That's not correct. Hartk didn't change the gap between the upper and lower XY joint so it works just fine with idlers or bearings. Mine has used powge idlers for over well 3000hrs. If anything the gap is too large because my idlers can move up and down but that's normal for the standard parts.
That is a good question, unfortounately I do not belive Richard Hammond has ever built a voron, "ambitious but rubbish" Top Gear BBC reference. Honestly there are some good videos Nero3d has one however its the longest thing to watch, the best advice I have is to look over the manual a few times. vorondesign.com/voron2.4 Click on the "manual" which is a .pdf download
Wow you are absolutely cranking these videos out! Awesome
well, I try....

Hey - can you let me know the source of your umbilical cable retainer doohicky up the top of your enclosure? I'd love to print one for my 2.4
Are you talking about the top most part? If so that’s my design. I can put it on printables for you.
@@TheVoronModder yeah the little bar that goes across and holds the umbilical up :) thanks!
@@TheVoronModder Hey mate - any chance you got around to uploading this?
Hi I was sent by the Old Guy Melts plastic. Can you recommend somewhere for an "ambitious but rubbish" person can learn about building a Voron? TY
