I think, any fight involving Superman is a bit more complicated than one might not realize. If you just go off of current feats, then you could argue for either one depending on the Superman and maybe even for Thor. Thor is a god, Superman is like a man who became a god. Superman’s abilities are reliant on the solar energy he has absorbed. Which means you could technically make him as strong as you want at the start of the fight. So if you start with them being at a similar power level, since As Superman uses his powers, the solar energy will begin to deplete. So if Thor’s fighting skill isn’t enough to take him down just with similar power level, then Thor will eventually overpower him. And if you go all in on maximal potential, you could say Superman is limitless in his power. Which if Thor doesn’t get more powerful over time like Superman can, then taking them at their absolute best, Superman wins due to having virtually limitless power.
Respectfully, you are wrong, very wrong. I have been reading and collecting DC/Marvel for over 50 years. The chatter of the two titans started in the late 70s long before anyone considered-Thor! Lou Ferrigno is the Hulk and Christopher Reeve is Superman. The fans started the "what ifs" and both actors deferred to the studios at the time. March 1978 "The Incredible Hulk" aired on CBS. In December of 1978, right before Christmas, Superman arrived across the world on the silver screen. The Hulk and Superman were the hottest characters at the time and nobody brought up Thor. In 1981, in a Spiderman/Superman crossover the Man of Steel meets the Green Goliath. "fists that shatter mountains slam into the body that can move planets." This is 15 -20 years before anyone considered Superman v Thor. There was one crossover in the 90s when DC/Marvel duked it out and the Hulk was pitted against Superman. Superman ended the Hulk with a three punch combination in the Grand Canyon. Not until the 21st century we saw Superman v Thor in George Perez's JLA/Avengers. Superman held Mjoinir, and beat Thor! (Game over) and this was in 2003, approx' 25 years after the Hulk fought Superman. So within 25 years there is far more material that has been produced about the Hulk and Superman than what you might know. Today there is still more animation and shorts of Superman v The Hulk. In 2011, Thor made his first appearance on the silver screen. Movie goers were introduced to Chris Hemsworth and he helped boost the popularity of the "son of Odin." By 2011, there was a 30-35 year gap from the late 70s Superman/Hulk to 2011 and to the present. There are far more productions of Hulk v Superman today than anything with Superman/Thor. Chris Hemsworth had a great run as Thor, but the character is coming to an end with Thor 5 stuck in Asgard, for now. "Superman Legacy" is white hot and set for a 2025 release. The Hulk fans will ''always be angry" for the Hulk ---"you don't want to make me angry" ... and " you will believe a man can fly"--I am not sure if Thor has a catch phrase🤔. The rest is superhero history. @@damianstarks3338

Superman:....Touché, another serving of waffles? Thor: If thou alloweth. Thee knoweth what, this breakfast is on me
Superman’s symbol of hope hax I think narratively would make him win because Superman is treated as basically being able to beat anything. But as far as just their raw stats and feats I think Thor should logically win if that makes sense. So it depends on how you define the fight.
Thor is way more powerful because he’s a god, Thor can keep up with silver surfer who can travel hundreds of thousands of light years in a couple minutes in strength they have both done something comparable to holding the heavens superman held the and Thor has fought Hercules and in some cases beat Hercules who held the heavens. The fight is close but I got to say if Thor doesn’t bring in the god blast superman would win so long as he’s near the sun or it’s shining on him but if the god blast is used thor wins. However this fight would likely last hours as Thor has fought armies for months and as long as the sun shines on superman he has enough energy to fight as long as he needs. But this fight is close.
For the dimension of manifestations and m-bodies having levels, you can use the statements of surfer and nate Grey for the local multiverse having higher and lower earths and same for the multiverse. Imo the superflow would be in the same level of the dimension of manifestation since both contains the aspects of beings, or you can kinda say uni eternity>Dom since m-body eternity said that what can destroy the Dom, would not be able to affect full uni eternity

I think thor has higher ap, he was able to one shot Galactus who had previously imprisoned eternity and he was able to match thanos in strength for 60 seconds without his hammer while thanos had the infinity gems which gave the avengers a .05% chance of victory, sure thanos still won but at the same time during that 60 seconds of battle thanos had nigh omnipotent power and was still matched. Not only that but thor defeated both mangog(a being that even odin fears) and a thanosi amped, this same thanosi was stated to be in base more powerful than the original thanos. thor survived in surtur’s essence who is an odin level threat or more. And possibly one of his strongest feats, he survived being inside the godbomb during its explosion and absorbed the energy which is powerful enough to kill all gods across time. Overall i think thor wins mainly due to his energy absorption because if Superman used his heat vision at all thor could easily absorb it and output it with enough power to potentially put down Superman for a short period of time.
If we're going currently Thor has the Odin-Force(Thor-Force) and is more powerful than even classic Odin but in his base Thor is multiversal. And Superman currently is around multiversal as well and going by all feats they're basically equal.

@@thunderblake4954 Stan Lee and Larry Lieber would be very happy with the description you gave of Thor, and I actually agree with you on most of your points. However, the problem is the weight of Superman's conceptual narrative within his cosmology which is granted by Detective Comics - you see, DC already implied that Superman represents the concept of "HOPE", they grant Superman unlimited - illogical power whenever his storyline needs it (this goes above & beyond plot armor), and they convey that the DCU revolves around him; making him the center piece if you will. Can we make the same argument for Thor? So, the question becomes: a character who represents DC in its entirety vs a character who is a very very powerful god - who wins? Furthermore, even if I were to normalize their conceptual bs and go off by feats, I believe that Superman could take it but we can make an argument either side winning. BTW you described Thor very well 👍
superman would have to half ass it not to kill him. there is no power scale comparison. its a ridiculous idea that thor would have any glimmer of hope. there is absolutely zero comarison. two completely different power scales. thor has a limit where sumerman does not. " of the biggest hypothetical heavyweight fights between a pair of Marvel and DC Comics' strongest heroes would be a battle between Thor and Superman. In a crossover comic, the two actually fought - where even Marvel agreed that Superman would be the God of Thunder."
Easy answe. Base vs base='s a literal Toss up. Both have the ability to beat the other. Either Clark wins using speed and comparable stats. Or Thor wins with overwhelming raw power and warrior skills. OP versions overall foes to Thor as hes got 4 or 5 versions that can beat or stalemate Golden superman.
I think DC characters run into a problem of having infinite power levels and invincibility. Superman being so strong to the point of him basically being immortal, just because of a yellow sun, raises the question of why kryptonians never left their planet for a better one or to conquer other planets in a way similar to Saiyans or something.

Also to note Thor wrecked a more powerful Doomsday on two panels then the one who killed superman so nah Thor had his liver turned to glass amd shattered and he just got up wnd won the fight. They are on par you can say but clarks definitely not greater except speed
Can’t Thor turn back time with his hammer (I THINK that Odin did that once or twice!)? If so, he can just do that . Also, his Godblast should be able to take him down. I say Thor, but it would be a VERY tough fight for him!
Though I'm a Marvel Superfan, but even a baby knows that Thor is not even in the league of that of Superman. It's an insult to compare Thor to the likes of Superman, the Man of Steel.
In the words of today's society... STOP THE CAP!!!! The fact that the majority of Thor's attacks are high level magic based makes this a clear stomp against Superman. Superman's will to survive or overcome haxes isn't going to help him in a fight like this. Thor's will, as a warrior, strives to dominate each fight. This fight is no different. So his will to win is going to easily match Superman's will to survive and throwing Thor's specific attack potency is simply going to overcome Superman in every way Thor wins no doubt
Superman has resistance to magic based attacks, so Thors magical strikes wont do much, due to scaling and hierarchies i have superman edging out more often than not
@captainforest can you post some references as to who's magic he resisted!? I'd like to see your source for this claim. In my opinion, I would agree that he is strong enough to overcome certain levels of magic... I mean, that's in his character 🤷 But, from the information I've read/seen, he has been suseptible to low-end magic users such as Maxwell Lord mind controlling him. Abra Kadabra turned him into a puppet. I mean, even Felix Faust has had him against the ropes, and he's pretty low on the list of magic users. Even Enchantress has rocked Superman with a punch... enough said... Hit me with your source(s), and I'll gladly reconsider my position if you have good info.
You clearly showed Thor has the better feats way more hacks but you gave Superman the win. Ok now make a video on how Superman can beat Galactus. You know he can't DC fan boy. The suns energy had no affect on Thor and that's the source of sups power PLEASE
I dunno where you got that from. The feat i showed for both, superman’s feat edge out more than thors. So you can keep crying and hate watching me. It only grows my channel :)

Superman is the weakest race in the universe.. that's why it perished. If Superman had grown up on Earth, he should have become a more real, weaker being. The gravity of the planet also strengthens the physical ability as it grows (Son Wukong), but the earth is a place with low gravity, so there is no strengthening of the physical ability at all, and if exposed to a place with low gravity for a long time, the body also changes weakly. So Superman has no choice but to become weaker.

Superman may have his speed punches, his Torquasm-Rao Torquasm-vo martial art, his non-violent precision point techniques, the ingenious combination of heat vision, x-rays and telescopic vision to attack specific parts of his adversaries' brains, multiply its strength and power through the Sun Deep, or the painful sudden release of all its solar energy called: super flare. None of this is up to what the Mighty Thor is capable of, without plot armor the god of Thunder will always win...
In a crossover comic, the two actually fought - where even Marvel agreed that Superman would be the God of Thunder."
try learn 4 once dont jx make arguments . DC is low balled
I think base to base Thor takes it mid diff
Good video 👍
Superman is the goat 😎
I think this guy did not read the latest issues of Thor. Superman has NOTHING comparable to The Odin Force. He did not Read Banner of War.
I did, superman still wins

@@captainforestNo base vs base is a toss up more OP versions Thor all day
I think thor has better AP and durability with their speeds being equal however I think Superman would take this mostly cause he has less unjustifiable anti feats and being less of a jobber and having what I like to call a more “main character status”.
I'm pretty sure supes has better durability
@@METRONxy Nah definitely thor
The real issue that superman might get from encountering thor i shis godblast, time travel, ressurection and energy absorption
@@METRONxyThor absorbed godblast which can kill all gods from the beginning of existence and Thor also survived unbinding stone blast which has the potential to destroy multiverse
@@TORI-EDITSZ Thor eventually died from the god blast tho. So he didn't tank it, he just endured it for a short while. That's still a high outer feat tho
I wonder if Hoencho Scales helped with this vid
He didn't. Honcho scales puts Thor above supes nd Damn near every marvel character above DC.
Dude isn't all that nd he's clearly biased towards marvel

FYI supior stats? Nope wrong wrong. Thor has Way better strength and durability feats actually.
Holding back Entropy itself for eternity >>> anything Clarks ever done.

Pulling the weight of 27 planets with ONE arm while WEAKEND >>>> so much more.
Also to note Thor wrecked a more powerful Doomsday on two panels then the one who killed superman so nah
Thor had his liver turned to glass amd shattered and he just got up wnd won the fight.
They are on par you can say but clarks definitely not greater except speed
Superman vs dormammu
Can’t Thor turn back time with his hammer (I THINK that Odin did that once or twice!)? If so, he can just do that . Also, his Godblast should be able to take him down. I say Thor, but it would be a VERY tough fight for him!
Come on, Superman can keep up with the flash, and thor can't keep up with quick silver. Like what u saying, Superman can dodge the stormbreaker attack
Asgardians arent imortals
Just look odin, bor
Though I'm a Marvel Superfan, but even a baby knows that Thor is not even in the league of that of Superman.
It's an insult to compare Thor to the likes of Superman, the Man of Steel.
Okay is not even far
The meat sucking is crazy with this one Thor has crazy feats u just don’t read comics lol Thor slams

So his will to win is going to easily match Superman's will to survive and throwing Thor's specific attack potency is simply going to overcome Superman in every way
Thor wins no doubt
Superman has resistance to magic based attacks, so Thors magical strikes wont do much, due to scaling and hierarchies i have superman edging out more often than not
@captainforest can you post some references as to who's magic he resisted!? I'd like to see your source for this claim.
In my opinion, I would agree that he is strong enough to overcome certain levels of magic... I mean, that's in his character 🤷
But, from the information I've read/seen, he has been suseptible to low-end magic users such as Maxwell Lord mind controlling him.
Dark red I diagree
You clearly showed Thor has the better feats way more hacks but you gave Superman the win. Ok now make a video on how Superman can beat Galactus. You know he can't DC fan boy. The suns energy had no affect on Thor and that's the source of sups power PLEASE
I dunno where you got that from. The feat i showed for both, superman’s feat edge out more than thors. So you can keep crying and hate watching me. It only grows my channel :)
And if you want me to make superman vs galactus, my paypal link is in the description. I dont make videos for free.
@captainforest you can't power scale to save your life. You had to use a superman that ain't even him by himself. A robot. Please
Holding the heavens was debunked tho
It wasn’t but you can believe whatever you want
nel, those skies were created by kane where the ocean zeus saw billions of worlds, I think it was in wonder woman #24
Even if it was… it’s not even that great of a feat compared to everything Superman has done. Superman’s heat vision matching a Great darkness Darkseid > heavens feat
@@captainforest it was metaphorical it was him lifting one's burden the writter said it himself because he answerd a fan question on Facebook or Twitter I think
