Cap: “you got a hair cut!” Thor: “I see you copied my beard” That whole like 3 minutes with them including Thor saying groot is his “friend the tree” lol best part
And Peter would add “I’m sorry...coz they’ll be doing awful iterations of me again. Who knows if I get to reprise my role! I mean you guys were very nice to me even if was such a loudmouth!” Then fades to ashes, oh how cruel fate is.
Well actually the first Avengers they avenged that one agent guy. Loki killed (stabbed) his death actually made the Avengers get along to beat Loki. But yes part 2 they will avenge again
Michael John yeah you can say that he's Top 3 now. After he cut his hair & throw out that weird yellowish eyebrows of him . He seems to get more charismatic aura after that. Lol
I did enjoy the final line after the credits "Thanos will return" instead of their classic " The Avengers will return in *insert movie title". Really loved that.
Thor was easily the best character in the entire film. The part where he implaes Thanos with the stormbreaker and tell him "I told you, you die for that" was beyond badass.
I really didn't see it as a relation for ED. For me, I see the Hulk, who has always been the baddest MFer around and who finally punched something that punched back harder than him...that he couldn't bully around or overpower. It scared him, and I think it's something that Banner will have to deal with in the next movie and hopefully get courage back into the Hulk's Psyche again.
NoVa I absolutely agree with you! Why, doesn't anyone else get it? Thanos, power was so overwhelming that the Hulk couldn't handle it. We've never seen that. And no crit has even pointed that out. Thanos was that terrifying to the Hulk. That's a huge take away in the opening scene.
If we're gonna poke holes. Couldn't Scarlet Witch just make all the enemies' heads do a 360 and snap some necks including Thanos? Vision seemed a little down powered while Black Widow seemed to be Cap's Equal.
Loki and Spider-Man’s death messed me up man. Thor losing basically his entire family/people and Tony losing his unofficial son is too much to handle. Loki finally accepted himself as Odin’s son and showed that he cared about Thor and then just had to go and die. Plus the fact that Peter’s spider sense probably heightened the entire experience of dying.....ugh marvel/Disney how HECKING dare you lol....
That's possible, but I think people want to consider that as the reason he got such a long dusting scene more than it was actually intentionally a spider-sense thing. Again though, very viable theory that it had something to do with his Spider-Sense
Agreed. Though I loved how the movie then instantly cut back to Shuri to show the sneak assault to get to Vision behind the front, thereby answering Okoye's question.
True. Why no one is talking about that? So,she's more powerful than all six stones? Her powers are combination of the Teseract and the Mind stone.Interesting.
E X A C T L Y !!!! Sister was literally killing her boyfriend, having an emotional breakdown, and holding back the most powerful person in the universe at the SAME TIME !!! We love one (1) woman
IMO, Gamora’s death was tragic because her relationship with Thanos feels real. Thanos was incredibly abusive towards Gamora, and Gamora hated him her whole life (even if there was some sort of Stockholm syndrome element to this hatred). Gamora was so confident that her abuser her couldn’t possibly love her- how could somebody who loved her inflict so much pain upon her? For me, watching her realise that Thanos did actually love her in his own toxic, fucked up way was so heartbreaking because she understood just before she died that the one person who had hurt her the most had no idea how his abuse had impacted her. The revelation also emphasises how fucked Thanos’ moral compass is- he could torture a child for years but be totally remorseless because he didn’t think he was doing anything wrong. That dynamic mirrors actual abuse and toxic relationships so perfectly, and in my opinion that’s what gives Gamora’s death gravity, not that it made her boyfriend feel sad.
Megan I didn’t see how he cared about her at all so that whole scene made no impact on me at all. I did laugh at the position Gamora was in when she landed tho, so that’s a positive.
Two scenes really clue you in on it - his initial sparing of her on her home planet as a child, and the scene where he laments that he'd always wanted to see her take his throne. In his mind, everything he'd done for Gamora was in service to preparing her for leadership, akin to the old "Spartan Way" of things. It doesn't make it less fucked up, but it's just blue and orange morality. It's very much in keeping with his views on the burdens of leadership, as well, which is something he does NOT take lightly.
Seeing Spider-Man fade away was so hard to watch. "I don't wanna go, please don't make me go" is such a child/teenagers response to death/change and being a teenager myself, it really hit me where it hurts. That simple denial, I could honestly relate and I understood the pain he was feeling. Just because he's an Avenger doesn't mean he has the mentality of a wise adult, he's still a kid and is still frightened by the uncertainty of his future. Top notch acting from Tom Holland Gamora was just....I felt for her. She wanted to die on her own terms by someone she loved before Thanos could use her for his own gains, and was instead used by him and died assisting him in gaining a stone, the very thing she didn't want to happen. I really enjoyed this movie, it has faults yes but it's been a ten year build up and I'm so excited for part two :D
Is no one going to talk about scarlet witchs death? The way her eyes just went up back to her head and her crying at the same time while holding vision. That one hit me the most. And also where is valkyrie is she dead?
I feel like the reason, the Hulk didnt come out was the Hulk being scared. He has never been beaten so badly. Thanos just demolished him with no effort at all. Loved that scene by the way. It sure would add some depth to the Hulk
Justdontbeasquare completely agree. But I am kinda bummed that we didn't get that shot from the trailer in the movie. The one with the hulk and the rest of the avengers in wakanda running towards the fight
Justdontbeasquare The MCU has made the hulk a bitch honestly. He’s literally one of the strongest beings and and they nerfed him bad. first hulk gets wrecked by the hulk buster and now he’s scared to come out of dr banner after getting his ass handed to him by thanos. Reminded me of Spider-Man 2 and iron man 3 with their lame performance issues.
Justdontbeasquare Also in Thor 3 hulk told Thor that “I stay Earth hates Hulk” maybe since he was on earth again he didn’t want to fight again because he thinks that he will cause more harm to people
You can see their ship being approached by Thanos's ship in Ragnorak's post credit scene. Thanos probably attacked it cause he tracked the tesseract, so it was all Loki's fault.
Man, I hope so. Hulk hasn't had a win since Loki. Bunch of aliens with guns mowed him down in Avengers, Hulkbuster smashed him in Age of Ultron, couldn't beat Thor without cheating in Ragnarok, basically beat Fenris on a ringout technicality in Ragnarok, giant fire monster slapped him away like nothing in Ragnarok, and you saw what Thanos did to him. I don't know why they are disrespecting him so much.
Was ant-man in the movie bcoz i didn't saw him ,there was only one reference to ant-man.....would antman and wasp take place before or after infinity war
I’ve noticed that not many people are talking about Rocket Raccoon. I mean, almost all his life he’s known nothing but torment and pain until he met the Guardians and they became his only family. Now that they’re gone (not yet considering the fact that some will come back) he has nothing. Imagine the psychological damage. I just wanna give the little guy a hug.
seppe vervloet yeah but if he did,he would've not said those words cause Thanos would not be alive to hear them. Actually he should've gone for the hand.
CJ Phoenix Hulk never got knocked out the way he was in this though, even in AOU he got knocked out because he got distracted, in this Thanos just beat the shit out of him
CJ Phoenix if the hulkbuster can do that against the hulk, then i understand Thanos can bitch slap the hulk like he did in the movie, Thanos used skills and strength against the hulk he had no chance.
Hulk’s only serious fight was Abomination and Abomination did NOT fight like that. They were equally feral but Thanos turned methodical and tactical in his fighting. Makes sense he’d shake Hulk up. Furthermore in current continuity, Thanos was always stronger than Hulk even against Planet Breaker.
I really don’t see why so many people have a problem with Hulk refusing to come out in this film after getting absolutely obliterated by Thanos. As much as I like to see Hulk, well, do Hulk things, I enjoyed seeing how his psyche was damaged. You all have to understand, Hulks entire identity, all of who he is has been based on being “the strongest there is”. After being beaten into submission as if he were a weak child, Hulk has lost his sense of purpose and his confidence, his ego was crushed by Thanos, who destroyed him without even using a stone. That, combined with the knowledge of Banner knowing that Thanos was only growing more powerful with time, made Hulk feel powerless for the first time. Hulk will have his redemption in the next movie, everyone just needs patience.
It didn't matter to me. Banner was still fairly powerful in the suit and Thanos would have kept Thanos-smashing him as Hulk until it got really repetitive and boring. Hulk is only exciting to watch in small doses when he has the size advantage, so it makes sense for him to be sidelined here.
I think it's a set-up for an awesome Hulk reveal in the next Avengers movie. Just like how we finally got the Thor we all wanted in this movie, we will get an unleashed Hulk tearing everything up in the next, maybe something that Hulk was afraid of becoming.
No Hulk's character originally, doesn't know when to stop. thats the beauty of hulk, he is not so rational and has the mental capacity of a caveman who can identify friends, after a loooong time. They keep rewriting his character to fit narratives and they just use him as a plot device which pisses me the fuck off. no doubt what they did has reason and comedy behind it. nevertheless, it still doesn't change the fact that just like half the avengers and thanos, he has also been nerfed. oh, Ofcourse they will buff Tony Stark... doing the most in the world is where i call BS.
Vision was the most undermined character, in terms of raw power and actual utility, in this entire film. You mean to tell me that an individual composed of a body, meant by the Avengers' previous adversary, Ultron, as his ULTIMATE form (And recall Ultron was able to get his hands on practically all of the best material available on earth to construct this body), paired along with an INFINITY STONE, was unable to defend himself against opponents lacking any apparent magical feats relative to the Infinity Stones (The elf dude and the horned chick) while the HUMANS were able to beat them. Even BLACK FUCKING WIDOW, not even an augmented human like Captain America or Bucky/Winter Soldier, was able to be more effective than Vision was. Vision should have been a monster on the battle field. His mind is composed of the literal, physical, universal manifestation of THE MIND, while his form is an unfeeling (Ideally, of course) mechanical superpower. Vision's reflexes would be on point, his abilities with the INFINITY STONE to manipulate the minds (Recall Loki used it to mind control one of the Avengers, Hawkeye) of his opponents being IMMENSE. But no, all he can manage is a beam of laser so pitiful EVERYONE CAN DEFLECT AND/OR TANK IT. Fucking hell man, all I wanted was my robot x scarlet ship.
Mob Destroyer I hear what your saying but they stabbed him from behind when he wasn’t looking and that wounded him bad and made him weak and every time they would try to fix or heal him they would hurt him again so he didn’t have an opportunity to really show his full potential
Mob Destroyer Hey man. I know its a late reply, but i wanted to help explain why Vision got so fucked up. The staff used to fuck him up right from the git go has a very powerful enchantment. Its supposed to make the person wielding it able to cut through ANYTHING, make them unkillable, and severely decommission whatever is struck. In this sense, it makes sense vision could not heal his wounds quick and was hurt bad by it to make him suck. Not that they explained any of it in the film...
Yes I think so, he keeps his end of the deal with Strange, whic I'm guessing it's vital to reversing everything along with the quantum realm antics ant man and captain marvel will bring to the table. Like Jeremy points out, that had to be the one outcome Strange saw that ends with them winning. That's the endgame. It's not over, but this has to happen for them to win eventually. It's really like an "i've come to bargain" moment.
Nathan S But we would know that he died because he started turning to Ash when he said it, they should have shown the full scene cuz what's the point of keeping it a mystery if he died or not??
To be fair, Thanos performed the final act of wiping out half of the universe in the most fair way possible for that situation. Wiping out half, but making it random, so every single being has a 50/50 chance of survival, no preferences based on wealth, power or anything like that. About as fair as one can be when performing universe-scale genocide haha. Definitely my favourite villain and one of my favourite movies now.
I think the theme for this movie was sacrifice. Starlord sacrifices Gamora Thanos Sacrifices Gamora Scarlet Witch sacrifices Vision Dr Strange sacrifices the time stone. Thanos sacrifices half the universe. Even Cap says we don’t trade lives. Probably a few more I’m missing. This movies is amazing!
Starlord doesn’t sacrifice Gamora, Dr strange doesn’t “sacrifice” the stone, and Thanos doesn’t sacrifice half the universe, it was his goal.. it was a culling..
A couple things: Thanos doesn't seem to want to kill people. He only kills when he's betrayed or it's necessary, mostly because he doesn't want to be the one to choose who lives or dies. He leaves that to the randomness of the stones killing half the universe. Second, I think, even though it's not said in the movies, Thor is specially powerful now because Odin is dead and he has some kind of Odinforce in him. Odin was super-powerful in the comics and Thor with the Odinforce was even more powerful than him, so it could make sense.
92brunod If he didn’t want to kill people he wouldn’t have killed half of all people everywhere for completely arbitrary reasons. His mission isn’t necessary.
92brunod Thanos has personally killed thousands of people. He loves choosing who lives and who dies. His reasons are completely arbitrary. Why exactly half the population? Why not a third, or three quarters? What about all the people who die in the aftermath? What happens when the population naturally replenishes itself some time in the future? It’s all really transparent bullshit undone by the most basic of questions.
Demagogue the film explains that he kills half the population every where he goes because he want to save the other half. He just wanted the stones to accomplish his goals faster. You also see in flashback he didn’t care which half dies, in his mind every one is dead like what happened on his planet if he didn’t do this.
+sabdude 63 Yes, I know that is what is explicitly stated by Thanos. I'm telling you that it doesn't make sense. It's an excuse. Thanos is sympathetic, but wrong.
Thanos is the MCU's best villain. Yes, he's the hero in his own story, but even though he wants mass genocide throughout the universe, he has a weird moral code. He put *Drax back together, he tells Starlord "I like you" when he sees he was willing to kill his girlfriend, he tells Tony he hopes everyone remembers him after he died...I found him fascinating. And I can't wait to see what happens in "Part 2" because we're left with the original Avengers. (I am not going to emotionally be able to say goodbye to Steve Rogers. I'm just not.) Shout out to the Russo brothers. They did a great job. And the humor really landed in this film, which I really appreciated. "Sweet Rabbit" is how I will refer to Rocket..."I'm Peter." "I'm Dr. Strange." "Oh, we're using fake names. I'm Spiderman."..."I am Groot." "I am Steve Rogers."... "New haircut?" "I see you've copied my beard."... Starlord's insecurity around Thor. Just some really solid moments to defuse the intensity.
+Benjamin Leonard -- Yes, I know. In my hurry to get my thoughts and feelings out through furious typing, I can see how my choice of sentence structure would look as though I was giving credit to the Russos for the humor in the script. However, that's not the case. The Russo brothers did a great job, as usual, directing. In a separate thought about the film, the humor in the script was fabulous. :)
Yes Jeremy, half of the ENTIRE universe’s population was wiped out. Seeing Winter Solider, Black Panther and the others vanishing was hard to watch, but Spider-Man saying “I don’t wanna go.” and “I’m sorry” and then vanishing, I felt it and felt it hard. Spider-Man was my first superhero. How the hell are we gonna fix this. I agrees this must have been part of Dr. Strange’s plan, but still. Also the woman was Maria Hill.
Jonathan Shaw spidey was my favourite superhero since i was 3. I also started collecting comic books with him. Furthermore Spidey is the only super hero where i to date own every Single copy ever published. I got to admit though: i didn't feel it. Now let me explain. We already know that spider man 2 got green light and that they will start filming in july. They also said it will be after iw and again with Tom Holland in the lead. Similar to black Panther 2. That means that they probably gonna revive every super hero that died through thanos in the end... Which downgraded that death because it was irrelevant. Without that knowledge i would have cried my eyes out! Like this it was kinda bullshit and took some of the "oh god no!" effect from the ending away though.
@@willinton06 A star is wayy hotter than a nuke, the deeper you go the hotter it get's. Millions of times hotter if you go deep enough so yeah. Also you won't respond to this since it's legit a year old comment but lol.
It's moments like that when you can see he is still the Thor from Ragnarok, he's just dealing with so much shit that he is being a bit more serious. I and many others were afraid he was just going to completely revert back to his former self, who was pretty boring to be honest.
Well, they can't make it too easy for the Avengers. That'd be like the ultimate cheat code. The only one even more unfair than Peter would be Squirrel Girl.
I verbally said "Fuck" during the post credits when they showed Carol's emblem. Props to Marvel for making such a good story that's very non formulaic. Worth waiting for 10 years. :")
Imagine there was no end credit scene and it just said "this is the end of the MCU thank you for being a part of the journey" and all these other *planned* movies were just the ultimate hoax
tom cundell they have been to successfully to suddenly stop but i reckon another like 4 films and then it ends with a massive movie (idk how it could be bigger then infinity war lol) would just be awesome but also really sad at the same time
When surprise Peter Dinklage, and Red Skull showed up, I lost it. I also have a theory that most of the surviving Avengers will die in order to bring back the ones that faded away. Also best lines: "I AM GROOT" I am Steve Rogers Starlord: "Where" is Gamora? Iron Man: I'll do you one better, "Who" is Gamora. Drax: I'll do you one better, "Why" is Gamora? Drax: DIE BLANKET OF DEATH. Drax: You're a "dude" this is a "man". Mantis: Kick names, and take ass. Iron Man: It means go home Squidward.
I loved the bit where Hawkeye came out from hiding and told Tony "it's not about what killing what you hate, but saving what you love" with Thanos and Tony sharing a kiss next to the ThanosCopter
Jeremy Munene This was my favorite part of the movie. Thanos didn't want to wipe out half the universe, but he thought it was the right thing to do so he had to.
Tony Stark is that guy. I said it before the Avengers would be nothing without him. This guy lasted a whole 5mins more with Thanos than Hulk. That suit was so damn good. The guy is the real leader of the team.
Stark as well as Strange and Spiderman and the Gaurdians lasted as long as they did because of plot armor fandom popularity and the fact that they had Thanos holding back He had the power stone, which was shown to be able to decimate entire planets. He had the soul stone, which allows you to steal and manipualte the souls of other people He had the reality stone, which literally allows you to rewrite the laws of physics and transmute matter And of course the space stone which allows you to wrap the fabric of space anyway you see fit. He could have ripped Starks soul out in a fraction of a nano second. That armor isn't durable enough to survive an energy out put that can crush a planet The reality stone could have turned the entire suit into a puddle of goo And he could have used the space stone to teleport him into a sun. There's literally no reason Stark lasted except for plot armor and Thanos holding back with the stones, the character isn't literally that powerful
Did anyone find it slightly funny when red skull told thanos to sacrifice Gamora: ha don't love anyone you're finished Thanos turns around and looks at her Red skull: OH seifield theme plays
Everybody was hating on Starlord for ruining the plan but I think that was still part of Dr. Strange's plan. He used the Eye of Agamoto/time stone to see the different scenarios on how things would play out. And as Strange withered into nothingness, he said "there was no other way".
Everyone hating on just starlord is kind of dumb since Gamora is also at fault for giving into revealing the Soul Stone to save Nebula desite knowing the risk to the entire universe. Cap and Wanda should have killed Vision to destroy the stone earlier. Loki if he didn't care for his people or Thor could have gotten away via Tesseract before or during the assault on the Asagardian refugee ship. Then yeah Strange saw all possible outcomes. If Starlord waking Thanos isn't part of the winning/surviving scenario, he could have just used the time stone to pause star lord's time individually if he wanted. But he didn't. I'm sure in some of the other futures they did take off the gauntlet, but then Thanos can get it back or starts to kill some of them, and one of them gets desperate enough to use the gauntlet only to screw it up and go mad with power or die, then Thanos still gets the gauntlet and goes about the rest of his day.
yeah, after starlord ruing the universe for everyone, a minute longer and he could have done what he wanted to Thanos, dude messed up and wiped out half the galaxy.
By the end of Guardians 2, which is a full 4 years before infinity war, Gamora officially falls in love with Peter Quill. So of course in those 4 years her love for him, and his love for her would progress. Also Gamora's last words to Peter were, "I love you more than anything" to which Star-Lord had the obvious reply. But because of that line, her death made me feel the Guardians angle as her love with Quill but also Thanos' only true love angle. Both of those angles impacted the death deeply
Love this movie SO much! SpiderMan saying "I don't want to go Mr Stark!" absolutely broke my heart! 😢 it is just amazing, funny, action-packed and upsetting, very very good! 10/10
Noo, they already knew he was gonna go, it was all part of dr.strange plan, that way right at the last minute he changed to a serious face like he knew stark was gonna save him
bloodsoldierZ considering that everyone seems to agree that everyone disappears at random, there’s bound to be young humans still alive without parents
+Bob Didlboc and there's bound to be elderlies without a caretaker, patients without a doctor, burning buildings without a fireman, vehicle accidents without a traffic signal technician, etc.
Dr strange predicted that the only outcome of winning was 1 in 14 mil. Giving the stone must be part of the 1 possibility of winning In the end. Remember that
cr4zym3x1c4n It’s weird to think about because if he gave thanos the Stone in one of the scenarios he would have no way to know if he would get it back and even be able to go back in time to let them know
exactly, his last word to Stark was "There was no other way" meaning that all of the outcomes he had seen, Tony Stark life was more important than the stone because Tony may be one of the Key to defeat Thanos, that is why Dr.Strange said "We're at the end game now" which is a gamble.
Just imagine if Marvel didn't have announced that the next Avenger would be part 2 of this one.....HOLY SHIT the impact of that ending would be so much more powerful....
Vincent Warrican yep. Because if they hadn’t already announced sequels to Spider-Man and Guardians of the Galaxy, I might actually believe some of these characters were dead
Yeah, this would mean a lot more if we didn't know that Avengers 4 will essentially be Infinity War Part 2 (even if it's not called that), or that Spider-Man 2 was coming, or that Guardians 3 was coming, or if Black Panther hadn't made a f***ton of money and will inevitably get 2 sequels. That does tend to minimize all the post-snap deaths. And I'm not even sold that Gamora is dead either. It's a comic book movie. The rules are malleable. Anyone can come back.
I don't think anyone who died to the finger snap is permanently dead. I know in the comics the Soul Stone had some manner of like, 'soul realm' where those killed by it went (in the film I believe it's that orange tinted ocean realm where Thanos saw child Gamora once he snapped his fingers). I believe in the second movie it'll be about the old crew (who, beyond Rocket Raccoon, suspiciously are all the actors who have contracts expiring...) finding a way to reverse what he did and save those around. I think also we'll see more permanent deaths in there, considering all things. Still, I fucking loved this movie -- the fact there was this somber silence at the end, rather than triumph and cheer, spoke volumes of how well this movie hit home. It really was the story of Thanos. Also, in regards to power, Thor did literally taking a dying star to the chest -- and if you think he's strong, apparently according to Kevin Feige Captain Marvel is the strongest of the MCU, meaning she surpasses or at the very least rivals Thor and The Hulk.
You're right- the Soul Gem contains an entire world unto itself. (Fun fact: in the Infinity Gauntlet story, this was where Adam Warlock was first discovered.)
That's what I thought. So that must mean Gamora is in the soul Stone too and Thanos is also "dead". And that Loki and Heimdall are the only permanent deaths.
In most incarnations Captain Marvel is the strongest avenger save for Hulk, and she and Thor are the only two capable of fighting Hulk on his level. Here however, Hulk seems like he's the weaker of the three.
My theory was an extension of this, in that the avengers that survived IW (stark, thor, cap, hulk, black widow, Rhodey, possibly Hawkeye, possibly nebula) will somehow have to give their lives to reverse the events of IW and bring everyone else back. Although I assume captain marvel will not only play a big part in avengers 4, but will also survive, so I don't know how this theory holds up
Don't forget that Spider-Man, Black Panther, Guardians and Doctor Strange are getting sequels. They were announced a while back. I wish they didn't because if we didn't know this those deaths would be way more impactful.
it was stll imapctful either way... and also it was quite obvious that they are making sequels for those movies. they had just made spiderman, doctor strange, and black panther.. THERE IS NO WAAAAY that they just killed them off like that instantly.
yea, that's exactly what i thought. i was in tears are spider-man 'faded away' but thought there's a number 2 next year, nah he's good. i would have made it so much stronger of a scene if we didn't know.
I actually didn't know about the sequels until I read your comment but I still knew those deaths aren't permanent, so it really doesn't make much of a difference.
Thanos didn’t get to pick who died. One of his main philosophies is that he wanted it to be random, fair to everybody. I actually believe that Thanos didn’t want to kill if he didn’t have to.There were multiple times where he could’ve just killed Avengers but he didn’t, he could’ve disintegrated all of them, but he didn’t. He only killed when necessary I feel.
Chris well depending on if they explain thanos childhood he was a psychopath who kidnapped people and murdered them at least in the comics. That's what he did on his home planet for fun. So depending on if they go there I don't necessarily agree with your statement.
Javier Logan definitely, but i don’t think they will. His main motivation in the comics for getting the gems was to impress Death, but here he just wanted to balance the universe. I feel like they’re departing from the comics, but if they do stick with his backstory, my comment is completely invalid and that’ll retroactively open up some plotholes lmao
Chris it would be weird wouldn't it? Someone filled with a past of mercilessly killing becomes one of the most powerful beings in the universe and all if a sudden grows a conscious. Lmao
Javier Logan The writers stated that they were going to make up a new storyline for Thanos that actually gives him a conscious. They are ignoring the death crazed Thanos from the comics. That explains his backstory and dialogue in the movie.
The way I see it, most of the characters who disappeared from the snap, will return, particularly Black Panther and Spider-Man. They already have confirmed sequels coming. Kevin Feige even said that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel takes place minutes after Avengers 4.
Hector Arredondo I was really hoping to see that too, but I assume that'll be addressed later. Now I just wonder whether Aunt May was one of the ones vaporized. Either way I feel really bad for her, because if she wasn't killed then she is probably absolutely freaking out.
Nguyễn Đình Quang Minh Vision is coming back black panthers sister took a copy of his brain with her when she was attacked and she want dusted away soo
Something I thought that was really interesting and poignant was the fact that Thanos won because he threw away emotion and sentimentality. At every point where the Avengers could have had the upper hand; Quill and Thanos, The avengers and Vision, Gamorra and her sister- they lost because they couldn't sacrifice their loved ones. And it is because Thanos rid himself of those tethers that he won the ultimate battle and war.
Yeah he had the actual will to act upon it all and make the toughest choice to achieve his goals, since he truly believes in how the end will save the universe. He already failed his people and they're all but extinct it seems.
It’s liked what he said to Gamora I don’t know it word for word but he stated that he had his chance but failed to act upon it so he doesn’t want to do the same mistake again. I think referring to his own kind.
Thor's axe didn't come out of nowhere, though. Thanos tried to block it with the FULLY POWERED Infinity Gauntlet and lost to the new power of Thor. That's pretty sick.
TheRiisingSun which I personally thought was dumb because even Odin with full on Odin force would struggle against a Thanos without the Infinity Gauntlet and its stones.
FatalFist Well that just means stormbreaker was definitely a very powerful weapon. I'm betting it's 10 times more poweful than mjolnir. meaning if thor encountered hela again and threw it to her she'd be annilhated.
Here's what I think. Tony already saw all the other Avengers die in a destined scenario in his mind and still feels the weight of that guilt. In Infinity War, none of the Avengers die but nearly everyone else does. Tony will eventually understand that Dr Strange 'saved' him so that he could ultimately save everyone else, break the destined 'Avengers all die' timeline by making the ultimate sacrifice, and in doing so saving himself from the ghosts of his 'legacy' as he deemed in Age of Ultron.
this is random but anyone else love the scream thanos did when they pinned him down making him powerless? like it was the perfect scream of frustration and failure
“I am Groot”
“I am Steve Rodgers”
India Siecke Wish Cap had said more in this movie
That moment was awesome
Cap: “you got a hair cut!”
Thor: “I see you copied my beard”
That whole like 3 minutes with them including Thor saying groot is his “friend the tree” lol best part
"I am inevitable"
"I am Ironman"
When Peter Parker faded away. He was saying "I don't want to go" because he didn't want to get sent back to Sony.
dm6182696 ‘Face slowly morphs into Andrew Garfield’
XD
Lmfao!! This!
I laughed too hard at this
And Peter would add “I’m sorry...coz they’ll be doing awful iterations of me again. Who knows if I get to reprise my role! I mean you guys were very nice to me even if was such a loudmouth!” Then fades to ashes, oh how cruel fate is.
I like that in part two the AVENGERS are actually gonna have to AVENGE something.
SSJBDOT good point
haaaaa
Yeah they couldn't defend the Earth, so they damn sure will avenge it.
Well actually the first Avengers they avenged that one agent guy. Loki killed (stabbed) his death actually made the Avengers get along to beat Loki. But yes part 2 they will avenge again
AVENGE US
"Thanos will return" he really was the main character of this movie.
I loved seeing that at the end
Elias Crooker Same here
Yeah, he has to return every 500 years to depopulate the universe?
So was Spiderman the main character of civil war?
+Ajax no but in Infinity War Thanos was indeed the protagonist
Thor used to be my fifth or sixth favourite avenger, but he was the best part of Infinity War.
He's my favourite avenger now.
Michael John yeah you can say that he's Top 3 now. After he cut his hair & throw out that weird yellowish eyebrows of him . He seems to get more charismatic aura after that. Lol
And the hammer... Can't forget the hammer 🔨
Michael John same tbh, that scene when he arrives in wakanda is my favorite scene this year by far
granted that's about how many avengers are left
Thor was my favorite after Ragnarok. Really found his stride there as a powerfull but funny guy. "This is my friends, tree and rabbit"
Rocket: "I have a lot to lose."
Then he's the only Guardian to survive.
Fanged Katipo Fuck
Oh shit
Him and Nebula. She seemed to work out her differences with Gamora.
OOF
When he watched groot dissapear that was the second saddest to spiderman dying in tony's arms
"Where is Jeremy Jahns?"
"Who is Jeremy Jahns?"
Why is Jeremy Jahns?"
George "I am Steve Rogers"
Dude I was scrolling down and literal laugh out loud
I don’t get this reference, please explain it to me.
Sanjay Raju it's a joke from infinity war
(Cap voice) I understood that reference
Best line in the entire movie.
"Get lost, Squidward".
Skyline the White Wolf I thought he looked more like Voldemort.
He looked more like a Duros from Star Wars.
The way he acted reminded me of the prophets from Halo.
“Im sorry little one”
Why is Gamora
I did enjoy the final line after the credits "Thanos will return" instead of their classic " The Avengers will return in *insert movie title". Really loved that.
HenryTheGod didn't actually see that wow
Every talked about it and I never saw it!!! Uggh. I'm pissed.
+HenryThegod Me too. Thanos Forever. Maybe in a few sequels we'll get Thanos vs Magus. :D
Avenegers: The End Game. Just like doc strange says to tony.
Inhedonia Hrtz OK. But maybe we have recovered from that shock and realized that most of the dead ones will be back?
Dr. Strange: "What master do you serve?"
Petter Quill: "What Master do I serve? What am I supposed to say, Jesus?"
1swimchick 😂
Bruh when Thor entered Wakanda I WAS HYPED
That shit was awesome.
Thor was easily the best character in the entire film. The part where he implaes Thanos with the stormbreaker and tell him "I told you, you die for that" was beyond badass.
Thor was the real MVP
How he screams "BRING ME THANOS!!!!!!"
TheGhostofSparta97 Yep
"That nut sack of a chin" - best line of the movie
Hulk was so terrified after getting Loki'd by Thanos he didn't want to come out anymore
NoVa I like the way they played it out as if it was similar to an erectile dysfunction (they sorta did it in Logan).
The guy who never lost a fistfight finally lost a fist fight. Huge blow to his ego.
Mrblurr he was saying that the way Tony and Strange reacted related to ED
NoVa
I absolutely agree with you!
Why, doesn't anyone else get it?
Thanos, power was so overwhelming that the Hulk couldn't handle it. We've never seen that. And no crit has even pointed that out. Thanos was that terrifying to the Hulk. That's a huge take away in the opening scene.
Best line in the movie. Rocket; how much for the arm? Winter soldier walked away. Rocket; I’m going to get that arm. I was dying.
and he smuggled the eye between his private parts lol
@That Cynical Guy Not anymore....
Yaritza Miranda up the arse...
Rocket: "How much for the gun?"
Bucky: "Not for sale."
Rocket: "How much for the arm?"
Bucky:"..."
Rocket: "Heh, I'm gonna get that arm"
Shake N' Bake did bucky's arm stay behind after he disappeared?
Too soon?
Mujtaba Walji No, it disappeared too! Which sucks, cause they could have added a scene with rocket giving him his arm back or something.
*rabbit
Mujtaba Walji Yeah, I noticed that... It said they'd die, not that all their clothes and armor and stuff would disappear.
no it turned to dust
Captain America and Thor have the best entrances in the history of entrances.
BlueNuggetBoy Productions Completely.
The intro for the joker in the dark knight is way better...
Alexis Infante by far
Alexis Infante but then again, The Dark Knight is the best superhero movie of all time, so there ya go
The thing is that you wait all the movie for Cap to be with Thor or Tony, so it's incredible
“Thor took a sun to the chest” the best.
Biggest mistakes made in the movie
1. Starlord goes for the head
2. Thor doesn't go for the head
jaden wise Starlord hit Mantis's hand and broke the trance she had Thanos in.
3. Gamora doesn't give Starlord head.
Also, Thor’s new eye doesn’t just melt out of his face after taking on a dying star.
Thor’s new random eye > Thanos
Kaden Brown NOW THIS IS TRUE. His clothes are stronger than Thanos.
Thor's eyes were closed.
Thor's right eyelid > Thor's new random eye > Thanos
If we're gonna poke holes. Couldn't Scarlet Witch just make all the enemies' heads do a 360 and snap some necks including Thanos? Vision seemed a little down powered while Black Widow seemed to be Cap's Equal.
If you really want to get technical that's the dude from Guardians of the Galaxy 2 with the fake eye so he's the most powerful being in the MCU
I'd be worried about getting an ingestion with where Rocket said it was. That's a good point though. His clothes are fine to.
The baddies were way more menacing than I expected.
Yes! ... Ebony Maw was no joke.
Ebony Maw: "No joke"
Also Ebony Maw: "It means get lost, Squidward"
😂
Darragh Hynes but iron man said that
Loki and Spider-Man’s death messed me up man.
Makes sense now, how sad.
That's possible, but I think people want to consider that as the reason he got such a long dusting scene more than it was actually intentionally a spider-sense thing. Again though, very viable theory that it had something to do with his Spider-Sense
They had to do it man. Much as it hurts, this is the end game. people gotta go to make us feel that
You're not kidding. Damned painful moment to watch.
You are the first person who talks about Loki accepting himself as Odin’s. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
“WHY is Gamora?”
I was fucking Dying laughing at this part Drax is an idiot XD
It's BeeRay I’ll do you one better- WHY is Gamora??
What is Gamora?
Snarky Scotsman not so good
WHO is Gamora.
The laugh of the movie for me was when Okoye said what everyone was thinking when she said “Why was she up there this whole time” I lost it lol
Agreed. Though I loved how the movie then instantly cut back to Shuri to show the sneak assault to get to Vision behind the front, thereby answering Okoye's question.
Wasn't she there to protect the stone?
Surpeme protect vision and destroy the stone
IceBurg yes! That line killed me! One of my favorites in the movie! 😂😂
Yes!
Why is no one talking about the fact that thanos had FIVE infinity stones and wanda was holding him back with ONE ARM
Wanda's fucking broken, dawg.
True. Why no one is talking about that? So,she's more powerful than all six stones? Her powers are combination of the Teseract and the Mind stone.Interesting.
A very sick part of me wanted Wanda to not die/ disappear so she can be driven to insanity by Vision's loss and go full House of M and reboot reality.
Full House oh I get it, like Elizabeth's siblings.
E X A C T L Y !!!! Sister was literally killing her boyfriend, having an emotional breakdown, and holding back the most powerful person in the universe at the SAME TIME !!! We love one (1) woman
If you ask me, Hawkeye had WAY too much screen-time
Justa Person agreed
Lawrence McGee ye she had way to much dialogue
I liked the scene where Hawkeye killed thanos by an arrow when he was busy snapping his fingers
You mean an arrow to the knee?
Yeah it was uncalled for
When Thanos stabbed Tony the entire theater gasped.
It is a great ending. The screening I went to everyone left with questions & there was applauses through out the entire movie & credits
It's not an actual hashtag that leads to anything but I feel like it must be said.
"I hope they remember you". He was very difficult not to like as a villain
Buraku dude fucking cried
AR Studios I didn’t cos I bet my mate £10 stark would die. So i said "YES!" then that imbecile Strange saved him!!! Ffs!!!!
"We've got a hulk"
Tony really made an impression on loki
He did. Cool.
I think Hulk did... except *with* Loki.
Wow, that was so beautiful.
Yep I thought Gamora’s death was by far the most impactful out of anything in the movie
Megan I didn’t see how he cared about her at all so that whole scene made no impact on me at all. I did laugh at the position Gamora was in when she landed tho, so that’s a positive.
Man. Guardians is towards the bottom of the list for ME. But Gamora is now one of my favorite characters.
Star-Lord: where is Gamora?
Iron man: who is Gamora?
Draw: why is Gamora?
Lewis McIntosh Whos drax?
Michael John WHY is Drax?
Drax is Because
+floyd watt "I am Steve Rogers."
Lewis McIntosh where is gamora
I’ll do you one better who is gamora
I’ll do you one better why is gamora
Seeing Spider-Man fade away was so hard to watch. "I don't wanna go, please don't make me go" is such a child/teenagers response to death/change and being a teenager myself, it really hit me where it hurts. That simple denial, I could honestly relate and I understood the pain he was feeling.
Just because he's an Avenger doesn't mean he has the mentality of a wise adult, he's still a kid and is still frightened by the uncertainty of his future. Top notch acting from Tom Holland
Gamora was just....I felt for her.
Daina Bryant very humanizing.
true, Gamora fucked up tho, she could have avoided it.....If she would've only gone left smh lol
Is no one going to talk about scarlet witchs death? The way her eyes just went up back to her head and her crying at the same time while holding vision. That one hit me the most. And also where is valkyrie is she dead?
Green Doge they’re not dead tho
Daina Bryant well said for spider man part!
I feel like the reason, the Hulk didnt come out was the Hulk being scared.
He has never been beaten so badly. Thanos just demolished him with no effort at all.
Loved that scene by the way.
It sure would add some depth to the Hulk
Justdontbeasquare I knew it from the moment that Hulk refused to fight.
Justdontbeasquare He's basically 2 year old child
Justdontbeasquare completely agree. But I am kinda bummed that we didn't get that shot from the trailer in the movie. The one with the hulk and the rest of the avengers in wakanda running towards the fight
Justdontbeasquare
The MCU has made the hulk a bitch honestly.
Justdontbeasquare Also in Thor 3 hulk told Thor that “I stay Earth hates Hulk” maybe since he was on earth again he didn’t want to fight again because he thinks that he will cause more harm to people
I saw red skull and me and my friend looked at each other and said "Darth maul?" At the same time LMFAO
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
“Mr. Stark, I don’t feel so good...”
Realistically, how many times do you think someone has written that Exact comment word for word.
Emil Heje don’t let sony take me mr stark
Emil Heje oh...my heart... 😭😭😭
“You’re alright” BUT HE WASNT ALRIGHT WAS HE
F
Half the Asgardians are still alive. Thor tells Rocket half his people are dead. Meaning half fled with Valkyrie probably
Make it a quater now.
I dont get how they went from Thor ragnorak to infinity war
You can see their ship being approached by Thanos's ship in Ragnorak's post credit scene. Thanos probably attacked it cause he tracked the tesseract, so it was all Loki's fault.
The post credit scene in Thor Ragnorak showed it how.
The Asgardian ship was being approached by Thanos's ship, you don't see the attack but you can assume that Thanos is going to attack it.
"What did it cost" "Everything" 😥
Spider-Man at the end straight slayed me fam, I had to go home and watch Homecoming so he was alive to me again.
Corey Miller It was too soon for me
Awwwww 😂😂😂😂😂
Just watch Tobey again lol
Hulk and Thor gonna kick names and take ass in avengers 4
Harry 30 😂
Man, I hope so. Hulk hasn't had a win since Loki. Bunch of aliens with guns mowed him down in Avengers, Hulkbuster smashed him in Age of Ultron, couldn't beat Thor without cheating in Ragnarok, basically beat Fenris on a ringout technicality in Ragnarok, giant fire monster slapped him away like nothing in Ragnarok, and you saw what Thanos did to him. I don't know why they are disrespecting him so much.
Harry 30 I hope so. Hulk only had like 20 seconds of screen time in Infinity War 😣
Epic comment
Was ant-man in the movie bcoz i didn't saw him ,there was only one reference to ant-man.....would antman and wasp take place before or after infinity war
Are we not gonna talk about how funny that squidward joke was in infinity war? I was dying with the whole theater
Isaiah Ortiz what was the squidward joke? I saw the movie, but I don't remember that
Ohh okay
No Stark did.
Isaiah Ortiz it was fucking FUNNY lol
“What master do you serve?!”
“What, do you expect me to say JESUS?”
"what? you are from Earth?"
"No I am from Missouri!"
"That's on Earth dipshit"
"Where is Gamora?" "I got you one better who is Gamora?" "I got you both one better why is Gamora?"
😂
Brandon Peel yes actually
I’ve noticed that not many people are talking about Rocket Raccoon. I mean, almost all his life he’s known nothing but torment and pain until he met the Guardians and they became his only family. Now that they’re gone (not yet considering the fact that some will come back) he has nothing. Imagine the psychological damage.
I just wanna give the little guy a hug.
Well ... he has thor now
Imagine now, knowing what he went through….
"It will end up killing you."
"Only if I die!"
"Yes. That's what.. 'killing you' means."
It's Me, Cody Peter Dinklage!!
😂😂😂
It's Me, Cody lolololo
It's Me, Cody people die when there killed
The best line in the film lol.
Star Lord- Where Is Gamora?
Iron Man- I’ll Do You One Better, Who Is Gamora?
Drax- I’ll Do You One Better, WHY IS GAMORA? 😂
Hassan Hamid I pissed myself at that lmao
Everybody asks where, who, and why is Gamora, but nobody asks HOW is Gamora.
Spoiler alert: Not very well.
Hassan Hamid everyone in the cinema laughed when that happened
Legit one of the best Parts of the movie 😂
Drax had best one liners !!
"BRING ME THANOS!"
Best part of the movie.
That's suppose to be Drax's line LOL
Why is gamora
Best part is "I told you you die for that!"-Thor with cold hatred in his eyes.
girl4mac4 should have gone for the head
seppe vervloet yeah but if he did,he would've not said those words cause Thanos would not be alive to hear them. Actually he should've gone for the hand.
It's Agent Robin Sparkles
Nick Pagan lets go to the helicarrier everybody!
Fury calls her agent hill.........
Nick Pagan Robin *daggers
EVERYBODY COME AND PLAY
Today
Hulk had a lack of appearance because of how scared he was of Thanos after Thanos kicked his ass
CJ Phoenix but it really showcased Thanos’s power even without all the gems
In the comics, Thanos backhands Hulk.
Love the Squidward reference Tony made. Suck it Spongebob! Squidwards cooler.
Number Muncher that blew my fucking mind on how much I laughed at it
if only he dabbed
I don't remember the other Children of Thanos' names only remember Squidward.
Cool points just know thanos already had two stones so he did have powers.
I think it's a set-up for an awesome Hulk reveal in the next Avengers movie.
Just like how we finally got the Thor we all wanted in this movie, we will get an unleashed Hulk tearing everything up in the next, maybe something that Hulk was afraid of becoming.
Yeah its also probably to give the acotr actual screen time given the fact that other than Thor Ragnarok he hasnt been on screen for awhile
Mob Destroyer
Hey man.
No. Even before he was stabbed. He was hella weak. Viz was supposed to be super OP. Blame Wanda though. She made him weak
@@TheBobbyreece5 he gets stabbed literally in his first action scene in this movie...
see now you know why love sucks
I liked the balance between telling a thanos story and an avengers one
Nick18 M it was not balanced. The thanos story was way bigger
Otso Tuurna Balanced doesn't always mean equal.
Thanos said that when he wipes out half the universe it would be random, unbiased, rich and poor alike so no he didn’t choose
Matt Brady i think he wen by races, because he said half of humanity will be left.
Happy maybe half of every species to be fair?
The only one he chose to keep alive was Tony Stark from my knowledge.
P H, and where did you find said knowledge, because I dont remember there being anything saying he specifically kept tony alive from the stone.
"Mr stark i don't feel so good"
zac4three spider sense warned him way ahead of time
Bruce James Parker Didn't even think about that. That's genius!
I think they should have ended hat scene right there so you wouldn’t know if Spider-Man died or not.
Omg cried so much
Nathan S But we would know that he died because he started turning to Ash when he said it, they should have shown the full scene cuz what's the point of keeping it a mystery if he died or not??
To be fair, Thanos performed the final act of wiping out half of the universe in the most fair way possible for that situation. Wiping out half, but making it random, so every single being has a 50/50 chance of survival, no preferences based on wealth, power or anything like that. About as fair as one can be when performing universe-scale genocide haha. Definitely my favourite villain and one of my favourite movies now.
Eoin Smith I agree with you a 100%
And he probably came up with the whole "dissolving into ash" thing as the most painless and humane way to do that
I think the theme for this movie was sacrifice.
Starlord sacrifices Gamora
Thanos Sacrifices Gamora
Scarlet Witch sacrifices Vision
Dr Strange sacrifices the time stone.
Thanos sacrifices half the universe.
Even Cap says we don’t trade lives. Probably a few more I’m missing. This movies is amazing!
Thor sacrificed himself for Stormbreaker, but he did survive in the end so not sure if that counts.
The Banter Lounge did Thanks kill cap or did they just go a few rounds?
Thanos doesn't sacrifice anything than Gamora. He wanted to kill these people. I hope they show his love and passion about mistress Death
Starlord doesn’t sacrifice Gamora, Dr strange doesn’t “sacrifice” the stone, and Thanos doesn’t sacrifice half the universe, it was his goal.. it was a culling..
SAME I NOTICED THIS TOO
When captain America showed up behind the train boiiiiii
I teared up in that moment. One of my fave bits of the film.
Wish cap got more of the spotlight in the film. He's ma boy
TERIYAKI PAPII that was so damn awesome and especially thor coming to wakanda ahhh!
"You speak Groot?"
"It was an elective on Asgard."
So many people were laughing before that line, I think most of the people in the cinema missed it.
That shit was mad hilarious
i missed it...
A couple things:
Thanos doesn't seem to want to kill people.
92brunod
If he didn’t want to kill people he wouldn’t have killed half of all people everywhere for completely arbitrary reasons. His mission isn’t necessary.
92brunod
Thanos has personally killed thousands of people.
+sabdude 63
Yes, I know that is what is explicitly stated by Thanos. I'm telling you that it doesn't make sense. It's an excuse.
Thanos is sympathetic, but wrong.
Demagogue that's what makes him a villain. His idea is flawed.
*Earth is closed*
Yes, but Disneyland remains open and the lines are only half as long.
That means leave squidward

Thanos is the MCU's best villain. Yes, he's the hero in his own story, but even though he wants mass genocide throughout the universe, he has a weird moral code. He put *Drax back together, he tells Starlord "I like you" when he sees he was willing to kill his girlfriend, he tells Tony he hopes everyone remembers him after he died...I found him fascinating. And I can't wait to see what happens in "Part 2" because we're left with the original Avengers. (I am not going to emotionally be able to say goodbye to Steve Rogers. I'm just not.)
Shout out to the Russo brothers.
Chris Markus and Stephen McFeely wrote the film, not the Russos
Wonder why he didnt find the stones by himself in the first place...it couldve ended in 2-3 mcu movies...and less resistance he'll receive
hpfan who is jax?
hpfan no I'm serious who the fuck is jax? I don't remember anyone named jax
Jonathan Shaw
No, the woman is Robin Sherbatsky you uncultured swine
PixelGod97 i feel as if those who talk a lot about “Avengers” would not get this reference.
Jonathan Shaw It's already been confirmed years before release that everyone who died is in Avengers 4.

“Thor’s nukeproof”
The energy and heat of even a small star makes a nuke look like an ember
WolfsbaneFilms yeah that’s not true at all, a nuke is many times hotter than a star, for a very small amount of time but still, many times hotter
@@willinton06 thats not true though
Joyce Diamond excuse yourself? Which part is not true?
Joyce Diamond actually let me get it clear here, you think a start is hotter than a nuke?
@@willinton06 A star is wayy hotter than a nuke, the deeper you go the hotter it get's. Millions of times hotter if you go deep enough so yeah. Also you won't respond to this since it's legit a year old comment but lol.
Thor even makes a point of saying that half his people died, and I’m pretty sure Valkyrie wasn’t shown for a reason she probably used an escape pod
Nug King But what about Korg?
I hope Korg lives but there were rocks everywhere soooooo
This is really fucked up, I know, but part of me kinda wanted to see a dead pile of rocks during the shot of all the dead Asgardians.
Brian Tully yea I hope valkarie survived, Korg can suck it he had no place in a Thor movie
Kyle Pietrusiewicz piss off kyle
That bit where Thor is talking to rocket and he's tryna keep it together, that was low-key one of the most emotional moments for me tbh
Yusof Hassan subtly hints that he uses comedy to hide it.
Yusof Hassan that was beautiful, finally all of his loss caught up to him
It's moments like that when you can see he is still the Thor from Ragnarok, he's just dealing with so much shit that he is being a bit more serious. I and many others were afraid he was just going to completely revert back to his former self, who was pretty boring to be honest.
heimdall i'm pretty sure
That was a wonderful scene! Definitely one of his best scenes in the film. Poor Thor :/
They lost because they didn’t have peter from Deadpool 2 to help them.
Well, they can't make it too easy for the Avengers. That'd be like the ultimate cheat code. The only one even more unfair than Peter would be Squirrel Girl.
dont call it a comeback.
julian garcia Peter is the only one who can kill thanos
My guy, Peter would wash Thanos.
I verbally said "Fuck" during the post credits when they showed Carol's emblem.
Props to Marvel for making such a good story that's very non formulaic.
Worth waiting for 10 years. :")
Disappointing I know 😭
I'm sooo Grateful I had exams when Captain Marvel Came out and I didn't watch it and Went from Infinity war to endgame
Imagine there was no end credit scene and it just said "this is the end of the MCU thank you for being a part of the journey" and all these other *planned* movies were just the ultimate hoax
And the avengers just have to live life with half their numbers😂😂
This is exactly what I want to happen with Avengers 4. Make the MCU one nice compact storyline with no lose threads at the end
tom cundell they have been to successfully to suddenly stop but i reckon another like 4 films and then it ends with a massive movie (idk how it could be bigger then infinity war lol) would just be awesome but also really sad at the same time
I think the only way forward is to do that xmen Cross over into the phoenix saga now that Disney owns fox
Imagine if in infinity war part 2 deadpool comes and steals the gauntlet and gives it back to the avengers😂😂😂😂
When surprise Peter Dinklage, and Red Skull showed up, I lost it. I also have a theory that most of the surviving Avengers will die in order to bring back the ones that faded away.
Also best lines:
"I AM GROOT"
I am Steve Rogers
Starlord: "Where" is Gamora?
Iron Man: I'll do you one better, "Who" is Gamora.
Drax: I'll do you one better, "Why" is Gamora?
Drax: DIE BLANKET OF DEATH.
Drax: You're a "dude" this is a "man".
Mantis: Kick names, and take ass.
Iron Man: It means go home Squidward.
Dormammu, what about when Strange called Stark a douchebag.
Dormammu rabbit.
They all come back with thr time stone
Or when Thor's hammer comes winding around and Banner yells "You guys are screwed now!"
Dormammu *kick names, take ass.
"Howard the F**ked" 😂😂😂
Chris Jones i laughed when he said that
Prylax hahah I was died
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA 😂
or abbreviated, How the Fuck
Chris Jones Howard the fawk🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
"Howard the Fucked" *wheeze laughing* how did I miss that gem the first time I watched this?
I loved the bit where Hawkeye came out from hiding and told Tony "it's not about what killing what you hate, but saving what you love" with Thanos and Tony sharing a kiss next to the ThanosCopter
James I.... I don’t think we watched the same movie..
James then Captain America says "I understood that reference!"
James Hawkeye and Ant-Man aren't in this movie.
I think that was your NyQuil dream.
James I think I'm going to be sick with that mental image of Fury snogging Thanos
"did you do it? "
"yes. "
"what did it cost you? "
"everything. "
Jeremy Munene This was my favorite part of the movie. Thanos didn't want to wipe out half the universe, but he thought it was the right thing to do so he had to.
"Did you do it?"
"Yes"
"What did it cost you?"
"Everything."
Please try quoting correctly.
Dan Silent Playthroughs isn’t it “what did it cost?”?
Jeremy Munene it cost me 10 bucks
Dan i mean not everyone can remember the line word for word...
Saw this yesterday it was really freakin good. "If you throw another moon at me I'm going to lose it." XD
Tony Stark and Dr Strange! I love how so far in the MCU only Dr Strange calls Stark out on his shit, "Your a douche bag."
Tony Stark is that guy. I said it before the Avengers would be nothing without him. This guy lasted a whole 5mins more with Thanos than Hulk. That suit was so damn good. The guy is the real leader of the team.
LV223 lol
fav damn scene lol
Stark as well as Strange and Spiderman and the Gaurdians lasted as long as they did because of plot armor fandom popularity and the fact that they had Thanos holding back
He had the power stone, which was shown to be able to decimate entire planets.
He had the soul stone, which allows you to steal and manipualte the souls of other people
He had the reality stone, which literally allows you to rewrite the laws of physics and transmute matter
And of course the space stone which allows you to wrap the fabric of space anyway you see fit.
He could have ripped Starks soul out in a fraction of a nano second.
That armor isn't durable enough to survive an energy out put that can crush a planet
The reality stone could have turned the entire suit into a puddle of goo
And he could have used the space stone to teleport him into a sun.
There's literally no reason Stark lasted except for plot armor and Thanos holding back with the stones, the character isn't literally that powerful
Took me a long time to be able to watch this video, but I can finally sit down and watch it without fear of spoilers.
Jeremy's got that "baby lock the door and turn the lights down low" voice.
Tureta PB lol
xD
😂
I think the name you’re looking for is Josh Turner lmao
Hahahaha, that's the one!!! With the deep morning voice. Hahaha
Did anyone find it slightly funny when red skull told thanos to sacrifice
Gamora: ha don't love anyone you're finished
Thanos turns around and looks at her
Red skull: OH
seifield theme plays
In the comics, the cartoons and the games he does not care about Gamora at all so that suprised me.
I know. I thought they were going to introduce Death as being the only person Thanos loves, so that was a curveball for me, too.
Siegfried Final See, this is why I believe everyone's death didn't hit me as hard cause I know it's not the end. They'll be back.
yeah, after starlord ruing the universe for everyone, a minute longer and he could have done what he wanted to Thanos, dude messed up and wiped out half the galaxy.
Just to point out Dr strange was about to smile before he turns into ashes. Means his plan is already working
If that didn’t happen and they got the gauntlet off Thanos, the movie would of been over and it would of sucked lol.
It was a spider sense is he knew he was about to go
Droquid Ah yeah! It probably was, I didn't think of that, a down-side of Spidey-Senses then I guess....
Noo, they already knew he was gonna go, it was all part of dr.strange plan, that way right at the last minute he changed to a serious face like he knew stark was gonna save him
Kevin Ramirez yeah, thats what I originally thought, either way it was upsetting 😢
Yeah definetly broke my heart
Imagine how many babies/children will die because their parents disappear
Bob Didlboc imagine new born babies sleeping in their crib and it eventually dies because its parents disappear.
So dark... sure your not from the DCEU
What makes you think the babies are spared?
bloodsoldierZ considering that everyone seems to agree that everyone disappears at random, there’s bound to be young humans still alive without parents
+Bob Didlboc and there's bound to be elderlies without a caretaker, patients without a doctor, burning buildings without a fireman, vehicle accidents without a traffic signal technician, etc.
I can’t believe Thanos is Tony’s dad
Me too
😂😂😂
That's so bullshit.
Ikr, I was surprised too.
He may be Tony's father, but he totally ain't his daddy.
7:43 we indeed are in the endgame
Thor arriving in Wakanda was one of the coolest scenes of the movie, we finally got the God of Thunder as he always should of been.
Dr strange predicted that the only outcome of winning was 1 in 14 mil. Giving the stone must be part of the 1 possibility of winning In the end. Remember that
cr4zym3x1c4n
It’s weird to think about because if he gave thanos the Stone in one of the scenarios he would have no way to know if he would get it back and even be able to go back in time to let them know
he didn't live them he only have seen them
cr4zym3x1c4n And since Tony was alive during the ending, Doc Strange must've given the stone because Tony was needed
cr4zym3x1c4n that's what I thought
exactly, his last word to Stark was "There was no other way" meaning that all of the outcomes he had seen, Tony Stark life was more important than the stone because Tony may be one of the Key to defeat Thanos, that is why Dr.Strange said "We're at the end game now" which is a gamble.
Just imagine if Marvel didn't have announced that the next Avenger would be part 2 of this one.....HOLY SHIT the impact of that ending would be so much more powerful....
Or, at least, not show their future release schedule at all.
I mean they did change it to just 1 infinity war movie. Which threw me for a loop when I came in and saw THAT ending.
Vincent Warrican Grest idea cause no one would know that Spiderman 2 was going to come out
Vincent Warrican yep.
That man made a Firefly reference. Thought I wouldn't notice. But I did.
Did he? I missed it. What was the reference?
suicune2001 it was when he said ladidadida slob on me knob
He's a big Browncoat. Watch his Firefly and Serenity reviews
*Sheds a manly tear in honor of Firefly*
And you did an Avengers reference as you were addressing Jeremy doing a Firefly reference. Shiny
Feel better soon dude!
Hope u feel better the for the upload I watch your page everyday
I say Empire Strikes Back has finally been topped for a dark ending.
"What's the point of a friendly neighborhood Spiderman if there's no neighborhood to protect?"
They still died, the gem dont store people in
That's what I thought.
Although I assume captain marvel will not only play a big part in avengers 4, but will also survive, so I don't know how this theory holds up
This movie traumatized me
MySweetCreationz It was supposed to ... lol
That spiderman scene😢
Joe Tober YEAH 😭😭😭
Oh stop it
So, this movie made you not feel so good.
Can y’all stop calling it deaths their not dead
yea, that's exactly what i thought. i was in tears are spider-man 'faded away' but thought there's a number 2 next year, nah he's good. i would have made it so much stronger of a scene if we didn't know.
I actually didn't know about the sequels until I read your comment but I still knew those deaths aren't permanent, so it really doesn't make much of a difference.
The new movies will sadly be prequels
When I snap my fingers, half of this comment section will still exist.
Can’t Get Right _perfectly balanced_
Pursuits of Life. as all things should be
Thanos didn’t get to pick who died.
Lmao
Javier Logan
The writers stated that they were going to make up a new storyline for Thanos that actually gives him a conscious. They are ignoring the death crazed Thanos from the comics. That explains his backstory and dialogue in the movie.
P H that's nice
groot can be regrown from a part of thor's hammer
ok.
ok.
Yesss.
The way I see it, most of the characters who disappeared from the snap, will return, particularly Black Panther and Spider-Man. They already have confirmed sequels coming. Kevin Feige even said that the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel takes place minutes after Avengers 4.
Yes, the others, loki, heimdall, vision, gamora i think will stay dead
Kerrod Nolan
Minutes after avengers 4 man spiderman will be traumatized somewhat i still want to know aunt may reaction of his nephew being spiderman
Hector Arredondo I was really hoping to see that too, but I assume that'll be addressed later. Now I just wonder whether Aunt May was one of the ones vaporized. Either way I feel really bad for her, because if she wasn't killed then she is probably absolutely freaking out.
Seconds
Nguyễn Đình Quang Minh
Vision is coming back black panthers sister took a copy of his brain with her when she was attacked and she want dusted away soo
Great point. Still, you can almost call that a Pyrrhic victory at best.
Definitely
"You should have aimed for the head."
So technically Thor kills thanos but should have aim at his head 😂
Thor is stronger than Odin and yeah Thor really killed him but he had just enough strength to snap his fingers
Here's what I think.
Tony already saw all the other Avengers die in a destined scenario in his mind and still feels the weight of that guilt. In Infinity War, none of the Avengers die but nearly everyone else does. Tony will eventually understand that Dr Strange 'saved' him so that he could ultimately save everyone else, break the destined 'Avengers all die' timeline by making the ultimate sacrifice, and in doing so saving himself from the ghosts of his 'legacy' as he deemed in Age of Ultron.
jherrenor .
jherrenor I come from the future it's all true
You right bro
this is random but anyone else love the scream thanos did when they pinned him down making him powerless? like it was the perfect scream of frustration and failure
Josh Brolin is so good
"I m Groot"
"I m Steve Rogers"😂😂
sanchit srivastava I'm Peter Parker ,I'm Doctor Strange, oh we're using made up names now! Best one for me
That shit had me rolling
Jeremy, half the Asgardians made it off the ship. That's why they didn't show Valkyrie and Korg getting murked.
FerociousPaul How do we know that half the Asgardians made it off their ship? I don't remember that part
MrQ000000 The director confirmed it. He said Valkyrie is still alive, but he doesn’t want to talk about Korg.
MrQ000000 They didn't show them escaping, it's mentioned very briefly and it's easy to miss in all the excitement.
THOR mentioned it in the film that 1/2 the Asgardians had died... jus saw it..
Thor said in the movie
*Grown man, here. ...*
I cried when Spider-Man died ._.
Kool Keith me too my heart was broken
Kool Keith Only Tom Holland could've made that scene work the way he did.
Nahhh not for this Spiderman
