This is exactly what I’m after. I’ve always struggled to get a good bass tone with Helix (I’m a guitar player) but this really laid out some great fundamentals. Downloading and trying this out with my Sterling Ray4 and Ray34 as soon as I’m back in the studio.

Do the presets you can find online actually work for the HX Stomp? Because I own the Line 6 pod GO (which sadly appears nearly useless for a clanky metal bass sound, as it lacks parallel signal paths), and all presets I could download seemed to only work for the Helix, but not for the POD GO.
If I say/write they work for HX Stomp, they do. I design them that way.
Sadly I never had a POD GO. So I never made a preset for them 🤷♂️

Does it works with HX effects? As it doesn't support the cab/amp sim
Hmm, I think not. Honestly, I don't know much about the HX Effects. But since it doesn't load the amp and cab, I don't think it would work.
You can try and open it. Perhaps it just won't load amp + cab block, but the rest.
But I honestly don't know,, sorry.
I tried and it doesn't work :(((( I can't try your other presets. Thanks BTW for sharing!
@@FxMichel Sorry about that. I don't know the extent of the HX Effect, but can't you copy the settings from the video and make your own preset?

I am unsure which email you are referring to?
You can grab the preset from my website www.komposition101.com.
For this particular preset, go to 'Bass Presets' and have a look in the bottom of the page. There are a bunch of free guitar presets in the 'Guitar presets' section too :)

Honestly I love the IR, sounds amazing. Obviously the tone didn't translate 1-to-1 on my bass. However, I kind of took the general layout and ran with it and I really like what I came up with. So thank you for showing me the error in my ways of trying to make a tone for myself and thank you for the IR! You are amazing

I got 60 seconds in as the standard begging for likes and subscribes droned on. Never got to the rest of the video. Can't stand it when people do that. Yes, we are well aware of how likes and subscribes work, and we also know how to leave a message on answering machines without instructions. Just get to your content, and if we like it we know what to do. I downvote every video I see that askes for likes/subscribes, and i hope it catches on.

@@Komposition101 Because I never know if it's going to be 4 seconds, a minute, 5 minutes. I'm not sure why you think most people like hearing it. I realize many Tubers do it to panhandle subs, but it sounds pathetic, unoriginal and I assure you that we're all tired of it. I usually put up with it for 10 seconds or less, but still hate it. How would you like it if someone explained to you how to flush a toilet and wash your hands after every time you used the bathroom? It might get old and irritating eh? It's like that.

If your OCD is forcing you to say all that dumb, "Smash that like button and hit that bell icon so the algorithm will give me cash", crap, do it at the end and you might get more views and likes.
