Temu makes these little furniture jacks and rolling feet. They help move furniture so easily and do not cost much.
I recently downsized and had no storage either. Watching you is precisely the reason why I went to the charity shop and bought a load of old furniture for a bargain, got it delivered into the flat and it's all ready built, cos it's second-hand. I could not cope with all flat pack these days. I just don't have the strength or agility for it, although in my younger days I used to build tons of flat pack stuff. Now I've tarted up my stuff with paint and shiny contact paper, new knobs, they all look fantastic. I've created a ton of storage out of mis-matched junk, but great quality junk, as they're wood.
I commend you putting your stuff together, your home looks so great. I can't wait till I've finished prettying up my little home.
I absolutely LOVE Thrifting. Many of my kitchen items are from Ebay, Goodwill and Garage sales. I was lucky that TEMU wanted to send me the furniture that I actually needed for my new flat. Dressers are the way to go in a Tiny Home, especially if you are renting. They provide elegance for useful storage. Happy decorating, Cheers!
@@NinthElement I agree with dressers. Drawers are much more useful than cupboards. Plus, if you're lucky in the thrift stores, you might come across some CD storage cabinets or small hutches which can be repurposed. Once painted up and with sticky contact paper, they sit lovely on top of the dressers & worktops for shelving. I've been lucky enough to find 3 up to now, so happy with them. £/$10 each. :) xx

I came to your channel after seeing you cook lasagna for Isaac and Jaylena. You are such a delight. Knowing that you came off the road because of back problems, I really worried about you putting that furniture together. I'm a 69 yr old woman trying to build out a shuttle bus. I have done a LOT of furniture putting-together lately and it can really leave my back aching. Like you, I open those heavy boxes and move the components one-by-one. I love TEMU but haven't ordered any furniture from them yet. The stuff you got is pretty impressive. Getting that table when there was already one provided is a pretty strong clue that you are committing to this "home base" for the long run. I love that for you.

Oh I didn’t know you were having problems with your back. Oh I literally feel for you, I have a herniated disk in my lower lumbar which is effecting my right hip & radiating to my knee. I sleep under an electric blanket which helps my back and especially my hip & knee. I have had 5 epidurals shots in my lower lumbar & a shot in my hip that never helped.
I love the way you have your tiny house decorated, it is so calming & pleasant.
The built in oven in the tiny one bedroom mobile home that I rented with someone else didn’t work so we had gotten an oven just like yours & I loved it. Only thing I didn’t like about it; it was not easy to clean! Too many sharp edges inside & that was scary I was afraid I’d slice my finger or hand open. I am such an accident prony when it comes to sharp objects.
It baked, broiled, & dehydrated, excellently.
It was great and it did not heat the whole house up! I will keep you in my prayers Mindy. Please be careful picking things up remember not to pick up with your back. Rather bend your knees and go down straight keeping your back straight pick up with your legs. Your less apt to hurt your back this way. Less irritation on those disks.
I hate taking medications, as well. I like my brain & liver!
I love the new furniture! Did it take very long for it to arrive after purchasing.

I just ran across your video new subscriber here. I do have a UA-cam channel. Your home is beautiful. I also suffer from degenerative disc disease and I’ve had three back surgeries, but I keep doing home decor and diy projects. I’m retired and it keeps me busy. I have a rectangular card table that I used to set up with a chair and I assemble things that way, depending on what it is because getting down on the floor and getting up is no joke. I found the video the other day where I was building a raised garden bed and I was sitting on my garden bench bent over and my back went on vacation. It took me about a week to recover, but I’m back at it. The table and the credenza is really nice. Yes I wipe everything down with the Clorox wipes. That credenza is perfect over in the corner. 👌🏽

Hi, I know what you are going through with your back. I have to hire a house keeper because my back hurts so bad. Some days I am ready to fly and other days its a no go for me. I love Temu., I love shopping with them

Oh the toaster rotisserie and dehydrator is nice can you give me measurements i may really like one. Thank you.
Also for pain control i take honey with ground turmeric 1/2tsp turmeric 1tsp honey 2 times per day. The ground turmeric in spice isle is best. If you use fresh then you must double it. It has helped me with degenerative disk and lupus.

I shop at temu but is very true soo many pieces and instructions are not always great. That is really my only complaint.
I got gravity lawn chairs from temu and they were packed like they were fragile but they are steel and plastic

The new furniture goes so well with what you already have. Degenerative disk disease is the pits, isn't it? PT exercises, ice packs, massage, and water aerobics help me.

Aww, I love your tiny home, it's looking beautiful. I don't sanitize items at all, personally for me, I don't see the need. I didn't get caught up in the fear around sanitizing from the last 4 years. Not dissing you for doing what you feel you need to 🙂 I empathize with living with chronic pain. I have several conditions, all stemming from Bartonella 16 years ago and contracting Lyme Disease 5 years 4 months ago, then reinfected 9 weeks ago. These bacterial infections have caused other conditions, chronic pain and chronic fatigue included. May you find the right treatment and take care of yourself..Have you heard of the spoon theory? You may find it of interest to chronic conditions and energy levels. All the best from the UK
