Nice to see Molly finally brought you your coffee
Flatbed Trucker Gaming she’s a good girl
Great video bro , great shout outs and information , Amazing Truck 😱 thanks for sharing , LOVED EVERY MINUTE 👍😎😍👍
I liked the video before I even watched it. And I wish I could give it 10xs more likes. The rambling was hilarious and molly getting you coffee was wonderful. I really hope you can get this UA-cam thing going enough you don't have to go back to work. I love the vids.
RC Excursion gawd I’d love that lol
That motor should make it rock. 👍👍
Nice truck
You can do the tubing thing on the outside, just remove springs and keeper, remove the the end off the shift slide on tubing and put stuff back together
I use zip ties on my erevo 2.0 to limit the shocks. Otherwise on big jumps the weight of the tire pulls the driveshafts out of the drive cups.
GDit i knew there would be running!!! ill be dipped👍🦅🦅
Cool truck must be tons of action fun take it on stoney trail lol kidding your a probably a better driver than real life driving vehicles I play bingo there I might n hope I can see u race that the g is head turning almost pulled a Linda blare when I seen that truck
That seems to be a pretty wicked power setup for that truck. The more I see it, the more I like the looks of it.
Nice‼️
If you want a cheap shock limiter try using some shoe lace or paracord with the center strands removed. Cut to length, melt the ends with a lighter, poke a couple holes and mount behind your shock pinching the shoe lace between the shock and the shock mount. Hardest part is making 4 the same length so the truck sits level.
John Buzzard I was thinking similar thoughts but with zip ties. Then I have the ability to click one a touch tighter to keep them even.
Yeah medic is awesome dude !! And so are you Lyle !! You guys got me back in the hobby 2012 !! And Ted's garag, I miss seeing Ted . Hope he is doing good !! Well just wanted to come and say !! I'm back to the video
The fuel tubing or hard spacer inside the shocks is going to be the most effective way to drop the truck a little! If you do it just make sure you put a little grease on the shafts threads so you don't tear the o-rings, and clean them before you put the ends back on.(If it doesn't work out, it's easy enough to un-do)
Swampers RC I’m probably going that way. I got the time lol
Same motor I have in one of my Rustlers. Sidewinder 3 esc. AN I MAL! Still waiting on Molly for the coffee eh??😅
chris slky one day lol
A thicker grease in the rear axle will act like a limited slip.
Tire structure seems to be pretty strong. I can't see any tire ballooning. The low profile and the 2S, low gear helped for sure, but as I understand it still was a 25 mph wheel off the ground spin.
I like how your head is screwed on! Great videos!
For the shocks to setup ride height, you can adjust droop by using heavy fishing line like u guys use for rc winches to loop around shock. Not real easy to set tho.
Could see if the top mount can be made taller to lower the frame more.
Also Regarding your driving style I drive same way. What I have had great experience with is by locking the front diff axle. This actually pulls you thru the turns and let's the rear powerslide out easily. This was on my HPI RS4 2 nitro 2 speed car.
The big thing I've seen going round right now is no prep drag racing, slam it on the deck and see what it runs.
MrSteve I need a speed tracker of some sorts.
That's it's a beast M8
Drift tire solution: Wrap duct tape around rear tire (in the direction the tire is spinning so the edge won't catch and peel back) You will have to experiment on how much of the rubber you will need to cover with duct tape. Too much and you'll get zero traction and not enough and it won't slide around as much. I use gorilla duct tape and it lasts surprisingly long. The lighter they are see the longer the tape will last. It works really well and is easily removed when you dont want to drift. I do it often on my traxxas 4tec 2.0. You can even use a 2S battery because not a lot of power is needed at all.
BLIND J I’m going to run this one by Medic. He’s got gorilla tape 😜
@@damedcamera It works well when I do it for my on-road 4tec 2.0 that has stock traxxas rubber tires. I cut thin strips of tape and am only covering 1/3 of each tire right down the center. I only wrap the tire about 1.5 times And it has lasted multiple battery packs. I can then just pull it off and go 60 mph with the same tires. Good luck, and keep up the videos man. 👍
I would love to see that thing run at Afro's drift track
Go Lyle go like get yer get yer motor on.
Thee Ev?
Okay pretty good video watching and u and rc sparks hopefully you guys can find a way to do loading Kings
Dennis Sullivan probably a rare one or 2 but no season.
Awesome
Love tearing up the Asphalt on 3S, and all the rig needs, is a decent amount of drift power!!! Awesome video man!!! 😎
I would love to see how the strap shock limiters go on. Medic did it on one of his rigs but didn't film how he did it.
That truck seems awesome low end power and quickness with that setup ! Great job!😉👍
It needs a pinion an spur twist and it’s goin to rip
That was awesome! Yes, it did made the truck come alive in my own opinion. Hmmm..was wondering. When I was doing speed runs and didn't want to mess with the shocks, I went to my mechanic and asked him for some sticky wheel weights. They are usually in grams and have an adhesive tape on it. You could stick it on the chassis and lower it down just enough so that you don't need to mess with the shocks. You help me, I try to help you. It's what the hobby is all about. Cheers Lyle.
Hedge Hog my only worry is tire wear and additional drive train strain. Don’t think weight is my answer but I’ve done that with crawlers before. It helps in the right situation 👍
No worries . Thank you for another vlog about R.C..🇨🇦🔥✌️✌️
Geoffrey Humphrey you’re welcome lol
silicone ear plugs is what i use and their cheap . some of the guys i race with use silly putty.
Randy Hauss interesting...
Man all you guys do a great job keep it up 👍
Rubber bands could limit height
you got this brother keep up the videos, love what your doing with the truck im hoping to get one soon. cant wait to see were this build goes
BUILD IT LIGHT & WIND IT TIGHT!!! 😈
Hi, how are you :) love you channel
There's always a serious need for speed!!! Even running a bitchen dually!!! 😎
MAKIN A COOL TRUCK I'D SAY!! AWESOME POSSUM 👌
the sound system is cool but can get old..... why did an engineer do something differently?
You could try packing some thick automotive grease into the rear diff, that might give you more traction but still have some give. I am glad you are going a little different route than a couple of the other guys that got these trucks are. It's interesting to see how the truck handles different modifications.
i think the Castle was the best way to go.... i hope more see that and go that route
LOL I didn't know you even had any 2s rigs bro
Seamus RBNW just a couple hard bodies.
I love your idea for this truck, I am so interested in following this project! Also I want his truck and make it like a super spec'd out show truck. I really hope there will be some options to put lights into it to make it full scale!
Bram Otten yeah a light kit would be great
I wonder how it will act with a locked rear end and open front
The rear will get locked before spring. Hope it stops the roll overs
Not much travel in that suspension. You might be better off trying to lower the body, although as an on-road rig you don't need a ton of suspension travel. Try to do some of both and your CG will reward you with better handling and less roll-overs. -"Angry" Dave
*TRENDING!* creator on the rise section wow congrats man!
You're a good guy you deserve all the subs you get. Keep up the good work!
i got that esc setup in my drag slash .....shes got some torque and even more so with a mamba x esc lol
what about 1/8 exceed RC drift car? tires and rims
Wrong hex size....and the adapter would make the front tire hit the body in a turn
Do you plan to pull a trailer that thing with a gooseneck would look so scale
RC 4Life not this truck. Hoping to build a second truck that’ll tow and go off-road.
Maybe try a set of scx10 90mm shocks with some thicket fluid and stiffer springs to drop it but still handle the weight.....could get it down a bit lower...or some on road car shocks since I have no clue who long the shocks are on that truck, lol!
Az Froggie's RC and more it’s probably next on the list. Electrically happy now lol
I thought I wanted that dually. Not so much now..
Well done mate, knew you could get to 20k, let's keep this going, how big can we get?? 😁😁
Its pretty quick to do putting in limiters lowers it and stiffens it up at the same time.Do they make a spool yet ..lol
Can you tell me the diameter for the cen f450 trailer hitch ? Does the axial scx10 fit on it ?
Congrats on the 20K ! I'm sure you will get a lot more. When I subed you were around 2k and that was during season 2 of YTG. Totally diggin the way you are going with the truck! Old NASCAR drivers used to chain the left side suspension for races. Maybe limit them that way so you don't have to rebuild them? I don't even know if that would be possible on the RC but in full scale it would...
would running wheel spacers on the front axle allow for more stabilization at faster speeds while turning? Also, what is the sticker price for one of these bad boys?
also, I am not sure on the shock size that comes with this truck, but I do know the TRX4 shocks run on the smaller size, can't think of the size at the moment.
Nick Winter no spacers yet. Can’t say no to that yet though. You’ll have to check locally to you for price but around 4 bills.
Hi
Now all you need to do is lock up the rear diff and i think it will be wicked
Huh ..you lost me in or about the 20th aye .. I tell you .. Canadians ...😎
After the 20 eh there was the 21st! lol!! jk jk jk (-;
RC ATHLETES 🤣😂🤣😂 keep those vids coming ...
What about using small bungee cords to lower it a bit
That thing is going to rip! Especially on three cell. 2wd slash with that motor pulls wheelies at 30mph, haha. Good choice sir!
Hey dude your not on you tube gold baby. Anyways cool. Just subribed brother
I loved this video. you are putting so much more effort into your productions. I think it was whipping real good on 2s lipo bro.. and the heat problem.. SOLVED! Fucken eh!
RCSparks Studio thanks bud!! It’s a fun truck. Ya missed a small section where I lied about the 2s though lol, that was 3s 😝 lowered the body and changed pinion today. Going playing in the morning #teamrcsparks
Yo dude I broke the front axle housing of the cenn f450 do you think I can make a all metal yoda2 all metal axle work.
Air bags.
Joe Georgevits lol
What’s your main goal with this truck?
Ruler of the parking lot!! 3s class :D
That might be a good sound system but I’d be annoyed as heck the way it don’t jive well with your throttle input. Sounds like a car sitting in place revving in neutral or something. I came over from Aaron’s channel too. You’re doin great too, it’ll get easier each video. Cheers
The RC Guru thank you 🙏
Cant even hear the sound kit to much I would just take it out
doug Oconnor the weight might be helping. Seemed more stable with it.
You need a better mic
