On and off for another few months! Our routes were almost the same through Asia so we kept ending up in the same places but sometimes I just wanted to go my own way (it was supposed to be a solo trip!)
First sign of snow and tarmac coming to an end and I would have been turning round, lol. Well done, and I hope you can get back to it in the not too distant future. Ride safe.
Haha! I did ride my previous Fireblade in the snow before this trip when I was still home in Scotland but never at >5,300m! Still, it was just a little bit of snow near the top and most of it was actually clear so it wasn't too bad! Thanks!
@@RTWRoxy Actually it's not the Highest Motorable Road in the World, UMLING LA (situated in Ladakh) is the highest Motorable Road in the World (19,300+ft)
If it is only claimed to be the highest and not really the highest motorable road, then I would like to know which road is really the highest in the world?
Roxy hope u had hot noodles 🍝 in the army canteen up there in Khardungla... it’s the best when it’s freezing cold 🥶 up there.. I did the same and nothing beats that noodles up there 😅😋😋
Possibly! I think the coldest I was riding in my summer gloves was -17. I had winter gloves in the bags just didn't bother changing them haha. But it's weird that when I'm in Scotland I'm already freezing when it's (+)10 and need to put winter gloves on! Maybe drier air in Himalayas made it feel not as cold.

Everytime i watch your video i feel like i am there. Thank you for the tour and keep it up my friend.
That is a whole new experience. I cant imagine riding in snow and let alone a sports bike! Awesome video!! keep them coming.
Haha! There seemed to be some sand on the snow so it wasn't that slippery :). Thanks!
Wow!! Looks like an incredible ride. Challenging and a little dangerous but the views are priceless.

Roxy, you gotta be slightly nuts, in the nicest possible way.
Haha! Thanks! :)
What are you plans for getting back to your bike and continuing your RTW ride?
At the moment aiming for March but don't really know for sure, just need to wait and see when Australia reopens.
Hi what month is that?
Hi, it was end of October 2019 :)
Which month of videos is this
End of October
Early winter
👌🙏
Super awesome👍🌈🇮🇩😀
I can fully understand why Mark sneaked out in the middle of the night and removed several gears from his gearbox. I would have.... lol

What month did you do this?
It was end of October last year
Is this Ladakh or Himalayas, plz reply me
Its technically both.
Khardung la pass is in central ladakh. Ladakh is a region of the great Himalayas
Umling la pass is highest pass in the world
riding sports bike in off road haahaahaa
Even locals don't attempt this kind of challenge with snow up there, truly a feat of courage and will 👏
