- Today, we are going to a thrift store to look for some fall and Thanksgiving-themed decor and items you can thrift for holiday gifts.
I’m also going to DIY Beeswax wrap as a gift for a hostess friend of mine.
I’ll update you on the chair I won at the auction, including how I used Bissell’s Little Green Machine. Wait until you see how much gunk comes off this chair!

Especially enjoyed the wax paper bit! and not necessarily DC, but Second Chance in Baltimore makes for a very exciting/intense walk thru.
I’m glad you liked it. I’ve started using some of them and they work great! Thanks for the reco. If we go there, I’ll mentally prepare for an “intense” walk through. 😉 Thanks for watching!
My sister had white wool wall to wall carpeting. She used to put a Clorox 2 solution right in the steam cleaner instead of the regular solution. Worked like a charm.
That’s a new one, I’ll put it on my list. 🙂 Thank you!
Is that wax and cloth item reusable?
@@janecannon5567 Yes, 100% reusable. I wash them with warm water and soap, then leave them out to dry. Once they are dry, they are ready to use again. I've started using one of the wraps I made off-camera. It gets better the more I use it. It has loosened up and started sticking to itself/dishes/plates so the air doesn't get in and my food stays fresh.
I think the leaf artwork is done in pastels- right between chalk and crayon!
I would still take the cushion cover off take the stuffing out put in washer then restuff😊
I put it in the washing machine with the stuffing 😳 It was a risk, but it got a lot of the discoloration/stain off. Maybe I’ll keep doing it. Thanks for watching!
I buy a lot from auctions too. Try using rug cleaning foam like the Woolite or Resolve and then using the green machine upholstery cleaner to suck it out.
@@AndYourLittleDog I'll put that on my list. Thank you!
Remove cushion and soak overnight in bio detergent then wSh as normal
Thanks for the tip, and for watching!
