In the eighth episode of Foxing with Mark Ripley (260 RIPS) on Shooting & Country TV, we are out in the middle of the fox mating season, which throws up some great opportunities... these foxes aren't interested in calls, but they are also far too distracted by their courting to be quite as wily as you'd expect.
Mark starts off by trying to bag a deer to get that venison he missed out on last episode, before turning his attention back on to his favourite quarry... and the one he can't ever seem to avoid, even when he's not looking for them! We've got some stunning thermal footage of amorous foxes chasing each other round, and loads of tips to help you make the most of this time of year.
Enjoy, and we'll see you in the New Year! - Спорт

@@260rips Hey Mark, have you stopped making vids for your YT channel because of their changed terms of service/ code of conduct? Understandable if so.
You need to take that rifle back Mark ! The bolt is on the wrong side for talented left-handers like you and me 😂
You look awkward handling it , but it doesn’t affect your shooting at all ! Another great video.
👍🤗
Great shooting mark, we have a 4000 acre grouse moor up in North Yorkshire if you fancy a day shooting foxes drop me a message.
That’s very kind thank you!😉👍
Nice pest control
Hi 👋,I’m not a gun owner but looking to start if u can when u shot a fox or foxes what do u do with them? Are the eat them or what? Please can u tel me as I’m not in your world until I get my gun license thought
Hi Emma, generally the foxes are left in the farmyard so the farmer can see you've had a successful night, and are then incinerated or disposed of safely. We would not advise eating fox!
Great video Mark, you don't see that very often 2 for 1. What are your thoughts on the iray tube? I have one myself and absolutely love it.
No that’s a first for me!
Yes I must say I’m very impressed with the InfiRay - I could well be tempted to buy this one!
@@260rips I don't blame you it's a great scope. Keep the video's coming mate👍
Shoot one get one free 😆😆 do you sell double glazing??
Lovely stuff 👍👍
😆😆
Maybe that's why there's not much about these days!lol Lads with rifle and thermal, nothing has a chance. Control has to be done, but killing everything in sight is just that....killing, not hunting.
When there's a job that needs doing efficiently, thermal is a very valuable tool. All foxes shot on this series are shot because they are causing problems for the local farmers, and there is certainly no shortage of foxes in this area.
Oddly enough I shoot much the same number of foxes over these farms no matter if I use nv, thermal or lamp 🤷🏻♂️
At least they died happy 😝
