Get mine 3-16-21 I went with the blue I've never even seen one up close or ever owned a cen product but I can tell you now I'll end up owning atleast 2 of these!!!Not only am I a ford fan but these trucks are versatile imma make a tow/hauling/pavement princess.Then a scale dragster brushless go fast scale basher!I'm glad it's got open diffs so you can control it!If your going to make a big ass crawler/mudder/snower then yes lock em!!!But if not you would have to be a moron to lock em!
Great job on the demonstration!👍 That's a really cool feature they've built into this truck. The more I look at this truck the more I like it! (It's still tempting to see if they make the bodies and wheels available!) For $370 US it looks like a great deal! I would like to see it next to your TF2 for a scale comparison!

I was wondering if the same could be accomplished by putting a slightly larger pinion gear on the motor. I have the truck. I don't need it to be super fast but I would like it a little faster on the pavement. But I don't want to lose the torque because I like to do some light off road running and I tow a 16 lbs RC boat on a big trailer. I wish there was a 2 speed (auto) trans. I know they exist but if anyone knows of one that will easily go into the CEN 450 please reply.
My driveshafts won't spin while attached to the motor after switching to high speed gearing, wheels are completely locked up. I'm not sure what I did wrong. My mesh isn't too tight, any looser and it starts to slip.
Good morning Tony way off topic but i didn't really get to run her last night was a little dark. I'm only using a 3300 mah 50c 3s as of now. I should be running 5500 as you already know lol. I was worried about a grinding noise in the back when you push it. Pretty sure it's just the metal gears i popped off the cover and the gears are in line. Thanks Tony for being welcoming and helping out a Newb!! 😎🤘
Transmission should be fine. Diffs may need the aluminum casing added. Not sure yet. Plan to find out though 😉 I’ve got the heavy duty diff gears and cases on standby.
CCxRC that’s what we(gap, myself, mobay, etc.)want to see. I say it’s more the for the scale guys honestly, I’m looking at it as a hauler and also maybe testing some other waters with it. 😈
I need your help, the truck makes a whining noise and won’t move, I thought it was the gear but they look and move fine. Do I need a new motor? And it’s getting very hot almost Instantly, same with the wires

Great vid Tony, I just got mine and i was wondering how to switch to high speed gearing, I'm surprised how easy it is.
It is very simple. Gives more room for additional power buy changing the pinion at a later time

Can you put Tamiya diesel truck rims and tires on this truck, and give it a more stock looking Dually?
Would have been awesome if you were able to change gears with a servo and 3rd channel vs opening it up to do so, but very cool either way.
If you take it all apart make sure you put the mini gear on the output shaft above the pin
