So basically (just to help you out) what is happening is this here is the animated sequel to the original Moana. Both actors are reprising their roles. The live action Moana is the first movie, but live action (like The Little Mermaid with Halle). The Rock is going to play Maui in the live action, however, Moana will be portrayed by someone else. Also, Lin Manuel Miranda did not return to write the music for this sequel, but he is involved in the live action since it is the original Moana, and he needs to do the songs and help with recording/production again. Hope this helps! ☺️
I’m so excited for this!❤ I remember seeing this movie in theaters and it was amazing! This looks gorgeous!🥹💕💖👍 thank you for watching the trailer, I love your reaction!🌊
The music this time isn’t by Lin Manuel Miranda, but by Barlow & Bear, the duo that wrote the unofficial Bridgerton musical during covid. Emily Bear is also Beyoncé’s pianist for the Renaissance Tour. I’m curious to hear what flavours they bring to this, but I’m sure it’s going to be great. Emily is a musical genius and Abigail Barlow is a great lyricist 👏
Emily Bear is from the same town that I am from. Her dad is an orthopedic doctor and fixed my finger when I was 12 😂 Been reading about her since she was a little girl, so cool to watch her career get bigger and bigger!
i think you should react to the songs of Moana in Portuguese (Brazil), like "Saber Quem Sou", its voiced by Any Gabrielly (ex member of Now United, she represented Brazil in the group)
So i had a thought. Maaddi Jane just came out with a new remastered cover of Breakeven by The Script and it sent me racing down memory lane. Looking at them both, i honestly don't like the new one as much personally. Seems to me, though, that this could be a great "Then & Now" to how her voice and style have changed as she's grown.
not sure if you'd have any interest in it, but I'm curious if you'd react to some of the songs or the whole musical of Cotton Patch Gospel. (It can be found here on youtube.)
It's weird that Disney didn't bring back Lin-Manuel Miranda for the music. I'm assuming it's because this was planned as a show first. He's doing the musical for the remake, though, so that's something.
@inakomankuntsu1214 It's a shame that that's what he picked between the two. In any case, ot's weird since songwriters working on multiple projects isn't uncommon.
This time Pua the Pig will be introduced. If you like the Moana soundtrack the music was not only by Lin Manuel Miranda but a group called Te Vaka, who are a great Polynesian band.

Its coming out on my birthday
The original music creator ( the one who did songs for Encanto also did the music for moana 1 ) will not be doing the music in Moana 2 He was too busy
Any character voiced by Alan Tudyk (Heihei the chicken) is guaranteed to steal the show. So glad we still have him for the sequel.
Alan is HeiHei??

He couldn't come back because by the time production started for Moana he was already working on Mufasa

I believe Moana 2 is a Disney+ series, that’s what I read anyways. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️
I believe it was supposed to be a series but they made into a movie.
BRO JUST HURRY UGH
Disney is not and should not be worried about releasing with Wicked
Hiiiiii
Disney is not in any way shape or form worried about Wicked and they shouldn’t be either.
Wicked looks spectacular. I'm going to probably have a hard time deciding which movie to see first - Moana 2 or Wicked.

Moana, Coco and The Little Mermaid? No mention of Encanto? Personally, I prefer Encanto to The Little Mermaid.
