I love this beautiful hat. Wow, you are so clever. Thank you for making this tutorial. Can’t wait to get my knitting machine so I can make one. Thank you 🥰
Have you made this video yet. You are great and I love this idea and creativity.. I will make a video on how to twist the T Post Clip. I want to make this for my granddaughter for christmas and as I am making ALL resents on my Addi in am really in time crunch
I believe you have pics on your IG where you have some redheart bright stripe fed into the pattern for the hearts. How do you get it to work out so the colors are consistent bottom to top between hats? Great tool and pattern. Thanks for sharing.
I purchased some on Amazon. My husband said he could help me modify them. Also I was wanting to make ear warmers on my 22 Addi. Do you think 6 to 8 rows of hearts. I’m experimenting.
Thanks for sharing this technique. I visited your Instagram and enjoyed looking at the great things you make. May I ask where you got your cute cat tags? I would like to have something like those made for my projects.
I love this method! I remember you said you live on a farm and you had the ends closed off, but what is the "tool" you are using called? Is it something I can find in the city? Thank you so much for making this look uncomplicated. 😘
Ugh mine keep coming out upside down 😭 they look normal during knitting then when I close it off for the double layer they’re upside down. What did I do wrong??
thanks, teacher!
At 0.05 - She meant 46 stitches and "80" rows (for those who are new to knitting with
your Addi). Love that creative tool for making the hearts.
They say necessity is the mother of invention. You’ve created a real nifty tool 💕
Thanks! It really speeds up the process and saves my hands from cramping.
You are awesome thanks for your help I’m 92 years old and I love it
Thanks, I'm so happy you enjoyed the video!
@@hschemistryteacherdropout no problem young lady have a wonderful day
Wow. Watching from the Uk. Thank you taking time to show this. I will definitely need to get some wire to try this.
Thanks for watching. The wire really saved my hands!!
Do you have spares? You could sell them on Etsy.
amazing!! OMG ingenious!! still faster than doing it by hand with circular needles!!!
So clever!! I'm going to get hubby to make me a similar tool :) Thank you
My husband had to bend the wire for me. Thanks for watching!!

Is there a video on how to make the tool?

I just separate (cut) each different color from redheart bright stripe so they are all lined up and ready to use.
what a great little gadget to do that with! thanks for sharing the idea
I love the hats and the little tool is so smart! Thanks for the share :)
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video.

Happy to share!!
Where did you get your gadget? Love it!
I designed it myself to help with finger and arm pain. My husband had to bend the wire used for T post for me. Thanks for watching!!
Hello! New to your channel! This is very nice! I'll keep this in mind if I'm ever able to get an Addi! Thank you for sharing!!
So happy to share my work. I'm a big Addi fan but there are other brands people like. You just need the bigger size knitting machine.
This is awesome and quite clever! thanks for sharing!
🤯 Awesome!!!!
Absolutely!! I love little tricks that help us all out.
Awesome video. That tool is PERFECT!
It has saved my hands. So easy to make also. Thanks for watching.
Where can you purchase that tool
@@deenawillis1597 It's a modified T-post clamp from Tractor Supply. I'm working on making some and will post when available.

@@deenawillis1597 I think so. Send me a picture when done, I would love to see how it works out.
Clever tool is there a name for it or was it made by you lovely work.
Fence Fork T Post Clips. You can find them at Tractor Supply.
@@hschemistryteacherdropout Ooh, thanks for that. I’ll add it to my shopping list instead of messing around with wire myself.
I used a landscape pin and pliers to curl the end. It worked also.
wow! your husband should patent that. as you can see there is a demand!
That’s beautiful!!! 🥰🥰 thanks for sharing
Thank you!! Happy to share.

Thank you! I use Angie & Britt for my tags. www.angieandbritt.com/
How many rows did you knit after your hearts?
I just continued until I reach 110.
love it, gonna give it a try!
If ya don't have a hubby to make a tool and you don't have one...what would a normal beginner Schmoe use??
Wow! Thanks! I will try this today 😎
If I wanted to make a kids sized hat would I still do 16 rows for the hearts or would I want to do less?
I'm not sure of kids size maybe 100 rows? If so I would just reduce by two rows. Thank you for watching!!
@@hschemistryteacherdropout Thanks!

Thanks! It's a T-POST clip and you can find them at tractor supply. One can also use any jewelry wire but it may bend with use.
hubby calls them tie wires.i know this is a 6 m old comment, but for anyone else wondering.
This is so cute! 😍
Thank you!!
Do you sell that tool?
Wow thanks for sharing
Where did you get the bracket from?
Ugh mine keep coming out upside down 😭 they look normal during knitting then when I close it off for the double layer they’re upside down. What did I do wrong??
Hi! Are you following my row count? Don't start your hearts until you get to row 80 then it should work out when you turn your tube.
Omg it’s so awesome your the best
I'm so glad you liked my video on making hearts.
@@hschemistryteacherdropout when are you doing another video
Wow that is amazing!!!!
Thank you so much for watching and enjoying my video!!
wonderful🥰❤️
Thank you! I appreciate you watching.
How would this work on a sentro 48 stitch machine
It should work out fine. I have never used a Sentro 48 but many people have good luck with that machine and making hearts.
Just a quick question, you say you do 110 rows, is the hat a double layered?
Yes!!
i was just learning how to do fair isle on a knitting machine😅
That’s cool!
Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely!!
Thanks for sharing
Thank you
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching my video.
Awesome, really
Thank you!!
Nice
Idk why my hearts came out upside down
You have to do the hearts at the end of the hat not the beginning.
I wish I could read the reply bc mine are upside down too. I click but can’t see her response.
My hearts came out upside down 🤷♀️
Lol, Almost be faster to just hand knit. Thanks tho..
Works great for those of us who can't hand knit though :)
Finding my way outta the box took some creativity but so worth it to be able to see value at all yarn-y angles. You should try it.
