Heart Braid Beanie Addi King Yarn base: Big Twist Classic Black Yarn hearts: Red Heart Retro Stripe or Red Heart Bright Stripe Notes: 1. Cast in with base yarn add 65 rows. 2.     Ugh mine keep coming out upside down 😭 they look normal during knitting then when I close it off for the double layer they’re upside down. What did I do wrong??

      Hi! Are you following my row count? Don't start your hearts until you get to row 80 then it should work out when you turn your tube.

    This is great! May I ask if the cast-on row could be mounted on the pins of the last-1 knitted row to then knit a row and do gather bind-off, treating the hat like one big attached brim? I don’t see your video about a basic hat, for reference. Thank you.

    If I wanted to make a kids sized hat would I still do 16 rows for the hearts or would I want to do less?

    How would this work on a sentro 48 stitch machine

      It should work out fine. I have never used a Sentro 48 but many people have good luck with that machine and making hearts.

      Thanks! It's a T-POST clip and you can find them at tractor supply. One can also use any jewelry wire but it may bend with use.

    I believe you have pics on your IG where you have some redheart bright stripe fed into the pattern for the hearts. How do you get it to work out so the colors are consistent bottom to top between hats? Great tool and pattern. Thanks for sharing.

      I just separate (cut) each different color from redheart bright stripe so they are all lined up and ready to use.
