  • The Yeehaw 3D Printer was an attempt at crowdfunding a 3d printer for kids.
The company folded quickly and left an army of these printers without an app, parts or support.
Let's take a look under the covers. Check out my other channel @TakeItApartChannel

You will own nothing and be happy. This is the reason I'm never buying anything that needs a cloud. Unless I can selfhost that cloud on my VM

the little chip, is probably a anti-paralel diode to form a "crowbar circuit". if your polarity isnt right it shorts the input, and if the psu is stronger it will turn into a constant short.

That's absolutely correct! I removed the shorted diode and the DC input card is fine now.

I saw you repair a Sony DR80MD and am hopeful have a repair video for an error message I cannot work around. It blinks I have a paper or ink roll problem. Changing paper roll and ink rolls does nothing and same message persists. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Your explanations are great. Thanks

Try running the printer without a cassette. Make sure you change the paper AND the print roll
