I’m new to motorcycle repair so bare with me, I bought two carbs ready to go for my build but can’t figure out how to remove the inside round slide with the needle so I can install the throttle cables
Does the pin sit in the slider really loosely? I have another tiny little clip thing it’s like a u shape? Not sure where it goes, on the inside of the black slider thing or on the outside where the pin sticks out!?
I installed perfectly ,but when I pull the throttle handle, it doesn't return back. The spring is correct. I even filed down some plastic inside the lever on the kill switch.??? Can someone help me???
Ordered my carburetor last week, and it didn’t come with a Pac-Man clip. The needle came with a c clip. Could this be the reason why my idle runs high for a bit then drop down after I hit the throttle?
I'm working on a OLD Honda c102 and I can't get the throttle cable unhooked from the carburetor. Should it just slide out once the cap is unscrewed, or is there a screw I'm overlooking the would be holding all of it in?
Can you tell me where I can find a throttle cable with the proper crimped end to fit into the round disc? I have found a lot on line but the crimped on barrel is sideways compared to what I need and what you have in the video. Replacing a broken cable.
My bike won’t fire up putting bbr tall bars on my pit bike and I had to put a new cable on it and she don’t wanna fire up sounds like it is not getting gas
I did this to put a new throttle cable and when I turn on my quad and it revs up super high and I don’t know how to fix and yes I did get the right size can sum one help me out pls
Probably not, vacuum draws the gas into the carburetor as the needle (gas) and slide (air) are raised by the throttle cable. Gas entering the carburetor by gravity is usually indicative of of a stuck or defective float or float needle. That's how the "tickler" primer works, it temporarily lifts the float in a position that allows the float needle to slightly flood the carburetor with raw gas for initializing a cold start. Whereas the choke creates more vacuum to maintain a rich mixture for the duration of the warm-up period.

No but it still works good but most likely online I made mine if u have a little washer and some nail clippers it will work
