    In this month's episode of foxing with 260 RIPS (Mark Ripley), is back out with his .22 Bergara for a fun morning of rabbiting. Stretching it out with the help of the Element ballistics App, Mark makes a nice dent in the growing population of rabbits that need controlling in this area.
    Later, he's out armed with the Mauser M12 in .243 as he gets back to his first love - foxing!!
    Enjoy a day-to-night hunting session with everyone's favourite foxer.

    I'm amazed this bloke can't see in the dark as is.. hell of a scope on the thing. I always love the set up I've just got a few 22. Pcps but it does the job. Think I might get a pard as well. You should do a full gun room tour I'll bet you have a few by now

    Might need to cerakote the 243 now..after the rain at end of video..
    Thanks for sharing..
    Not seeing a fox for extended periods certainly changes the feel of a fox hunt ..

    Good shooting Mark. The Element Optics scope seems to run well with the Pard add on. It was interesting watching you use the app to work out your drops and scope adjustments.

    Good distance on the 22. Looking at getting a pard for the 223, on a hawke vantage scope. Would that work OK?

    • @260rips
      @260rips 10 місяців тому

      Should do as long as the scope has a parallax adjustment should work fine 👍

    If you need to look at an app to shoot something you shouldn’t be on the internet bragging about your skills?

    • @260rips
      @260rips 8 місяців тому

      The app simply gives you your drops for the range conveniently on your phone rather than on a written job chart. As I’m sure you know, anyone shooting long range will be using either an app, ballistic calculator or drop chart to get an accurate firing solution, anyone who isn’t is simply guessing which is inhumane when shooting live quarry.
      I’m not aware of any ‘bragging’? Perhaps you could give the time stamp where this occurred? Thanks for watching 👍
