Keep the "Punch" theme going and do "A Punch Up at a Wedding" next!

It's been years since I last played this! I don't why, as I'm quite the fan of it. I've always loved that last line: "I stood in front of face when the first bullet was shot", and the image it creates in my mind.

I hear aspects of PLS in so many of their songs. I feel like I listen to it more than I actually do

Great song, been too long and brings back great memories, some gems in the older stuff reminds me of my renewed interest recently in Blow Out after the band played it live in 2018 ua-cam.com/video/2s60nLTuz4k/v-deo.html you can see how much they enjoy playing it and how good it sounds especially now with how experienced and tight they are as a unit since writing it. One of the comments under that live performance is Blow out is the first 'real Radiohead song', not far wrong, would be great to get a reaction on this channel!

Yeah, Blowout gets a lot more love in recent years. It a much more obvious example, RH seems to find some enjoyment in playing Creep in the last 10 years. I like to see that

For the mailbox-episode: Do Jakob listen more to Radiohead now, after starting the channel, like does he actually listen to Radiohead songs from time to time, by choice, and in that case, what songs?
Also: What's your best music-related memory together?
And for Scott: What's your favourite Pink Floyd-album and song?

Thanks for finally playing this gentlemen! I’m glad you enjoyed this Jacob. I love your podcast concept. I’d like to do this with my daughter when she gets older. Keep up the good work 😎

Love it. My kids know they can bring up certain topics and get my dad brain moving. The younger ones do it to delay bedtime. I know what they're up to but sharing my interests/passions with my kids hopefully makes lasting impressions.

Follow Radiohead's B-side songs Many songs have beautiful chord progressions. This song is great too. But I guess the content of the song Probably about not liking war. From the effects of the loss, is it right? As I listen to most of them. Interpreting the songs that Thom wrote is very difficult for me.

I never considered this as a prelude to Subterranean Homesick Alien before. How have I been so blind!

I hear this song in so many other RH songs. I feel like its core framework can be broken down into uniquely RH building blocks

I'd say it evokes cinematic sound early, like Man of War. The delay guitar evokes the SFX stings of certain television programs' scores of the time. The BBC stuff the band grew up with. It coming back at the end feels almost soap opera-like to me. I d k could be seeing things.

Thanks! I requested this one too. It's fun watching y'all's journey together. I think these songs will grow on him through time.

Sorry I missed you on the shout out. I absolutely expect RH to grow on him. That's why I try not to overreact when he gives a low score.

@@the15thfloor71 I imagine I'm gonna be a lot like y'all when I have my own. I think I accidently deleted that comment when I tried to edit it. Whoops.
Have you shown him Palo Alto?

Great one. Although I love Permanent daylight more off of this ep, most of the songs are top notch here.

Yes. Most of RHs b-sides could easily have found a place on an album
