@@The80sWolf_ I mean you can't blame them, theatrical cut will always be the one that people remember it for. And to be honest it is not our obligation to watch a director's cut of a film. Director's cut, like Jeremy said, are meant to be an extension of an already great film and not a damage control for whatever mess a director made by cutting parts that leaves the final film incoherent.
What are you talking about? It’s still trash. The UE, doesn’t erase that stupid Martha scene, doesn’t erase Lex Luthor acting like peewee Herman, that Lex belongs to Batman forever and Batman and Robin movie 😂. The ending was so dumb and anticlimactic, just so superman comes back from the dead the next movie, so died for nothing, just a stupid plot device. Also the fact that Lex Luthor releases a doomsday, not being able to control him, did he just assume that they will be killing each other 😂, what if doomsday killed Superman and he’s still alive, what is Lex gonna do? The movie is so dumb, they killed Jimmy Olsen in 10 seconds. Superman is a depressed emo, he cries about everything, he says he’s no hero and it’s just a dream, wow what a stupid movie misunderstanding all these iconic characters. Batman is nothing but a stone cold killer and yet let’s superman go cuz he has a mommy named Martha.
@@Dondingdingding Well for one it connects and scenes makes sense more for people average person so would oh this dont make sense (not to bright ones). I MUCH BETTER NARRATIVE that even little minds might understand
The shank scene orchestrated by Luthor to further drive the "bat brand death sentence" angle, the burning of the bodies in the desert incident, when the witness from the desert incident comes clean and her murder to cover it up, and so much more. I actually liked the theatrical cut but all the investigative pieces in the beginning of the UE really drove the story, it should not have been omitted
@kehef sherwani I think you can get it digitally if you have any prime devices that connect to your tv, or an gaming device, or you could try finding it in any store with a dvd section.
hewhoisthere I can easily. It makes no sense. Half of the movie is Batman saying superman is dangerous, he killed thousands of people, and that he needs to be stopped, blamed him for all the destructions, cuz all these were facts. Not only that, he then sees a future where Superman is the villain, and later on Flash saying he was right about Superman all along, and yet this dumb Batman forgets all about that cuz marthaaaaaaaaaaaa. He Kills people before and after that martha scene but let’s go of Superman and becomes bffs, Why? Because his mommy shares same mommy name, so he must be good 😂. Anyone that defends this dog shit movie is an idiot.
BVS was not the plan to begin with it was going to be Man of Steel 2 but because DC set the bar so high for how much money they wanted to make we got this. Then they wanted to move on from Snyder movies so they change Justice League too.

The "Ultimate" edition just makes the stupid parts slightly less stupid and the pointless subplots less pointless. The movie overall is still filled with bad ideas that didn't need to be there. It's still fucking incompetent.
Don't like the term head and shoulder but you're right. It made the story more understandable, the motivation more clear. For people with amazing comprehension, it's a treat. Don't recommend this kind of movie for kids coz its story driven.
Gotta love Pre-2018 WB management. It was full of terrible decisions like removing 30 minutes from BvS making it choppy so that it could play more times in theaters than a 3 hour movie could
Dude I was actually very impressed with affleck as Batman. He looked the part. The suits he wore were awesome. He looked big like Batman should. Bat ears on his mask were short which made his neck look bigger which in turn made his traps look bigger and so on and so forth. Wore black around his eyes to make his eyes look intimidating and pop. So much better than the others. Multiple outfits including the trench coat and goggles, also robot suit. Voice simulator was way cooler than bales bat accent. The way he moved when he fought, and crawled around the ceiling. By far the best Batman interpretation yet in my opinion. But best Batman movie(s) still go to Nolan.
His batman is fine but look at G-force/ gatchaman. I think that's how batman should look. Lithe. Which is how every batman has looked like usually except DKR inspired ones and Bruce Timm inspired ones.
I agree whole heartedly with this comment review👌🏻 I said it from the first day Ben Affleck was cast that he would be the best Batman we have had yet and it just made sense. No one agreed with me at the time, but since then I have happily told all of my friends “I told you so” 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

@@tae_.2644 Jesse is very , how do I put this . . . , bizarre. If looked at in a vacuum yes he’s ok I guess. Reminds me of some looney tunes characters at times though. Seeing lex in the animated series, comics, and a few t.v. Show appearances he can be both cunning, threatening, and oddly charming. This performance is barely that 😅
@@tae_.2644 the Martha scene was probably one of the most made fun of scenes since the film came onto theaters. I know what they were going for here but I just couldn’t buy that all it took for them to be instant friends was having shared the same mother’s name. Oh and then there’s the doomsday reveal which should have been it’s own movie for a later sequel. Also the fact they killed off Superman BEFORE the justice league was established (seriously he only had one movie) would have had the iconic funeral where all the heroes and some villains paying respect to an iconic heroes demise. Ok now I’m upset this film gets a 4/10 now.
@@camerapunk4109 The Martha scene wasn't based around Batman and Superman sharing the same mother's name, it was basically humanizing Superman for batman. He basically thinks Clark is an Alien who doesn't feel anything human, so he just sees him as an Alien threat. This is Batman's way of directly killing Clark. In BvS he indirectly kills, like Snyder said. It's also what Batman thinks "They shouldn't have been in the car when I blew it up.". "They shouldn't have been in the room where I threw the grenade". So this was a big deal for him. He made Clark seem like an Alien that had no feeling. But when he realizes he has a Mother, which is human and named Marth, his PTSD kicks in and he realizes that he's going to do the same thing he's been fighting against. And his senses kick in, he tries to make it right in the end of BvS. Its alright that you mistook the scene for just having the same name.
Movie goers: "ooh I don't want to sit through a 3 hour movie. That's so long wtf?" Also movie goers: *Goes home and binge watches a whole season of a show on Netflix in a day*
WB thought people didn’t want to sit through 3 hours of this or even longer for JL. Then Marvel drops a couple of 3-hour Avengers flicks and rakes in the cash. This is why a whole bunch of people got canned and perhaps might be why AT&T is seemingly reforming the Snyderverse.
Gonna sound like a snobby asshole but I don't like most TV shows because they feel bloated with lots of filler on a smaller budget whereas movies get to the point with a higher production value. Also TV shows seem like a way for new actors to raise their profile but with that comes tons of overacting whereas big movie stars have already made it and performances seem less forced. Not saying TV shows can't be good but I really struggle to engage with them, I'd rather binge video games.
@@davidvillainy8660 If anything it shows how much different Batman is in his later years. The Batman is much sloppier and more violent in terms how he beats the one guy. @@devanshtrivedi3905 It's on Amazon and it's on Netflix. I believe the Ultimate edition is the only edition you'll find anyway as it's the best version and most streaming sites wouldn't try to get the license for the worst version of a show.
Ive watched Irishman and the godfather movies same here but when it comes to supe movies it gets tiring not just ultimate edition of bvs even endgame felt long
The ultimate version actually feels a lot shorter. Even with the 30min extra, it's probably because the flow is better. It's also intense AF sometimes, the whole Africa scene was great on the ultimate.
I actually appreciated Eisenberg's luthor after the Ultimate edition. Because I realized that his spastic persona is just an act. A way to make people see him as just an eccentric billionaire daddy's boy, and avert attention from his plan This becomes obvious if you listen to the tone of his voice. It's actually deeper when he is his "true" self And he even says it in the end "I'm crazy. I'm not even fit to stand to trial"
3AM Beats to be honest, i have only put the theatrical cut disc in the ps4 to watch the bonus material. Because all the bonus features are on the theatrical cut disc. Whenever i watch the movie its always the ultimate edition.
The extended edition of BvS is actually the first version of the movie I saw and when I saw the theatrical cut I couldn’t finish watching it because it felt off and like so much was missing. So I will say the extended edition was better.
To be honest, I watched both; but first the theatrical. And while some of the investigation threads were more fleshed out, the premise ends weakly. IE: The batman-superman fight that loses a lot of impact when you think about any of the motives there at that time; and of which HISHE poked many holes in. And the investigation wasn't even that interesting; making it 30 minutes of hoh-hum, added in with a lot of boredom already; and I am sleeping through that movie, until the two different finales. Which were brain-dead anyway; but at least the visuals were kinda cool. But not even in the same category as something like MoS, Wonder Woman, or Aquaman.
i think the point is ur first impression of it, no matter which version u watch 1st, u will never go back. i watched the 3 hours version 1st and felt naked when i watch the theatrical one when they show it on TV. For me this movie is 9/10

Things like this frustrate me. It’s like why didn’t you do this in the first place. It proves these executives have no idea what their doing. I am 100% positive the Snyder cut of Justice league is going to be 1000x’s better
Absolutely! I remember watching this cut and, within the first 5 minutes yelled at the screen "why did they cut this out!?". Like Jeremy said, there's still issues, but so many of the plot holes are fixed with the Ultimate Edition that, like you, it just frustrates me when executives put their noses in creative endeavors like this only to make it a worse product than its original version.
yeah, I know right? Like did you read the Collin Trevorrow script for Episode IX? Duel of the Fates is infinitely better than Rise of Skywalker...but Bob Iger and the execs at Disney were too stupid and said it was too risky...now I doubt JJ Abrams will ever work for them again...if that's the case maybe we have a chance now of a JJ Abrams directed Superman movie...plus Henry Cavill's returning to the role so that'll make it a double win.
Agreed, I didn't really mind it when I saw it in theaters but ever since the UE was released I refuse to ever watch the theatrical version again because it's not the full movie
I'm suddenly coming into this phase where I'm distant from any Marvel thing and going to back to DC and yeah this film looks like a breath of fresh air. :D
Same dude. My first experience with "The Watchmen" was ALSO the Director's Cut, I'm happy to say haha. After seeing that, I knew I had to wait for the blu ray!
I like it a lot. Granted, I don't think it's masterpiece", but it doesn't have to be. I enjoy it, and like Snyder's vision of these characters. Can't wait to see his JL on HBO Max.
Yeah everyone but lex is fine I just don't understand why Snyder wanted Jesse Eisenberg so bad for his movie like he's a good actor but he wanted him for Jimmy Olsen and turned him into Lex Luthor since Jesse didn't want a small role. But that's my only problem with the casting choice.
See Jesse is my favorite lex luthor ever but I know I’m in the minority but I’m in the extra minority because even people who like the movie like me usually say they didn’t like eisenberg
kudos to those snyder fanboys who refused to acknowledge the problems of this movie, and straight say it's a "masterpiece" Lol. like they don't even say "it's my opinion", they literally say it's a masterpiece and whoever don't agree with them, then by their logic, those people are stupid
There's a scene in the ultimate edition that gives me chills every time. After the wheel chair explosion, Alfred is seen chopping wood. He obviously isn't aware of what's happened, but the eerie score plays. He walks in and calls out to Bruce, only to see the news report on the TV covering the explosion and Superman's suspected involvement and the red taunt notes addressed to Bruce, he looks through the window knowing damn well what this has done to Bruce's already declining mental state. In most incarnations and comics, Alfred is present whenever Bruce suits up and leaves. This is the first time that Bruce is so enraged that he leaves without notifying Alfred. The rage has alienated Bruce from even Alfred.
This is exactly what I've been thinking since the ultimate cut released. And I think, as a whole, people wasn't really aware about Alfred. In the other side, WB really fucked BvS including Jeremy Iron's portrayal of Alfred.
One thing I loved about the Ultimate Edition as well is that the whole Senate hearing, and witnesses were fleshed out more and it showed more about Lex's plan.
The theatrical didn’t really explain about Lex putting a bomb in Wally’s chair, did it? I know it didn’t explain Clark being unable to see through it even if he had tried.
@@michaelbuckelew It was, but it was really quick. The Extended Cut's more deliberate pacing draws more attention to it, letting you sit the information as the scene progresses. It is really hard for an audience to retain info when they aren't given enough time to digest it.
I think thats a funny thought. Bryan Cranston played Walter White who went by the alias Heisenberg. His partner in crime was none other than someone named Jesse. Remove the H from Heisenberg and you are left with Eisenberg. Jesse Eisenberg. Cool coincidence, really
I love the Ultimate Edition. That added footage makes a difference. I had some of the same problems with the film as you did. For example: Framing Superman didn't make much sense in the theatrical cut. Using the flamethrowers though makes more sense though because you could blame it on his heat vision, and it adds to the scene that happens later when Batman saves Martha by blowing up KGBeast's flamethrower. It's totally a more cohesive film. The only way the theatrical cut can be watched is with the help of Rifftrax.
It never will be, unfortinately. For whatever reason they NEVER have the "Director's Cut" version of films ie. The Abyss, Watchmen, Kingdom of Heaven, Aliens, etc. etc.
I think we've become more accepting of BVS is because we all had preconceived notions of what it should have been. Now that it's years later we're more accepting of it.
@@Deadpool-yn9mg I enjoyed BvS for what it was...a superhero movie with iconic characters!!! Was it great? No, but it was fun. I feel it gets unfair criticism, and I feel the same with Justice League!
I too only saw the longer cut. When I found out the differences I thought, "yeah, that was terrible". Still wasn't a fan of the movie though and now I'm preparing to get called a "Marvel Fan Boy" when I probably won't like the Snyder Cut of JL.
Batman wearing a bat costume is a superhero trope not evidence that he is insane. Are you a psychologist?? Bruce Wayne didn’t decide to walk-or swoop-around the streets of Gotham in a bat costume because he actually thought he was a bat. Wayne started dressing as Batman because he had a specific purpose in mind: to disguise his identity when he fought criminals. Sounds like a good idea to me, and one that is used by military personnel when necessary (though not the bat part). Wayne also wanted his disguise to serve another function: to evoke fear in criminals.
Nope, a fan edit called "Batman v Superman: No Justice " is best, it's only about the conflict between Bats and Sups. Wonder Women, Doomsday and anything related to Justice League are cut.
Trisolaris I need to watch this version because WW, Doomsday and Lex are really the worst parts but now it just sounds like you are describing The Dark Knight Returns which gave a much better reason why Batman and Superman would fight in the first place. Synder just wanted a darker and older Batman instead of thinking how it would make sense plot wise.
If you could post pictures on UA-cam, it would be so scuffed. Would just be spam of cancer, terrible memes and loads of NSFW content. No doubt a 13 year old will post a dick pick on a teenage girls make up tutorial or something. Granted a gif feature would be much appreciated
One of the things I noticed is the fact that Snyder, whenever he makes a superhero flick, takes a lot of time establishing the story and the characters. Not that there's anything wrong with that but the studios think from a financial standpoint that no one would want to sit for more than 3 hrs. This case is different with justice league but if he hadn't left the project, the studio still wouldve cut down lots of stuff as now we know, his version is 4 hrs long .
When BvS came out in 2016 I had mostly checked out of CBMs because I was tired of the more comedic direction they were taking. Heard the negative reviews and didn’t check it out in theaters. When the ultimate edition came out on home release I finally gave it a chance and absolutely loved it. Quite possibly my favourite CBM of all time. Never understood the negativity, but then again my first impression with the ultimate edition. Fantastic movie for adult CBM fans. Not necessarily the kind of thing you take little kids to, but there’s a market for adult oriented CBMs as well. Hopefully HBO max is the right place for that type of content to continue.
@@Ukaran That's the genius of Snyder's arc for Batman. BvS was his redemption story. He projected his flaw of becoming the worst version of himself onto Superman, Lex making it easier for Batman to do that by framing Superman with crimes against humanity (Capitol explosion and African village massacre). At Superman's funeral, Bruce says to Diana, "I failed him in his life. i won't fail him in his death." The Batman in Justice League will be the pragmatic, patient, tactical genius from his earlier years :)
@@BabyYodie And that would be fine and dandy, if BvS wasn't only the SECOND movie in the franchise, and didn't INTRODUCE Batman into the story. You don't introduce an iconic and beloved character into a story, by making him/her act completely different from what people expect.
What was cut out was the “S” of BvS. Which was an odd decision since this was to be a Man of Steel sequel with a side of Batman, not Batman’s reboot movie. The movie edit only begins to make some sense once the ratios resemble the 50/50 split advertised in the movie title.
They kept Lois though which made no sense, I think it would have made more sense if they clipped Lois and focused on Clark while still showing the bodies being burned by KGBeast and implying that Lois was doing a story on the cover up.
I think the ultimate edition largely improves the first 2 acts of the film. The third act is still a mess with doomsday, but the film is still improved overall
I completely agree with this. I will always hate the ending. Hated them rushing Doomsday and prematurely killing Superman, but the film overall I enjoy.
I actually like the truncated story arc Snyder was going for. My biggest gripe with Marvel is that they release too many stand-alone films. 80% of them feel like complete filler to me. Also Infinity War > Endgame
@@sm4carnageihope The real doomsday is somewhere in the dcu universe. The one seen in the movie was a bargain version of the OG which is in space somewhere.
It’s not really Doomsday, though, is it? I’m no huge expert, but this creature is Lex taking Zod’s body and using the Kryptonian ship to turn it into a copy of Doomsday.
I loved this movie already but the Ultimate Edition is better. I recently watched the animated Dark Knight Returns and then this and was blown away even more by how much Snyder took from it.
I LOVE the final interaction between Batman and Lex. Lex: “this is how it all CAVES in... civilization on the wane/WAYNE... manners/MANOR out the window..” and then Batman retorts by telling Lex he’s sending him to Arkham asylum 😳
I thought the interaction with the senator about gods falling from the sky and whatnot was also outstanding. Jessie's portrayal may have been all over the place, but when he hit, it was really good.
I’m one of the rare people who actually liked eisenberg, but after watching supergirl season four I think cryer would have been a huge upgrade ( especially if he played him the same way he did in supergirl)
I really enjoy the ultimate cut of BvS despite hating the theatrical cut for feeling incomplete, and I’m really looking forward to Zack Snyder’s Justice League... even if it’s just to get the Justice League film that I originally paid for. (By the way, loving the Road Warrior look, Jeremy!)
I never watched the theatrical version but when it came out on BluRay I watched this version straight away and was completely confused on why people hated it! Then years later I watched the theatrical cut I was like... okay, that’s why. This version of BVS is much much better
This movie is still a pile of shit trying to setup so many other movies at the cost of the movie itself. The ultimate edition doesn't really fix anything.
The movie actually revealed much darker side of humanity (though Superman was not human, lol). It showed the world, how desperate men can be when the situation is against them. I really sometimes feel this for real. I'm from India, and it is no surprise that people here still believe in castism. There are several religious stereotype. What our government does, make different communities fight against one another, making big issues out of small things, media shows the same crap in the entire country, which in turn raises rage amongst other part of the country too. Govt. does all this shit just to deviate focus of the citizen from real issues like economy and hunger. PS: Corona virus pandemic was related with religion at first; yeah, it's true. Edit: Thank you guys for understanding what I'm trying to convey, and supporting me for the same. Love you guys and once again, thank you very much.
Spot on brother. Agree a 100%. About the movie and the state of our country right now. And it’s equally sad that we have people of different nationalities claiming it’s not so different for them as well. It’s like Zack Snyder knew...
There are two definitive ways to experience BvS. The Ultimate Edition or the fan cut called "No Justice". No Justice uses the Ultimate Edition as the source, but trims the runtime to exactly 2 hours by strictly keeping the story on the Dark Knight Returns component (and dumping the Death of Superman component). In No Justice, there is no Wonder Woman, no Doomsday, no Justice League cinematic universe filler, and Bruce Wayne is your main character. I like both takes.
Yeah, Ultimate Edition was a hell of a lot better. Watching it just made me sad that the studio buried this. I love DC, all they needed to do was not butcher it for me to be happy. Sigh.
To be fair, I don't think they believed that audiences would want to sit through a 3 hour movie, seeing how lots weren't already on board with Man of Steel. It's like if they released Lord of the Rings director cut instead, would they have confident that the average movie goer would be willing to deviate nearly 3.5 hours in the theater. Long movies kinda have to be earned.
@@christiansanchez2088 That's true - but then the film has to be shot with that time budget in mind. It seems pretty clear this was supposed to fill the 3 hour slot until someone changed their mind. LotR was shot with their 3 hour limit in mind, and they had some extra scenes filmed to play with in editing. The Two Towers is the only one that seems to suffer a bit because of actual substantial cuts within sequences as opposed to self-contained scenes being withheld. Return of the King misses out on the conclusion of Sauruman's arc, but is otherwise fairly whole without the additional content. Batman v Superman ended up being a colossal mess because of how they had to butcher it in the editing room. It's a far worse film than it would have been if it was simply planned and shot around the right length. Hell, look at all the material Snyder had on top of that. It was definitely supposed to take the longer slot at movie theatres right up until they got to editing.
I was unphased. It is a better movie, but you still have a terrible mashup of comic book ideas that shouldn’t be together. Take out doomsday. That storyline should never have intersected with the stand-off between batman and Superman. Make it a little more cheesy and have them team up to arrest Lex Luthor to show each other that they can embrace the rule of law. Batman brings the gadgets, Superman brings the brawn. Or you could just kill two stories at once and fuck up Doomsday and the Superman v Batman standoff.
Box office greed from WB is what ruined the dc universe which stats wise was financialy more successful after 4 films than the mcu after 4 films and they didn't build on that they wanted to copy marvel and we saw the outcome of that
I love how when it comes to alot of superhero films the directors cut is usually better. both BVS ultimate edition (text looks like it belongs on an Injustice cover) The other was Watchmen.
The theatrical cut literally made so little sense, i did not like it when i saw it. But years later, after being a little bit stubborn, i finally watched the ultimate edition, and it is now one of my favorite superhero films. I can n to wait for the Snyder cut!
Warner Bros. was just so scared of releasing a 3 hour long movie, such a dumb move, everybody would've seen it anyway! as we all saw Endgame, regardless of its runtime.
Endgame could have been 4hr long and everyone would have watched it bvs nah...You have to consider an average movie goer...Not the nerds...They are not as interested or invested in the dceu ...Endgame was an end to long list of movies....
It's most likely Snyder's fault. If his contract mention how long the movie should be, then he should make it good in that duration. Other dceu movies can be good without extended edition. Lotr theatrical version is still good although extended version is better.

Crazy how much context they really cut out
7/10 due to Jesse Eisenburg and Martha scene 😆
@@camerapunk4109 I don't see anything wrong with them. Can you explain to me why you don't like them?

InshalMusic Tell that to Endgame lol
Gonna sound like a snobby asshole but I don't like most TV shows because they feel bloated with lots of filler on a smaller budget whereas movies get to the point with a higher production value. Also TV shows seem like a way for new actors to raise their profile but with that comes tons of overacting whereas big movie stars have already made it and performances seem less forced. Not saying TV shows can't be good but I really struggle to engage with them, I'd rather binge video games.

Like Christian Bale said in Batman Begins, A guy who dresses up like a bat clearly has issues.
And like Aquaman once said, Dressed like a bat. I dig it.

One of the things I noticed is the fact that Snyder, whenever he makes a superhero flick, takes a lot of time establishing the story and the characters.

Instead of the pragmatic, patient, and tactical genius, that Batman has always been.
@@BabyYodie
And that would be fine and dandy, if BvS wasn't only the SECOND movie in the franchise, and didn't INTRODUCE Batman into the story.
Yeah they cut Clark Kent out of the Movie and Clark is Superman's Heart.
They kept Lois though which made no sense, I think it would have made more sense if they clipped Lois and focused on Clark while still showing the bodies being burned by KGBeast and implying that Lois was doing a story on the cover up.

I've restarted that game enough to remember
The doomsday part still sucks terribly. But the ultimate definitely makes up for the beginning.
Yeah, I always wondered what the hell he was talking about until I seen it with subtitles lol it’s great
craig o'donnell
Just a clever way for Lex to reveal that he knows who’s underneath the cowl
The movie had layers under layers.. One really needed to unravel alot..
It wasn’t perfect but the narrative makes much more sense in the extended cut
It still sucks though
I really enjoy the ultimate cut of BvS despite hating the theatrical cut for feeling incomplete, and I’m really looking forward to Zack Snyder’s Justice League... even if it’s just to get the Justice League film that I originally paid for. (By the way, loving the Road Warrior look, Jeremy!)
Yeah I'm in the same boat with BvS. I absolutely despised the theatrical cut. I thought the the Ultimate Edition was a decent movie.
I’ve only seen this edition. Always liked it.
Same. I watched the UE 6 times in a month
Exactly. This was the only version I saw and I didn't get the absolute hate for this movie. I do agree it's not great but it's not dogshit.

This movie is still a pile of shit trying to setup so many other movies at the cost of the movie itself. The ultimate edition doesn't really fix anything.
@@okagron Incorrect, movie is that good, truly underrated
@@okagron Wrong
It's insane that WB removed so much critical content from BvS to maximise the number of showings. Ultimate Cut is amazing and so rewarding to rewatch.
okagron disagree

Then go out and talk to people. Stop watching the news.
Spot on brother. Agree a 100%. About the movie and the state of our country right now. And it’s equally sad that we have people of different nationalities claiming it’s not so different for them as well. It’s like Zack Snyder knew...

WB : 3 hours is too longer.

Always wished to see this version on Big screen. Never watched directors cut of Watchmen but hear it's excellent too.
The only edition i can watch now, its amazing
The directors cut of Watchmen is amazing, but i already loved the theatrical cut.
Yeah you should see it.
The Director's Cut of "Daredevil" was rated R, had more than 30 minutes of additional material, and it was MUCH better than the theatrical version.
Box office greed from WB is what ruined the dc universe which stats wise was financialy more successful after 4 films than the mcu after 4 films and they didn't build on that they wanted to copy marvel and we saw the outcome of that
@@christiansanchez2088 I hated BVS and I really really enjoyed the Ultimate cut

@@myslead It's amazing what you can do when your overheads are low enough that the studio doesn't bother you.

WB needs leave Zack Snyder alone and let him share his movies with his fans.
Legend of the Guardians is Zack Snyder?
Well I guess I like a Snyder movie that isn't Watchmen, then.
I'm always initially confused when people call Guardians of Ga'Hoole "Legend of the Guardians." It's just such a better title in comparison, plus it's what the books are called... Anyway, I do love the movie, and didn't know it was Snyder. By genre it's against type, but he did a great job.
