Would love to send this link to someone I know who seems to have watched a video like this one only to misunderstand they are NOT the things TO do but rather things NOT to do. (example: ALL of her clothes are toooooo tight!) I'd happily send her the link to this video but I know this wouldn't do her any good. Sometimes we forget about posture, shoulders back and stand up straight. It's easy to find yourself hunched forward and it makes anyone look older than they are. Your so right about bra's, most of us keep old favourites for too long. I've just had a clear out and like you purchased a set of 3 bra's from M&S 😅😅😅

I agree 💯on the footcare and changing old jeans into shorts. And a flared jeans with heels and a silk blouse with as much buttons loose as I can get away with just looks so wonderful🥰

Great video Annemarie! ❤ My top hack is dying things are faded, have stains or whites that are no longer bright. In fact I'm currently wearing a formerly white shirt that I dyed pink and it looks great! 👍I love your channel and I hope you get your silver play button. Xx
I definitely appreciated your advice re shoulder pads - I’ve been trying to figure out why some of my tees are not fitting smoothly in the front - I thought at first they were too small. However I have very small and narrow shoulders so if go up to a larger size they are too baggy. I finally realized that due to my narrow shoulders and short torso the shirts need to be “lifted” a bit in order to fit smoothly over my bust and midriff. So I bought the shoulder pads!
I’m also of the generation that converted old jeans to shorts (hence the term “cut-offs”). May I humbly suggest that you run a stitch, either with a sewing machine or by hand, just above the new, cut length? This trick will help to prevent ravelling, especially since the material most jeans are made of is a twill weave i.e. cut on the diagonal, and fraying is inevitable.

Oh, I love shoulder pads! They really give your outfit more structure. I do recommend trying ball caps 🧢. They sort of jazz up your outfit. (Especially with a summer dress)

I don’t save anything now for “ housework or gardening “ for exactly the same reason you gave . Today many clothes are casual and are fine to wear for all purposes - if I really have to I have a pair of overalls . This keeps the decluttering to a minimum
