Level Cargo Area On 2 Door Bronco Badlands - Not A Rear Seat Delete, Rear Seats Still Usable

- Wanted to modify the back area of our 2 Door Bronco Badlands to be better for our dog and more room to carry luggage on trips. We still need to rear seats sometimes so did not want to do a rear seat delete. Instead, we just made a small platform to level the area and then used a heavy rubber mat from Tractor Supply to cover the whole area.
Worked out great, and definitely made the Bronco more dog friendly. The platform can stay in place when the seats are up and offers some additional storage underneath. Milwaukee PackOut trays fit under the platform - www.homedepot....

Thanks for watching!

@79staceface - Awesome, glad this was helpful. Hope your project goes well, we love how this turned out for us.
Well done. I looks pretty darn level and perfect for your needs
@slycat67 - Thanks for the comment. Yes, we are super happy with how it came out.
This looks perfect but I have one problem..... my back seats of my 2 door don't fold that flat. Did you do something to yours to make them go down more ?
@nikkibrewer3945 - I did not make any modification. When you lift up the bottom seat portion and stand it up it is on a loop sort of hinge. It will stand straight up and the back will fold down and wedge at an angle. But if when you stand it up you sort of pop it forward/over it comes ahead a little more and is more vertical. Then when you fold down the back it should be as flat as mine. Make sure your front seats are pulled ahead to give the extra room you need. Should be a standard feature to go this flat. Thanks for the comment. Hope this helps you.
Nice job. Any chance of getting a measurement from the rear seat headrest to the indent on the rear door wear you cut the indent on the mat. I'm going to use carpet instead. Thanks!
@Bizness10 - Thanks! Sure I can get that for you. On the road today. Will get that posted tomorrow.
@Bizness10 - I measured on the heavy rubber mat, from the bottom of the notch I cut for the headrest to the cut out for the back door it was 43 1/8”. The total length of the rubber mat is 47 3/4”. Hope that gives you what you were looking for.
