Great tutorial bro.. you literally broke it down step by step showing a clear view of each part & you wrote out the name of each part along with specific details on how to put it all back together BEST VIDEO I'VE SEEN explaining this
Dude no kidding. How ridiculous is it that there are 3,387,3728,783 kart and mini bike channels but NOT ONE could I find with instructions for the cable. Thank yoj.
Thanks. I'll add for anyone who missed it - the video actually shows it correctly, but I missed it the first time in the glare on the screen outdoors. He says line up the slot with the idle screw, but the locator pin actually OPPOSITE the idle screw. Scared my kid half to death when I fired up his handmedown 110cc ATV the first time and the throttle was stuck WAO. Thankfully I had it up on blocks just in case.
Trying to get that damn throttle cable attached while holding back the spring, especially since it's a new spring going in, is such a pain in the ass. Without this video I would have given up🤦
I can’t seem to find the length of cable I need withthe right ends. I have a Coleman kt196 go kart I just installed a new carb with this pin setup. The old carb allowed a cable with no barrel end. Is there a way to run a cable through this carb with pin setup with no end on the cable?
When I put my new cable in, the slider doesn't go all the way down to bottom of carb, and it revs high when I start it. Is it the wrong cable, or could it be something else. I've taken carb off 5 times now and it still has same issues, Please help me somebody
@@stillben Yh, it was crazy, the cable i replaced was the exact same size as the one i took off but it was too short to release the carb slider when fitted, so i got a dremmel and took off 10mm from the cable protector at the carb end and now works fine.
@@anonymous2065 That's an idea. Yrah crazy thought it would all be standard. I found the cable guide that bends around was longer on my replacement carb, and was taking too much of the slack, so I am swapping that for my original honda one. My replacement spring seemed too long too so will try original though tired spring. If those don't work, will do your dremel trick. Good shout!
added a new carb on 1990 xr90 new carb had the little clip but no pacman clip......wont start now or if it does it starts wide open...slides in properly....help driving me crazy
Thanks! this video is very helpful full for me, Please whole video! of Suzuki Assess125, 2013 Model How far does that plastic housing for the needle and spring, slide into the carburetor??
I've watched probably all of these NT carb installs and adjustment videos but only recall ONE that mentioned the JET where the person found the jet loose, not even started~!
Don’t you think it would be more useful for viewers to hear your voice instead of that background noise - after all whatever language you speak someone would benefit.

Thanks for the video ,living where I do I don't have any mechanic near .I did everything like your video shows but the only problem I have is that I bought a new carb and can't get the old carb top off it keeps spinning ,Someone said that it was treaded ,I never changed a part that is treaded can you make a video on that or where you think I can find more info?
Ok so I followed the instructions exactly problem is when choke is on full and accelorate it stalls..and when I reduce the choke my quad revs it’s nuts off and tries to fly off, any ideas
Hopefully you're not still stuck, but for anyone finding this in the future - once you get the slide in correctly, head to the videos on tuning the mixture/idle setting. That was frustrating keeping it running long enough to set the mixture and idle - I had to go a bit overrich first.
Check that gas is coming out of fuel valve, valve has a pick up screen in it that can clog. If fuel is getting to the carb, check that main jet is not clogged. Also check that the float levers are operating and not cutting off the fuel.

Can I just buy or find a pacman clip? It's the only thing I'm missing.

No, this carb requires the cable with the end on it. We sell a cable kit to make a custom cable any length.

i can not find the cable set anywhere, any ideas
Why is the spring important please help me
Sam Dib - the spring is important so the throttle will snap back. Without it the carb would get stuck in the open position
Robert Whetzel funny enough I need a new spring for mine. It barely moves the throttle at all

OLMEC THUGS there might be a little set screw in the side you have to loosen
Threaded, simply means you screw the cap off. And as previously stated, it may have a set scew that you have to loosen.
