Stay true to yourself, Steve...your viewers follow you for a variety of reasons: keto, cooking, your integrity, sense of humor, professionalism, family, etc. Do what you think is interesting and we'll watch.

Thanks from the bottom of my heart Steve for all that you do. Making yourself a guinea pig has certainly stopped me from eating food I would have previously thought was ok. ❤
Hi Steve. Glad to hear you and Terry had a nice time away, I’ll just reiterate what everyone else is commenting here. You do you. It’s your channel. I personally enjoy all of your content. I think today’s podcast was around 18 minutes and it just flew right by. Some other content creators I can hardly get through 10 minutes. I am forward to this upcoming knife review. About 20 years ago I started buying knives. I have way too many but am always interested. 😊
Thanks so much for everything you do, Steve. I will continue to watch as much as I can, because I have learned so much from you. I'm not "strictly" keto anymore...I'm no longer in "weight loss" mode but know I still have to maintain my health and take care. I do some things that the keto police would not necessarily be happy with...like eating a few more bites of white rice from that Thai-basil-forward dish than I probably should. Because it's my anniversary and I don't do it all the time. My focus in life has changed even as I started watching your channel, and I will continue to watch. Because you are so informative and stay relevant. Thank you again. You do you and inform the rest of us as we do us.
sounds like me. I now use a bit of fruit for the fiber and taste. Dates are my substitute candy, for the occasional treat. Once I took off the 60 lbs or so, I am pretty much where I want to be, weight-wise. The trick is to stay there, and being carb-aware is that trick!
I think you were spot on about comments. Often I have thought a video I watched was not up to the standards for that particular content creator but I have not said so. Not everything I do on a daily basis is super fantastic and some of it is, well. below my standards so I know what it is like to look at something and think "I could have done better". No one needs to remind me. No one needs to remind you either.
I cook very little but I appreciate your simple recipes, and I love the ready to eat product reviews. Safeway added the hamburger buns to their Hero line..... I had burgers WITH buns, HEAVEN! Why did this happen...... YOU 👍
I feel the same way about comments. I comment (when I actually comment!) when I really like something and keep schtum when I don't. I like your restaurant metaphor. Pick what you like--watch what you like. It's like people announcing that they're unhappy and they're never going to watch a particular show or content creator EVER AGAIN. I mean, just leave already! All that said, I like your channel. For example, I am never going to wear a CGM, but I do enjoy hearing about it. But if I didn't, and the show was about them, I just wouldn't watch. Easy peasy. Anyway, Steve, I think you have great content, and I plan to keep watching. Cheers!
Sounds like you had a nice few spa days. I feel like you are a very Genuine person. I enjoy all your videos, especially the ones with other family involved. Just continue to be you. Packers had a great game today.
Steve, even if you DID change your format, it's your channel! Those of us that love your content will stick around! Interesting how comfortable people are with you to express themselves so freely 😂
Steve, one of the things I really enjoy about your channel is the variety. From Podcasts, to glucose reaction, to unboxing, to reviews and of course your recipes. Please keep it up. I watch what I can when I can and try to take in as much as possible. I love that you include your family whenever you can. It certainly adds a personal touch. Having worked in the corporate work as a software developer for the last 26 years, I can certainly understand your distaste with the corporate world. I wish you the best in this endeavor and I hope it gets you into retirement when the time comes! God speed!
Super Kudos for recommitting to posting cooking videos. Your inclusion of Levels monitoring earns status as “best keto reviewer” IMO. While the bar for virtually all other keto reviewers is low net carbs (some even barely faithful to that)-monitoring blood glucose is the single measure I’m aware of that reliably informs how to avoid/control diet-related insulin reactivity. For the huge population who cannot afford Levels and CGM, your documentation is a godsend. While each person’s response may differ, and even yours may change somewhat over time, seeing trends and comparisons of your readings for similar foods is a very helpful reference.
I completely agree!!! Steve's glucose monitoring and showing his experience is super helpful to me. And I even recognize that HIS results won't be MY results, because I have a SUPER HIGH over reaction to any carb whatsoever... his BS might climb 50-100 points, but mine would be sure to climb 200 points! So just seeing his BS reaction is helpful, tells me what to stay AWAY from!

I concur with your shirt. Your "hesitations" about massage makes sense - touching someone else is a real thing - not meaningless. You wouldn't massage your brother's wife - for real reasons. But it's all personal choice isn't it. -- And I also did that rice eating thing this week at a special event with my Dad, and later in the day my energy crashed and I couldn't stay awake without actually standing up and walking. Happy Anniversary! We celebrate ours in October as well and spend a week in Door County. My hubby has the same problem as you with unwinding and relaxing. Rice does me dirty that way too Steve LOL
We have a small Nespresso coffee maker that we bring with us while traveling along with powdered cream. I tell the waiter that I don’t want any carbs. With a turkey sub I would (and often have) picked out the good food. I don’t have a CGM, and don’t plan together them. We’re going to a Nepalese restaurant tomorrow, lots of tandoori food, so I should be OK.

Thanks for letting us know your thoughts and feelings, Steve. I think if a person dislikes what a channel does to the point of threatening not to watch....that is what they should do. It only takes a 'click' to vote for something different. For loyal viewers, though, sometimes the feedback is dissenting, but should be voiced respectfully. I guess the content creator has to learn how glean the relevant information and ignore the negativity. But I can imagine that being stressful, especially over time. I appreciate your videos, Steve. My only 'negative' feedback is that I get concerned for you risking your ketosis on a regular basis testing breads and wraps. :) In any case, you are a great content creator and I look forward to watching you develop your program direction. Congratulations on your trip and anniversary, and belated happy birthday to Terry. Oh, PS: I love seeing your family in the videos; I hope they enjoy participating, and that the negativity of viewers does not extend there.
FOR REAL about that "threatening not to watch".... just DON'T WATCH THEN, move on, go do what makes you happy, let Steve DO what makes HIM HAPPY... it's really very simple then!
I have learned to look forward to massages. I don't do "relaxation" ones (bleh), just sports/deep tissue. Deep tissue has helped restore my mobility (removed pain) from a long existing injury that PT couldn't fix.
Your videos are a combination of helpful tips, recipes, useful tools, reviews and or thoughts to ponder (just off the top of my head). Best of all, they often times make me chuckle or even lol. Keep on doing whatever makes you happy, appreciate all you do!
I am one of the few who love candy corn, although it can't be too few because they sell a lot! Love a good massage and therapeutically, should get them regularly. I need a vacation, that sounds great!
I too LOVE CANDY CORN.... one of my favorites my grandma's kept stocked up during this time of year. I still love them, but I'm not allowed to have them!! My "cruel" CGM would screech at me yelling "THOU SHALT NOT EAT THAT!! BAD BAD!!!" so I better toe the line and NOT eat them! I miss you candy corn, but sorry to say YOU ARE POISON to me!
.......all about the 👕. I'd love the candy corn little pumpkins that I can't eat anymore. Choc zero needs to get on that. Yes take a vacation, we're still here....oh my word, too much touching 😆 Hands OFF lady.....almost lost BUT ALMOSTLY😂 it's the PACK with the WIN!!!!
......you explaining the contact matter, all I can hear is the Queen Song..... I want it all, I want it ALL, AND I WANT IT NOW. Is it SHUN???? ❤Them!!!
ME TOO about those little yummy pumpkins, but no can DO!! its poison to me, sad as that makes me feel. Yes! Choc Zero makes little marshmallows that puff up over a campfire, so that is NICE! And GO PACK GO!!!!! 😂
Hi Steve, I hope your day goes well. Glad you had some time out for your Anniversary. I have enjoyed all your content thus far but if it is not my thing, I just won't watch. (If I remember I still give it a thumbs up)
Hi again! Again, I'm happy to watch whatever you put out there! And I have to confess to a little secret wish of mine... I see the electric guitar on the wall, the poster of the electric guitar, I see the little acoustic what is that, a Ukulele? It's only got 4 strings? And the keyboards.... ya, so my question is... what is your favorite style of music? I was raised by musicians (they made their living that way) Me and my husband play music (but not professionally) and then my eldest son is a bass player/singer in a band for fun (maybe a little money, but not his main gig, he's a software engineer lol). So what is it? Whats your music joy?
Yes, that's a Ukulele back there. In one of my podcasts (a long time ago), I played "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd on it. Mostly I'm in to rock, but I enjoy all kinds of music. My preferred guitar is a Martin acoustic that I keep in the living room next to my couch.
@@SeriousKeto WHAT!?! I gotta go find that! I love Pink Floyd too!! well, all classic rock really LOL We are going to see a Led Zepplin tribute band next Thurs (actually its an offspring of one of the members, so ya! they are the best of the Led Zepplin tribute bands!) We live near Vegas now, so regularly venture into that territory to go see our favorite cover band LOL see YT video called "Spandex Nation - Live Demo" haha 🤩 I love them so much! But I do also listen to "not glam metal" classic rock too, LOVE IT!!
Amazon is missing a HUGE opportunity here... Being able to send a gift thru them, using only an email for the recipient! Yea! Vacation ketoing was something I asked for! I find it hard to do. Thx! I've been in FB groups where someone announced they're leaving because x,y,z. I always think, "newsflash! No one cares." But now I think if someone loses a lot of followers for the same reason maybe they want to know. I don't know, but I do know you can't please everyone. I've watched things I wasn't interested in and was pleasantly surprised. The reverse is true too. I always try to remember to like a video, regardless because I as appreciate what you all do and there are others that may find worth in something even if I didn't.

lol.... I know as a kid, you never wanted to see too much candy corn in the Halloween trick or treat bag. Chocolate bars were the best!
Always love your honesty. Keep up the great work
Happy anniversary glad you got away for a few days (I love a massage but my wife relies on me to give her one.) (no reply needed ;-)
great video Steve! Love how you always take the time to respond and make us feel part of your keto & cooking adventures. If you cant get to them all or need a break however, we totally understand! Three hours to reply to everyone is an awefully long time lol. Have a good one man!
I trust you.
Happy Anniversary! We celebrate ours in October as well and spend a week in Door County. My hubby has the same problem as you with unwinding and relaxing. Rice does me dirty that way too Steve LOL
We hit Door County every other year, so we'll probably be up there next October.
So true Steve. " Do onto others"
Don't make me stop watching you!!!
😂 Love the shirt! Great to see you back and looking refreshed. Happy Belated Anniversary 🎉
I love your channel Steve and will watch you and your family know matter what kind of content you put out. Keep being true to yourself. Love the shirt! 🧡🎃
Love the shirt
I hope in the future your meet up will be on a weekend. Sorry I missed this one.
@@exposingdarkness5351 I was at the mercy of my host’s schedule, but if I do something local in the future, I’ll try to get a more accommodating time/day.
LOL. When talking about Teri's love of message you said "Rubber Neck". LOL.
Glad you had a few days to relax. Enjoy your content.
💗💗💗
I have learned to look forward to massages. I don't do "relaxation" ones (bleh), just sports/deep tissue. Deep tissue has helped restore my mobility (removed pain) from a long existing injury that PT couldn't fix.
Your videos are a combination of helpful tips, recipes, useful tools, reviews and or thoughts to ponder (just off the top of my head). Best of all, they often times make me chuckle or even lol. Keep on doing whatever makes you happy, appreciate all you do!
Thank you for the very kind words. What a great message to read first thing in the morning. I really appreciate it. 🙂👍
Hey Steve, its all good. Its your channel..ppl can choose to watch or not. Keep up the good work. I like the cgm food tests. Thanks pal.
😊
Ahh, candy corn.... waxy & overly sweet. I don't miss it.
I don't get it either! Well said. Thank you
I couldn't imagine replying to so many comments. I think you do an awesome job doing that.💪
It takes some time, but I feel it’s important to do. 🙂
Bahaha! Love the t-shirt!
I enjoy your channel just the way it is!
I appreciate that!
.......all about the 👕. I'd love the candy corn little pumpkins that I can't eat anymore. Choc zero needs to get on that. Yes take a vacation, we're still here....oh my word, too much touching 😆
Hands OFF lady.....almost lost BUT ALMOSTLY😂 it's the PACK with the WIN!!!!
If I were still biting my nails, that game would have left me badly in need of a manicure.
......you explaining the contact matter, all I can hear is the Queen Song.....
Hahahahahaa love the shirt!!!😂
I like that shirt that is a cool shirt Steve.
Amazon is missing a HUGE opportunity here... Being able to send a gift thru them, using only an email for the recipient!
Yea! Vacation ketoing was something I asked for! I find it hard to do. Thx!
I leave my YT comment notifications off. I'll never see a reply, bcuz I don't care to hear what the whiney people say! 😂
Love the content, however you present it.
❤ from MN! ❤
Thank you! I feel the same way about massages. Unless it’s my husband, NO THANK YOU! 🙂↔️
