Hello I would like to become a mechanic for Bird I have strong technical and programming background experience. I can take any of this scooter apart to a bolt and back together without a problem. And I am huge supporter of last mile program. I live on the border of West Hollywood, Beverly Hills and LA so it’s super busy tourist and young UCLA/USC students area, so needless to say Bird is in huge demand in my neighborhood. Nice story but the truth is that Bird's mechanic program was a big FAIL.
They shipped them all to a 60 man crew in Detroit and we repaired them all until bird stopped sending them.
