Welcome to the third episode of our new fox shooting series on Shooting & Country TV! Foxing with Mark Ripley (aka 260RIPS) is a monthly series based around fox control using predominantly thermal imaging and night vision kit.
This time, we have a mixture of daytime foxing and nighttime foxing, as Mark spends a morning and a late evening at a farm with a fox problem on a mission to clear it of the pesky predators.
It's a seriously successful exercise, and the farmer's wife - and her chickens - can relax for now, safe in the knowledge that this particular band of Charlies has been dealt with, swiftly and humanely. - Спорт

Set the camera up behind you showing you and the target in distance. Add the cross hair shot in. Brilliant.
Remind me to run if I hear u shouting oi ha ha great video
Brilliant 😂 only RIPS can strike the fear of God with a simple cry of "oi!"
Glad you enjoyed it... look out for next month's episode
@@ShootingCountryTV o yes for sure myself n my nephew will be waiting, in fairness 260 is a pure gent
That he is :) We're lucky to be working with him
Er... Just brilliant! 👍👍
You guy's are really professional,I am loving your channel, keep up the brilliant work 👍👍👍
Thanks so much Colin, very glad you're enjoying our efforts! 😊
A second fox ran past when you shot the first one 🧐
👍
The surgeon at work, how did anyone dislike this video!
Vegan? Packham supporter?😂
👍💯
I alway found on the farms I cover : if I shot the young foxes it was a negative reaction later in the seasons less-foxes or a long span of time for them to return to higher numbers 🦊
Nice shooting, the drone footage is coming on. When are you going to satisfy your viewers with some more 600-800m crows and magpies.
Thank you 👍
Currently doing load development with the 260 after the eu banned the powder I was using 😤!
@@260rips I've found reloader 16 and 17 to be good for the 6.5creedmoor also been told reloader 26, slower burn for more speed and all readily available down here.
@@richardharvey1637 getting pretty good results with the n160 at the minute 👍
@@260rips looking at 6.5creedmoor it's quite slow, using reloader 17 I'm getting nearly 2700fps with a 147eldm and not up to max charge yet. Pretty happy with that.
@@260rips what powder did they ban? W⚓s!
Love your videos keep up the great work I am after buying a plusa 2 xp 50 some pice of kit I am using 95 grm 243 bullets for foxing what grain would recommend mark cheers
If your rifle shoots them well then stick with them 👍 for foxing in a 243 I generally like either the 58 grain or 75 grain stuff but my mate uses 105 grainers in his 243 and it works really well for him 😉
What camcorder do you use for the night recording?
Hi mate we are using a Panasonic hc-vx980
@@260rips thanks, much appreciated.
What happens to the dead foxes?
Did you see the one run behind the first one
Yes we spotted that one, there were a few there!
This the only way to get them I am not against fox hunting but this is times better the rifle man can see he takes the shot and it's done some will say poor fox 🦊 but they need controlling and this way it done
