    I was pleased that you talked about how the screen moves with your head, and talked about the potential for software to affix the screen or smoothly move the screen with some lag. I definitely would like the screen not to move as much.

      Yes, the hardware is capable, just needs software. A developer has made it working on the steam deck, it's pretty good but behind a pay wall. Viture is working on their own version I know as the previous model has 3DoF beta but they remove that feature due to some backlash and maybe it's not up to their standards. Hopefully they can release it with a firmware update soon!

    • @likestech1873
      @likestech1873 2 місяці тому

      @@GrownUpGamingGUG Someone from Viture responded to one of my posts about 3DoF, and said that the neck accessory will allow you to pin the image. They only removed that feature from the glasses themselves in the pro version. The SpaceWalker app also will enable 3DoF. As long as I can get that somehow, I’ll be satisfied, I think.

      @@bionaut867 my guess is that they couldn't do both and nearsightedness is more common so they went with that. And the Myopia adjustment included only supports up to 500 degrees so there is technical limitations. Still this is better than it's competition currently.

      @GrownUpGamingGUG  2 місяці тому +2

      That's 3DoF. The hardware supports it but Viture turned it off as it wasn't up to their standards. Hopefully it will return with a firmware update. On steam deck there's a decky loader plugin to enable it. There's 3 modes, pin the screen, smooth follow and shrink the size and put it on a corner so you can watch something on the side while doing daily activities.
