I love this pattern! I think I've made ten since watching this the first time. I learn differently and have come up with a coin trick, heads:start on black , tails: start on white hook before first black. I turn the coin over at the beginning of each round so I know after the two knit rows, where to start my next row. I adapted the pattern to use a solid color 80 yards, then switch to another solid color or multi color yarn. So happy to find your talent. TY
Brilliant! You were so clear and not a clutz at all! I managed to follow what you were doing with the pattern and was able to make sense of it. I shall carefully watch once more and take notes and then it’s all systems go for this beautiful hat! At present I am finishing off a Winnie the Pooh hat and have managed to knit the nose and ears... now for the sewing on business! The other project after that will be to make a Santa doll. I have already made seven Santa hats for my kids and grand kids for Christmas (I hope they will wear them and not just chuck them in a cupboard!).
Wooow this is so clever and looks really pretty! I have a slightly different machine but I love that they're all kind of similar. Totally going to try this on some test yarn!
Instruction was clear, however, formatting to view wide instead of narrow would make it easier for us to watch/ You tend to drift out of camera range and what you are doing can't be seen.
Omg 😱 I love this pattern and I’m on the stage of working on my beannie hat with my machine now and just done my stripes crochet hat. I’m glad I across to your channel, I will definitely try to make this pattern.
Wau was für eine zauberhafte Mütze ❤ und was für eine tolle Anleitung ❤ Ich würde sie gerne für ein Baby stricken ❤❤ Könnten sie mir bitte einen Tipp geben ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm little confused by 1 knit knit 2 knit knit 1 knit knit 2. Do you mean you wrap 2 needles entire row, knit regular for 2 rows, then start wrapping 2 needles at needle 2, finish the row, knit 2 rows, wrap needles at needle 1 and so on?
I was confused at first, too. I think this is the pattern: Step 1. Pattern Row One - Start on needle 1 and wrap two all the way around. Step 2. Knitting Rows - Beginning with needle 1, knit two rows, but on the second row stop knitting after needle 45. Step 3. Pattern Row Two - Wrap two (needle 46 and needle 1) and continue to wrap two all the way around until needle 45. Step 4. Knitting Rows - At needle 46 begin two rows of knitting. After knitting two rows, stop after needle 46. Repeat the four-step pattern I hope this is correct. I'm going to try it today on a Sentro. If someone tries this and it's wrong, I apologize in advance. :-)
I am not clear on the row count. The first 80 are straight knit I know but the patterns, do I start the count over and do a full 120 rows, or am I to continue counting from 80?
Unfortunately I keep trying to do my videos in landscape mode but it's constantly putting it into profile. Maybe sometime in the future I will be able to get better equipment so that I can actually have my videos in landscape. Thank you for your feedback.
@@myaddi4874 when you have time could you please do a tutorial on the long tail cast on. I've watched one by someone else and just can't wrap my head around what she's doing.
I like the way you did the hat I've found the make hats on the addi they come out tobsmall for an adult . Doing the hat this way will it fit an adult better. It seem stretches out more than the base hat.
I had to go and look up the word Toque, apparently it's just an American or Canadian word for a beanie. I thought beanie was American that was adopted by UK, I guess I was wrong. When I was in my teens it was known as a Benny after a character in a soap.
Ciao ho provato il lavoro ci sono riuscita ,per fare il cappellino quanti giri bisogna fare ,sia il lavoro diritto che lavorato con questo punto. Hai qualcosa di diverso da farmi vedere , grazie
I think because these knitting machines create a loose knit, so having one layer only would not be very warm, you would be able to see your hair through all the little holes when it’s stretched out on your head.

First machine video I've seen use a different stitch pattern than stockinette, lovely work!

They’re just wool needles or yarn needles marketed for thick wool when I got them. Great pattern!
Thank you, you are so kind to share your knowledge

Lovely! And you make it look so easy. :)
Great video, would be nice to see on full screen rather than cell phone screen size. Please and Thank You.😊
You can get an attachment through Amazon where you can attach a dill so you don’t have to crank
like to see a video showing how to do this pattern in 2 different colour

I'm Canadian and a toque is a beanie here. I didn't know they. were two separate things
Loved this video!
I'm going to try this 🙏🏾
Such a beautiful pattern! But how warm is the resultant item? Eg if I use it for a scarf, would the gaps be too large to keep the wearer warm?
Lovely! Thank you for sharing this.
Wow beautiful
Beautiful!
beautiful good idea thanks for this video 😊
Bravissimo!

very pretty!!!
Can you do a pattern for a slouchy hat... Or can i add more rows to this to make it slouchy
I wonder what the row counts would need to be to make a kids version on a 40 pin machine 🤔
Thank you 🌹.
Donde comprar la maquina centro en caracas
I am not clear on the row count. The first 80 are straight knit I know but the patterns, do I start the count over and do a full 120 rows, or am I to continue counting from 80?
If I wanted to make a infant size like this what are the row counts for that?
Thank you that's lovely

Awesome! Can’t wait to try it! Have you ever used a second color for the design?
What is the difference between a toque and a beanie? I thought they were the same thing 🤷🏻♀️
The needle is a wool needle ..I have several..I love them..thank you for this pattern..
Is there a scarf pattern to match the hat?
Yo tengo una de esta maquina la compre y no puedo teger por que se salta unos 10 gancho y sigue tejiendo me podrían ayudar
Donde venden ese tensor
So if I wanted the brim to be smaller I could knit like 70 rows instead and then the pattern?
Lovely pattern Easier to close it that way when you use waste yarn
Where would you buy an addi machine?

Does this only work on the addi instead of the sentro? I tried on my sentro and the stitches stared dropping off both times I tried it.
Pamela, I made two on my Sentro 48 last night and they turned out great.
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
❤❤❤❤
có bán không ạ
I noticed the top of the hat has still a hole.
Why are hats always made twice if it weren't easy to make them simple then you would need less wool
I think because these knitting machines create a loose knit, so having one layer only would not be very warm, you would be able to see your hair through all the little holes when it’s stretched out on your head.
I wonder if this would work on a Sentro 48 needle machine?
Yes, she says it in the begining, just go 1 extra set,
@@tracylitsinger
I missed that part, thanks for the heads up ❣️
Can you do that pattern on a sentro
Yes she said it in the begining, you just go 1 extra set, 48 instead of 46..
