SupertutorTV so if I have a whole word document on answer I get wrong and solutions and review those questions once a week is that identifying my mistakes. And for English and the other ones they are online I review the wrong answers and see why the other is right.
I know someone who took the act 5 times and ended up with a 35. 1st try was a 21, 2nd try 24, 3rd try 28, 4th try 31, 5th try 35. He then went back and deleted the 1st 4 attempts. What a lucky nut. This was in the span of about 2 years also.
Got a 23 on my first practice test without studying, I’m hoping to get in the 30’s in April and overall goal is a 34+. I know it requires a lot of studying but I’m determined to do it
So I just took the April 8th ACT test and I just want to say this...Thank You. Your channel has given me confidence and an advantage going into the test that I wouldn't have had any other way.
ikr what the hell this makes me want to brush my teeth with milk and salt while tapping my foot on yellow-stained grout lines between 10*10in tile from home depot
i took it cold and got a 28. if i would’ve prepared better for the reading it would’ve been a lot higher since i missed 17 questions at the end due to the lack of time. :(
Yea I got a 25 from taking it cold. I’m using Princeton review for my second test and I’m pretty sure some of the questions are a lot harder than the actual act.
SupertutorTV I have a question! Next year, I will be a junior and I will be taking Honors Precalculus. Is it ok for me to take the SAT2 Math 2 test in June? Is that a good idea? Keep up the great videos!
yes because the sat2 math 2 doesn't test calculus. it tests up to precalculus and trigonometry, but knowing more math than you need to is always helpful
Yeah, the test wasn't that bad yesterday. I usually only get to 65/75 on English but I was able to answer 72/75 yesterday. Math was a little harder than practiced & everything else wasn't that bad
I hope you can help me this summer to tutor me about ACT and SAT... I'm gonna take ACT this april 19 and self-studying is not my habit... I am more confident when someone teaches me about something especially when I learn new strategies from my tutor... I am a grade 11 student and hoping to have a perfect score on ACT and SAT, if possible and on how to write an essay with deeper vocabulary... I want to go to universities like Stanford and maybe Harvard because they offer STEM that I want... I like your videos by the way.. you will help more students to achieve their dreams..
Hi, Brooke. I love your videos! I was just wondering if you had some advice for me; taking practice tests is really hard for me because I tend to get extremely lethargic, so I only do well on some of the sections and not the others. During the real test, there are factors that keep me active and focused, so I'm not worried about trying to simulate a real test when I'm taking a practice test. Taking the test section by section helps me a lot more, and I feel more confident knowing I can score a certain score on each section of the test. My question is, are there other ways for me to improve even if I don't like taking full length, 4 hour practice tests? Time is also an issue, since I don't have much free time over the course of the week. Thanks so much!
@@name_null0108 18 is NOT average, 21 is average, and that is still 10 point slower than what you need to be even considered for a competitive college.
So I'm taking a residual ACT Monday. If I run out of time, should I guess (letter C) on the remaining questions or leave them blank? Is it better to have a 51/53 questions answered correctly rather than 51/60?
It depends on what college you are going to. It should say in their website which one they prefer. Also, if you are better at math, then you will probably do better on the SAT. If you are better at English/Reading, then you will probably fare better on the ACT.
Did the ACT online prep from the actual ACT website. studied for 40 days for 3 hours at least. Score improved by maybe 1 or 2. Waste of my fucking time.
Keep calm, watch time, make sure what you're doing is helping you. I studied 3 hours at the very least for 40 days. WITHOUT TIME. and when the actual ACT came. I got a fucking 19. I knew how to do everything (hardly besides math), but when I practiced, I did it thoroughly and had as much time as I needed to think it through and confirm my answer.

7:05 you say like getting a 28 is a bad thing.
For the type of colleges the people who watch these videos want to attend a 28 is at least 4 points too low.
28 can still get you a free ride in a lot of places.

Monique Heggs how
is one month enough to study for the ACT or do I need more time to practice.
Britney Spears more like is half a day enough? lul
For one topic maybe
You can increase your score in a month, but if you want to see massive improvement you would have to be studying on a longer term.

Uh is a 28 a bad ACT score? @ 7:00
Not really, but in context, she said that those students were expecting scores around 35, which is much better than a 28.
It’s not a bad score but it’s not a competitive score for competitive colleges

Southern Swan probably too late, but there is no guessing penalty on the ACT so guess on every question if you run out of time.
