I camp in my 2011 ford escape. The escapes you could remove the bottom cushion so the seats are actually fully flat. I have to put a upside-down crate in the rear floor board to make an extension though.
Nice fix! I was recommended to lay some cardboard boxes flat out on the low side of my bronco to level out the ground. I’ll be trying it soon! Good to hear from you 😄
@@BuckinBronco You can pop the back seats out in the same way on the sport, they just have plastic clips so you can pop them out and put them back super easy. It lets the seats sit flush
Hi friend! Are you referring to the plastic liner on the back of the back seats? If so, mine came preinstalled and I see where there are button type connections but I haven’t tried to remove that liner. Also in my trunk area I do not have the option floor mat since the trunk floor is already made of that material. I know the trunk mats just sit there and are not clipped in. Also my floor mats have two areas to clip in in the front seats but I don’t believe that’s what you’re referring too. Hope that answers your question! Feel free to reply back and I’ll try to help further.
I'm thinking about buying one. I car camp alot. I suppose you could also "dummy up" the flat section a bit with a thick blanket, then throw a mattress on top.
I agree, buddy! The foldable head rests and stow away seats were ideal. They make cars cheaper and smaller than ever before to save on costs and fuel efficiency. There’s less and less room for stowaways. It’s a shame. Luckily the Bronco Sport is a heck of a lot better for in-vehicle sleeping than the big Bronco. You fold those big Bronco seats down and they are like a foot above the trunk floor! Take care, my friend!
Awesome video! Thank you so much for making this video. I have been wanting to buy a Bronco!! What other color would you have chosen if it wasn’t blue? Thanks broh
If you sleep with your head towards the front of the vehicle, your body weight pushes down the seats more and whatever angle you’re then at doesn’t feel much different from flat. If you sleep with your head towards the back, you will feel the slant much more and might not like that. Happy travels!!
If you look at the original specs on the bronco say around 1968 you will find that the Bronco Sport is closer to the original Bronco that the full sized one is today. One must also remember going full sized is what led to it’s demise the first time.
@@asquithmainlines699 Great insight! I wasn’t fully aware of this but I did notice the larger Bronco resembles a Jeep more than a traditional Bronco, in my opinion. Love my Bronco Sport!

I've lost something behind the back seat, where it folds down. How do I access that part of the floor?
Hey! Take out the trunk floor where the spare tire goes and you can see under the back seats from there.
about how long is the 'cargo' area once the seats are folded down?
I would like to see an answer to this question
How did you install the liners mine won't push in do you have to remove anything

Good idea! I always have extra cardboard boxes at the house, I could probably use those too. Thanks friend, happy camping!
What kind of mattress did you use?
Cool Gel 8” Gel Memory Foam Mattress, twin.
But it was too firm for me! Don’t get if you don’t like firm mattresses.
What is the distance from the back of the drivers seat to the trunk door when it’s closed?
Hey Jessi!! I just made a video answering your question, it drops today at 10:00 AM.
I'm finding that nothing compares to a stow n go dodge caravan for convenience of car camping

Thanks! Cyber Orange for sure.
This does help. I want to sleep flat in mine. Thanks.
