You should do a video about the college admissions process for Homeschoolers.

You're so well articulated and easy to listen to for anyone that isn't a native English speaker (like myself). I wish you made more tutoring videos except for the college test prep ones. I've been admitted to a university and I can't seem to find any good youtubers out there as experienced in the area. I'd love to hear you talk about study techniques, how to study more efficiently, how to take good notes etc. as well as how to prioritize and balance your lifestyle when you're in college. Thank you so much, I applied your test prep techniques and tips in preparation for my TOEFL test and aced it :) if anyone knows any similar high quality on-topic channels you'd recommend for when you've actually been admitted please let me know!

3:47 If you repeat the same passage over and over aren’t you gonna start to remember answers? And if you do a different passage each time, won’t you get tripped up based on level of difficulty?

I took the test cold in February and got a 29 however I’m trying to raise it to a 36 by the time the Sept 2018 test comes around...what prep books do you recommend? I have the official act red book, the Barron’s act 36, the black book, and the Princeton review which one should I focus more on?

    • @laylachristie3705

If you need to become more familiar with the types of questions and time yourself I suggest the Princeton Review book because it has hundreds of questions for each section. It is still a good idea to use the official ACT book because it is the most accurate and gives you tips tailored to each test. I'm taking it the same day. Good luck!

Also, do you think the ACT Best Course Ever help rise my 25 to at least a 30? Or a perfect score?

Ediane -- that depends on where you're starting. I have one parent who emailed me the other week and said just by using the explanations from one test (the series we had offered for free earlier this year) and studying them for a month, his daughter improved from a 19 to a 25. Obviously every person is different and your results will depend on how much you apply yourself and put into the process. I do know, though, that this same advice I give and the same explanations I give to my regular students has helped many of them secure scores 3-10 points above what they started with (obviously everyone starts at a different place).
