Hi! I guess it depends on the instrument you are recording. With acoustic guitars it will probably sound smoother, but it depends on the result you want to get!
I know how crucial the mic placement is, I tried to match them as close as possible by marking the spot on the cab. Of course it won't be 100% in the same exact spot, but I'm pretty confident that this is negligible, this mics really do sound a lot different to one another!
