I haven’t watched the video but I’ll say it! IF NOVA’S ISNT IN THIS LIST IM THROWING HANDS! I know is not a full rework but MAN it’s amazing how the whole kit works now. Edit: I’m throwing hands
She was better before, and a lot of Nova Mains are unhappy with rework. All 4 of her abilities got nerfs along with buffs, and the nerfs outweigh the buffs for most. Her 1 still doesn’t scale well defensively due to it being DR, and DR having a sharp fall off point in enemy level scaling where it literally does nothing. (99.999999% of 1 million, is still about the same 10,000 damage per enemy bullet at higher levels) Also, the Cooldown timer added to it lowers its effectiveness as an offensive ability too, despite the buffs. Her 2, AMD, is now competing with Wormhole for most players choice of Subsume slot. The ability itself doesn’t deal much damage, and a weapon has to be setup to effectively charge it, but at this point an AoE weapon could be used to completely replace it. Before, Novas 2 worked independently of mods mostly, and had no Line of Sight nerfs. Also was recastable, and great for Shield gating at higher levels. Now, it needs Strength, Range, has annoying LoS nerf (can go off right next to an enemy, but because their left Toe was behind a rock, game says NOPE you missed) and requires a weapon setup to charge it, AND has hard damage caps so it still doesn’t scale all that well, and is no longer recastable or useable for safe Shield gating. Wormhole now has a delay in Multiplayer if you are not host, just because the game has a lag from checking to see if you tapped or held the ability, and now we can often Fall through wormholes if trying to cast them while moving when not host. This was never a problem before, and also I’ve never heard a Nova main ask for Holding button to see where we are going, because we have an Aiming reticle that tells us exactly where we are aiming the portal. For her 4th……the Disadvantages for both speed and slow M prime become greater and greater the higher the enemy levels, or depending on quest type. Because of this, “Neutral” Nova has been considered the strongest and best version of Nova at high enemy levels, because she primes the enemy without speeding or slowing them. But now, they changed her kit so that Netrual nova is almost completely dead, and if you do try to make one, it kills her other abilities to due the changes they have done. These are just SOME of the reasons why Nova mains are unhappy with rework.
@@abyssphantom6786 didn't pay too much of attention to Nova recently since i was busy experiment with Caliban, Hildryn and Voruna, and got lost on some thoughts using Nyx (which is another frame that needs the rework) I will grab my Nova and see how she is doing
@ I think she still plays well at base levels, and can still go to level cap without issues. Just, feels bad VS before considering how many more downgrades than upgrades she got, to many of us Nova mains
@@abyssphantom6786 ok, i just tested on simulacrum, but in terms of damage and kill, i think her null star is even stronger than before. The only thing i note is that you need to use Molecular Prime to increase the damage the enemy takes (200% and that can't be changed with mods), so strenght and range is good on her. Duration is for more particles if you wish and debuffs duration I use her with breach surge just to kill faster. The one downside i see with her, is that you can't spam null star by any means

I mained Caliban before his rework, and all I can say is "Wow, what an upgrade." He was already underrated imo, but I'm so happy they managed to make his kit feel lightyears better, while keeping his play style as a Crowd Control/debuffer frame
He wasn't broken per se, but not as half bad as people say it is. His main problem was survival, which agreed, his 4 ability didn't help since he doesn't get invulnerability from casting and you have to build on casting speed to strip armor. The other problems were utility and being limited. Now, every skill does something to the enemy or to yourself too, which i think is the point that DE wanted with Caliban
They just nerfed Wu Kong again..........i really wanted to try to stupid haha 6 violet arcon melee build. Also, i miss the puddle for Hydroid, should have just made it his crouch.
I was maining volt since 2013 and can confidently say he should be at least in honorable mentions. He didn't have a single big rework but a sequence of multiple medium reworks. Back then he was one of the worst frame and now he's consistently taking at least A tier in different rankings despite the power creep. To not to name every adjustment let's just take a look at what he used to be: There were no augments, so there was no way to make 1 a versatile and good ability. 2 was mostly the same, just not as good because of older melee system. 3 was much smaller (I guess 2x3 m), couldn't be picked up. At one of the intermediate reworks it could be mobilized but drained energy. 4 was one of the shittiest AOEs in the game. It was basically a flat aoe that kept you crucified for its whole duration. Old electric status wasn't the same, so you were risking to fkin die with every cast (you couldn't do anything). Damage sucked but it had a gimmick of exploding electronics like lamps and consoles (maybe corpus robots too, don't remember). However such explosion could be triggered only once per object. So on smth like defense mission only the first ult could benefit from bonus damage. Now take a look at him now. Every one of his abilities is good and can be played around. Shit I still main him and use him without the helminths and incarnons. He's so good that I don't need these dirty tricks to get most kills utilizing all of his abilities (however, mostly that's because we're so overpowered and meta is so braindead that even shitty setup can perform well). P.S.: also, interesting fact about old electric shield. It was increasing the range of shotguns and beam to infinity at the cost of increasrd spread
Next list: 5 warframes most deserving a rework (and maybe some suggestions for what this could look like)
