when it’s day it punches the zombie down and at night it off?
@@henrikteigen3502 yes at night the sensor activates and pushes the zombie down from the villagers eyesight so you reset the villagers "scared" status
wont it just keep the block down for the night
I can’t place a full bock in place of the slabs because the slabs are built in between the top and bottom full blocks and i don’t wanna move the whole farm down a slab :(

I built the iron farm exactly as the tutorial suggested. I even used Litematica to overlay the schematic on the actual build to ensure that everything is in the correct place. However, the farm doesn't seem to be working during the day, and not all villagers are reacting to the zombie. Some of them continue to sleep.
make sure the villagers are slept overnight and you placed the slabs correctly

I love this fram it help a lot but the bad thing is i can only afk for 10 minutes on the smp but most of that i get 500 to 1000 of afk for 10 minutes so thank you and i will use lot more of yours frams
this farm can produce +2400 iron ingots for each quad side so for higher rate you have to add more portals
how many boxes did you built?
for those who found it only works at night, I figured out that the 4 slabs facing the zombie were blocking the line of sight so replacing them with trapdoors fixes it. It only worked at night because the line of sight was made as they were going down to sleep for the night.
For each quad of the farm do i have to make a separate portal and collection system ?
is it 15 blocks above the slabs on the portals if you're expanding vertically?
if i put this in the spawn chunks will i still need a chunk loader? saw a few other comments about it and mentioned still needing a chunk loader in spawn but im curious as to why if they are still loaded?
No its no needed
If anyone want use this farm properly or any other portal based farm and use the pehkui mod, then you should change in the mod config the accurateNetherPortals to false.
When this is on true, in this case, the iron golem will spawn next to the portal or into the portal frame.

i have some questions:
1. can i run this farm overnight(in game)/does it work 24/7 as long as your there?
2. the iron golems seem to be spawning but they dont go through the portal or they just stand still which makes the farms rates go down
3. does this farm work better at night or day because at night the villagers seems to be scared but at day the villagers seems to not be scared
1. With a chunk loader yes
2. make sure the portals are connected correctly

@@TheySix how would I do a chunk loader if all of the portals are linked to one in the nether surrounded by lava or is there a different design I’m missing because my rates are VERY low no where near close to the 2400+ rates. it seems that the zombie isnt properly scaring the zombies thus causing the villagers to spawn iron golems at a very slow pace (note this only happens at day time, night time is when the farm is actually a farm)
With 4 modules the farm produces around 22 lingots per minute, 1320 per hour. Considering that zombies and villagers aren't easy to work with i wouldn't go for this design. Sorry for the english btw
make sure you placed the slabs correctly and your villagers are slept overnight
does the 5x4 platform above the villagers sit exactly on the slab or is there space cause i placed the slabs like u said top slabs and it isnt the same as in the video

Hello, so I made this farm. But instead of 4 squares (extension), I did 9 (extension). And it seems to not work. And I would like to ask, if there is anything I could do to improve it?
And how do you afk the farm properly? Do you stand in nether or in the middle of a chunk in the overworld? How do you afk operate the farm?
it doesn't matter make sure you placed the beds and slabs correctly make sure your villagers slept overnight and make sure your portals are connected correctly

i built the farm but almost all the iron go's back into the portal is there a way to fix this (i play on a server by the way 1.20.1 hope this isn't the problem) i also built the colection mechanism exactly like in the video
you have to place the minecarts correctly
also if you are able its better to use a portal and 9 hoppers ( with a tube ) for your killing chamber that will be much easier
im confused as to how to sync up the nether portals do you want me to build the kill chamber in the nether equivalent of those redstone blocks and if so will that sync with the 4 portals
I want to explain it better listen each block in nether is 8 blocks at overworld which means if you move 10 blocks it’s 80 blocks in overworld use calculator I have to do it easy

Yes if you build a lot sides then it can but this one is depend on your system stats too

I built this farm, with the sticky piston and day detector like that comment said and golems still werent spawning during the day. I still have this problem with golems not spawning during the day and also the items from when the golems dies just disappear

Whenever any Iron Golem gets teleported to the nether and dies, their items will drop into the portal and will be sucked back to the overworld. Hopper Minecarts are all in place, any suggestions?
did you check the minecarts by using f3 + b?
Rly Simple to understand, the Building is not that hard to do.
But i have a Problem with the Drops from the Iron Golems.
The Iron and Flowers get Teleportet back to the Overworld instead of getting picked up by the Hopperminecarts.
Its an easy Fix, i just have to change the Killingchamber but i thought im gona share this here.

the problem is caused by hopper minecarts that are so tricky
do you need to build a collection system for each set you build? i would be building it horizontally each one horizontally.

I currently have an Iron Golem in each of the portals in the overworld and they are just sitting there. Nothing is dying, is that normal? Or is there something else I can do? It's like they aren't going to the Nether?
portal at the end is not built exactly based on converted xyz of overworld ( center - farm ) i mentioned that
I had to add water pushing the golems into the portals because they spawning at the correct spot but very often just didnt teleport until you pushed them, does this mean i built something wrong. Also i was having problems with the rates sometimes being really slow.
also im fairly sure i followed all the steps correctly for the slabs and it seems like the back two villagers dont get effected by the zombie
the boxes are not aligned or the blocks are not spawn proofed to force them to spawn at correct spot or maybe your platforms are bigger than correct size
okay i made your 4800 iron ingots an hour iron farm from around 3 months ago n thought that was efficient for how simple it was but this is mad bro

At overworld in the middle of the farm
make sure you placed the hopper minecarts correctly
It doesn't matter where you afk as long as the chunks where the farms are loaded. For the iron in the over world it's because the iron golems are dying to the lava as soon as they enter and their resources go back through the portal. To fix this you can place the lava further down, break the top blocks of the portal, and put a chicken in a boat in the center of the portal. That way the iron golems will get shoved out of the portal then fall down and die from the lava.
im gonna give you a resome of what happends with that farm the things go out of the portal it only works at night so basicly a waste of materials

I have a question, how far is the farm expandable or do you need a new killing chamber for evry quad?
I think you only need one killing chamber even if you expand more than 4 quads, just keep in mind that every new quad must have 15 blocks of distance from each other
if you use chunk loaders in terms of mechanics infinite lol

each platform will spawn 1 iron golem ( each portal ) it will be 16 iron golems in your case

if you use 3 villagers you can't get 100% efficiency from the farm it depends on you ( speed )

in total all of the portals will be connected to the nearest portal at nether so make sure to build one chamber but in the middle of the farm@@Louis0815OG

The farm seems to work only at night when the villagers are trying to sleep but at daytime there's no iron golems spawning. Why is this happening. I made sure all of the villagers slept in the beds but idk what else to look at.
the bed direction are wrong you placed the slabs wrongly

the golems spawn on the zombie chamber
the items entered the portal again instead of entering the hopper.. it needs to enter the portal twice to get collected..
