I was at McDonalds last night and this kid that was ordering in front of me said "Um what's in the combo?" And I started DYING OF LAUGHTER the girl behind me started laughing too and I turned around and said "TEAM SUPER?" And she said team super and we started screaming. Anyways when we finished eating, we talked about Lilly for like an hour. 💕🦄

But you forgot the people who, once they are given their food, drive off when we're about to give them their drinks. Then they come back through the drive thru, saying how we "forgot" to give them their drinks.

I work at a fast food restaurant and my number one pet peeve is when people order a bunch of food and then cringe at the total price or say "umm...that's a little expensive..?" Like yeah cuz you ordered 7 chicken sandwiches 5 burgers 4 large fries and 3 medium drinks it's not gonna be $5!?

Yaaaas!!! I work at a certain Mexican inspired fast food restaurant and I hate that too!! They'll be like "Hi can I get a taco twelve pack all chicken tacos? I'll be like sure then they see the price increased by $7.20 and I'm like no shit! Each chicken taco is another 60 cents get it together people!!!

I used to work in a McDonalds drive-thru. I remember one customer who couldn't decide whether she wanted a filet sandwich. She had a long order and after I read it back to her, she'd say "you forgot the filet". I'd add the filet and read the order back to her again and then she'd ask me why there's a filet on the order. I'd take the filet off the order and read it back again and she'd tell me again there's supposed to be a filet on the order. I don't know how long this went on, but the conversation went in a circle: filet, no filet, filet, no filet, filet, no filet. God, she was annoying. On another day, it was raining really bad. A customer yelled at me because the rain made him wet as he leaned out the window to give his order. After he got his stuff, he left the drive-thru line, parked his car, and walked from his car into the building to yell at the manager some more about getting wet in the drive-thru.

She was not an immature girl in her mid- to late-teens or early twenties who was pressured by her friends. She was a grown woman in her thirties/forties with young kids in the back seat.
i served someone the other day and she ordered a meal so i asked her what size she said 'i want a large' she ordered a cappuccino with said meal, i told her that that would be an extra 40p she said that was fine, i rung it through she complained to my manger that it was more expensive than the board which clearly stated that the lower price was for a regular with a soft drink...

I've been working in fast food for about a year and this is so true! Honestly please just have your order ready when you go to the order board. Also dont take forever and check the bag at the window because we have timers that we have to keep low! Just be friendly and ready. Thank ya!

Hello one time me and my mom went through the McDonald's drive through and the lady said : how can I help you? and we said: we aren't even close to the speaker so we pull up to the speaker and order our meal but It should be like a car pulls up and then you say how can I help you? not when your like 1 or 2 feet away
theres a sensor that tells us that theres someone in the proximity to the speaker. we can’t actually see how far away they are from the speaker.

I work at McDonalds and we try to get our drive thru times under 90 seconds so when a customer stays there and checks their food without parking it takes up time and prevents us to reach our goal. It's very annoying

I think maybe the people that check their bags have a reason, and that reason is that the fast food place always screws up the order, so they have to make sure it's right and what they paid for. It's not like they just do it to do it.
I worked at a fast food restaurant and I agree sometimes there are mistakes,but we get timed for everything!!!! Stopping right at the window and parking to check everything slows the whole line down and gets us in trouble. Especially in the summer when ice creams are being sold. How hard is it to park and check the order
Well we go past the window then look in the bag. And if the fast food place I'm talking about would get the order right in the first place, we wouldn't have to check the bag. I didn't say it was hard to park and check the order. And "how hard is it" to remember the order and getting what we paid for, correctly. Sorry I'm being mean, but my comment wasn't towards all of the workers at fast food places, maybe I should of clarified that. With our experience and McDonalds, every time we go there. Almost every time, they forget something or get the order wrong and we sometimes don't look in the bag and by then we are already home and the recite says we paid something that's not in the bag. So excuse us for wanting to check if our order is right.

Girl. I KNOW. Worked at McDonald's all throughout high school. Drive thru was the absolute WORST. Then there's the special snowflakes who pretend to forget to give back the debit machine and try to drive off with it despite it being attached to a cable the size of a goddamn ship's anchor line. Oh, and remember when planking and owling were things that people did? there was also one where you ordered ice cream at a drive thru, grabbed it by the ice cream and not the cone, and then asked for extra napkins. Sounds horrendous, how often on a daily basis would you say you had to deal with planking etc when it was at its peak? And what the hell is owling?
Planking wasn't much of an issue, but the ice cream thing was an issue a lot because they would just toss it onto the ground. Owling was posing like an owl. And they'd do it all the time. In the booths, in the drive thru, in the entrance. Thankfully after like 2-3 weeks it died down but ugh. It was stupid.
I feel you. I'm sure you'll agree, working in the service industry you encounter far too many 'comedians' who think they are ever so original with one wisecrack or another (usually some joke about a menu item or somthing).. They never, ever are.
The other day we had someone come in and order a soft serve. As they were handed it, they asked "do you believe in unicorns?" And rammed it into their forehead. I thought it only happened in movies!
I thought it only happened in anecdotes on the internet...
That's why in Australia we're not allowed to split the bill in the drive-thru, it takes too long.

One time, when I was very little, I went to Wendy's and I thought that the lettuce and the tomatoes and other stuff came with the burgers (because I saw a picture of the burgers on the menu). So, I didn't want to order a number 1 and say "hold the lettuce and the tomato and the other crap" because that was too lengthy. I wanted to limit my conversation with the cashier. So, the most normal-looking burger on the menu was a Dave's Cheesy Cheddar burger. So I said "May I please have the Dave's Cheesy Cheddar burger with no cheese?". -_- I was so stupid! That's like saying "Can I have the combo with no fries?"

It's the worst because the second someone has an allergy we have to wipe down the whole freaking store and the street next to it, and change our gloves. Like I understand you have allergies and it's dangerous, but could you perhaps come when um idk the lineup isn't to Russia and back. That'd be great.
One time i.went to Arby's and this one girls like yeah I want a sandwich but im allergic to milk so the cashier is on there website to see if the bread has milk but somehow she gets her meal with NO milk. Im here like "ok I better get my meal before her"
thats insane lol, I'm betting the cashier hated her life after that. Customers like that are kinda a pain. If you have an allergy sort it out before you get there and slow everything down
When those people come through I usually tell them they shouldn't order their special meals through drive-thru. I'm not the chef and the only things I can take off are condiments, salt, and sauce on my screen. If they want a special order they can get out of their car and come to the front counter where I can physically write out everything they need done or talk to the people who make the food. I'm not wasting my time trying to figure out what you can't have along with the other customers who have to wait while I trying to transfer it to the chef.
Knowing you Lilly, you recorded this something like 2 am, you are sleep deprived and frustrated after having to do this recording over. But I totally enjoyed watching you loose it over, "What's in the Combo". I've been all of these people at one time or another so I totally get this. Smile!
