I’m sorry to disagree with Birkenstock. I have the same one I bought when I was in Germany last year. It hurt my feet so much after walking for a while. I thought it just need to be broken so I wear it every now and then. Unfortunately it still hurts my feet if I try to wear it for longer walks. Very disappointed for the price I paid for it.
Comfort is priceless--yes, I agree. Especially in shoes. Our feet support us all day every day and it's worth it to buy good, comfortable footwear. Be kind to your feet!
With aging, foot issues, weight gain, menopause, breast cancer survivor; Birkenstocks are my all day, every day shoes for the last 6 years . And will continue!! Love my extra energy to get things done because my feet, legs and back are supported.
I'm 61. I've been wearing Birkenstocks since I was in my 30's. I live in a 4 season state so I have clog types and sandal types and they are the best. For 30 years I've been wondering why everyone thinks they're ugly. But I'm also the queen of tie dye! Love your channel.
Always put your money into shoes you wear every day! I always check the weight of a shoe before I even try them on. We all have issues with our bodies that relate to foot support. I love your selections and drawing attention to this issue . As you get older when people compliment something your wearing the first response is "it's just so comfortable" . 😘
My most comfortable '9 hours on my feet' shoes have been Skechers 'Go Walks'. My heavenly un- believably comfortable favorite sandals to walk in were Clark's cloudsteppers with a back strap. Both of these are casual in appearance. I also have a pair of Clark's booties with the Cloud stepper insoles and a wedge heel. Also comfortable, and with Pants people think I'm wearing boots. 🏃♀️ I'm over 60.
I’m so glad to hear someone say that tile and hard wood floors hurt their feet! I thought I was the only one with “sensitive” feet. I have worn my Birkenstock foam pool sandals everywhere this summer-so comfy!
My mother impressed upon me at a very young age, that 2 very important things to take care of in life are 1.Teeth, 2. Feet (always buy very good comfortable shoes)
Thank you for your positive attitude and non-judgemental, charming, helpful and honest presentations. Because of your delightful shows I actually went to Walmart looking for the items. Unfortunately most of the Walmarts in Oregon do not have any clothes at all! I found one that did but it did not have any of the cute things you featured. I will order through your site rather than waste my time going to Walmarts that have no clothes. Your story and your victory have been a real inspiration to me as I recover from an accident and help my husband with his cancer treatment and deal with bad reactions to the Covid vaccines. As the hits just keep coming and the world seems to be turning into a Max Max movie, you have been a source of hope and humor and kindness. Thank you so much!
Oofos are amazing shoes. I wear them in the house. I used to have lots of feet pain but no more due to The oofos and on cloud. These two shoes have changed my life
I learned early on (at 17) only wear comfortable shoes. Thank goodness, I have rarely had any foot issues over the past 4 decades. I recommend staying far away from cheap shoes (Walmart, Payless, etc.) and only wear Ecco, Birkenstock, Clark’s, Vionic, Spenco, Keens, Merrell, Ryka, and the like.
My comfortable shoes are from Ecco, Earth, Taos, Blondo, Palladium, Altra, and Chaco. Also did you know you can clean cork bed shoes with a baking soda and water paste and a toothbrush? It really works, those dirty marks will come right off!
I like the last "ugly" shoes that come with buckles. I love those the best I can adjust them for socks! My favorite shoe ever. I live at the beach and they are a must have!!!
Totally agree with birkenstock! The ONLY sandals I used when we travelled to Europe & Asia. I wore the plastic birkenstock in our beach trips in the Philippines (btw gorgeous beaches). Didn’t bring any other shoes. Wore it from the airport. Solved my foot issue. Thanks to my podiatrist for recommending this brand. Saved me from foot surgery.
Like you, I will spend the $$ on shoes because of my back issues as well as my 4-5 mile walking exercise regime every day. I’ve loved Clark’s for years from sandals to boots and have always loved New Balance shoes for walking, they work best for me. Whatever works for you as far as comfort, go for it! Any $$ is worth it for happy feet!
I lived in Asia for 13 years. We always take our shoes off at the door and slip on an indoor shoe/slipper similar to the cloud slides to wear in the house. Most homes in Asia are hard floors, no carpet so having a designated indoor shoe saves your feet. 😊
I believe as Asians, no matter where you live, you have to change to your indoor slippers once you get home. Never wear outdoor shoes when you enter the house! 😏😉
My daughter taught her children from the time they were little to automatically remove their shoes when entering a house. It keeps the outdoor dirt out. Such a healthy idea.
Oh man I will tell you once you wear Birki's you will never let them go and they lost forever. I got all mine at QVC long time ago and they are still good. Once you get use to them they feel so good on your feet, legs and back. They are great!!
Embarrassingly, I have to admit that I have many, MANY shoes I do not wear because they are uncomfortable. We do tend to gravitate towards certain favorites. For me, especially, after bunion and hammer toe surgery ( 2007), I just have not been the same and can only wear wedges or a block heel. Clark, Sketchers and a brand named Cliffs are the most comfortable for me. Thank you for another video, Angela!
Hello from Quebec, Canada, I love my Birkenstock sandals so much, I purchased Birkenstock insoles to get the same comfort in my other shoes, I paid $65 for them but I find the comfort they bring really worth it.
Totally agree, I have at least 15 pairs. Different styles but the original wobble board sole is my favorite. For dressy shoes, in addition to Clark's, try Rockport.
I totally agree with everything you talk about, foot health and comfort is so important for overall well-being. One problem I will mention that I have continually that makes it difficult to find comfortable shoes is that I have narrow and very long feet. The shoe industry seems to have mostly forgotten about people who have narrow feet.
That's a laugh! I have wide feet, and the shoe industry doesn't care about us either. With any kind of pointy shoe, with most brands I would have to go up a full size to avoid squashing my toes (I don't buy those brands, actually). But, Vaneli makes both narrow and wide widths, as does Naturalizer and Munro American.
Thank you, Angela. I totally agree that comfort is the most important ting when buying footwear! I have had birkenstocks for 30+ years & still love them!
I wear oofos that are extremely comfortable, had them for 10 years. They now have slippers!! I cannot wear shoes without a back except for the oofosa. The most comfortable shoe I got at comfort pluss store silvery gray, when you put your foot in is like heaven! Expensive but worth it.
We all become like Robin Williams said when playing Mrs Doubtfire. “women in comfortable shoes“ I have heard about your No 1, you are right they do look ugly, but if you feel like you walking on air, who cares, and whilst once upon a time we may have cared. With age comes wisdom 😊 Thank you for your upload, been a fan of Clark’s shoes all my life. I live in Australia, we have them here too.
The best cushioning I've found is Joyas, and they stay cushiony, they don't flatten out. A little pricey, but you can get sneakers, boots, leather shoes like mary janes, or sandals, so you can usually find something appropriate for different jobs. When I was working 12 hour shifts and had to stay on my feet the whole time, they were a lifesaver.
Hi Angela , nothing to do with clothes but my friend has a white Maltese and gives him distilled water only and it keeps his face white as white. No brown stuff at all on his face. Just thought I’d share. Love your channel. 💕
Thank you Gina! I have heard that and only give him water from our osmosis system BUT, some other people in my house, LOL, don't do that and just give him tap water!! Grrr
Hi, I am 100% agreement, at our age if it’s not a comfortable shoe regardless of cost I don’t buy them. Hooray for comfort. Wish we were neighbors. Stay well.
There is a saying in the horse world 'Bad feet-no horse' essentially indicating an animal that has no value. That is how I felt until I discovered Oofos and QC shoes. Just realizing that there are options available can be a game changer. Great info! Thanks for bringing more awareness to the issue.
Totally agree!! Don’t mind spending more on comfortable shoes….I’ve always worked in an office atmosphere…I wear the heels still at 63…. No more than a 4 inch heel! Although the first thing I do when I get home…shoes come off! 🙏🏼🥰❤️
I live in my Birkenstocks. I wear a 7 in most shoes and the 37 fits perfectly. I also have some Ecco booties (37) that are great for the winter. I have yet to try any of the pillow slides.
You are so right. Once I built my new house all hardwood and tile I couldn't figure out what was wrong with my feet!!!! What a terrific video. Thank you
I just suddenly started having pain in my left foot several months back. So bad I was limping. Being a nurse, of course I self diagnosed myself online, and probably it’s plantar fasciitis. I wear Dansko clogs at work, which are supposedly good for such a condition….but not such great shoes the rest of the time. So, I got some Vionic shoes, Vionic slippers, and Birkenstocks. I also got several pairs of socks with compression around the arch of the foot. No more pain. Just in LOVE with the Birkenstocks. Always thought they were ugly as hell, but now think they look great and they feel sooo good!
@@SIKHRAJ-1699 the brand is OS1st, they have a website. I have the compression plantar fasciitis socks, they have two types, one is merino wool, the other just a regular nylon blend, I guess. The merino wool feel a little more compressive, I like them better.
New subscriber and am turning 65 years old in November and I finally bought a pair of Birkenstock....then I ordered another pair. Lol When I was in high-school I wore them all the time. What goes around comes around is so true.
I have the cloud slippers in the buckle style. Love them. My feet are super narrow, so I have to have adjustability. That’s why I love my Birkenstocks and spend the extra on them.
I’ve had plantar fasciitis twice, and both times I had it in both feet. The On Cloudswift running shoes have been the only thing that makes my feet feel normal. They are worth every penny!!
I can't wait to buy a pair! I've been looking for a good, comfortable shoe! Knowing you also have had plantar fasciitis and it helped with that just solidified it for me. 💗
My daughter gifted me with a pair of Allbirds sneakers for Christmas 2019 and 3 years later they are still my alltime favorite for comfort. Ugly, yes. Comfortable, DOUBLE YES! If you don't like ugly shoes, just avert your eyes from my feet.
I almost ordered Allbirds they recently had a sale. I was too late, size 8 and 9 sold out. Which style did you get? Did you size up? Most styles don’t have wide available. Would love to know your thoughts.
@@goldie4245 She gifted me with a pair of the Tree Runners in my true size (11) and they fit perfectly. Comfortable all the way through their third season!
@@m.alicegreen I have a wide flat foot. I didn’t see wide widths. They suggest sizing up for wider feet. Last sale all popular styles and colors sold out fast. Will hope for another sale! Thank so much!
I know that a lot of people think they are ugly, but Crocs actually have many many styles and they are so comfortable. Definitely recommend for those who have larger/wider feet, or anyone with joint issues (great cushioning for arthritic joints for example) I personally wear the croc flip flops around my house and the Bistro Clog is great for colder/wet weather. They have a non slip bottom and no holes.
I bought a pair of croc platform sandals and the rubber rubbed the top of my foot, causing a blister so i hardly ever wear them. It's so hard to find the perfect shoe 😒
For women in the UK, there is a brand called Terraloom now that is specialised in comfortable work shoes for women. They have a lot of cushion on it and still look very stylish. My wife works for the NHS and she always buys from them. They have a specific collection for healthcare workers.
I thought I was the only one that suffered with bad foot problems. Totally agree good footwear is priceless. I recently discovered sketchers foamies. Mine are a double strap nude slider with buckle detail. What a game changer !
I know what you mean, my old feet have walked many many miles in a lifetime. I love the slip-ons that Walmart has but only in the Spring they sell them. I think I will get the last pair of saddles, thanks so much for the video.
I love Birkenstocks. And I did the same thing when my Daughter purchased her ugly Cloud Slipper/Slide Shoes. She said Mom try them on you will love them. She was right They are soo comfortable 😮. Your House is so Gorgeous!! You should give us a home Tour. I would love to see it inside & out :)
I had the same issue with my feet. It felt like I had a bruise on my heel. My doctor told me it was plantar fasciitis. When it flares up, I also wear cushioned shoes and never go barefoot. I love my fit flops for this.
I hear ya! Comfortable shoes are a must. I am in FL in the winter as well. I would like to see outfits for Florida winters. We don't wear jeans, blazers, scarves and boots. (Except maybe two days) we would like to look stylish & put together without looking like a tourist.
@@villiehaizlip7626 I live in SC, and love boots more than anything and only get to wear them 2 or 3 times a year. I once had a closet full of winter clothes that I loved. Never got to wear them and after 50+ years I only buy clothes that I can wear without sweating. So I get darker, thinner material clothes for winter, and sweaters rather than coats and I LOVE COATS. I also accumulated a closet of beautiful winter coats that still had the price tags ( I gave them all to Goodwill). Why did it take me so long to understand that my love of winter clothes was never going to work out???
Your heel pain foot problem is mostly likely Plantar fasciitis. I have suffer with this on and off until I final saw a podiatrist. After learning some stretching exercises and more importantly the type of foot bed in my shoes, I no longer have problems. Birkenstock is one of the recommended shoes. Other shoes that work for me are Vionics (love them!), Naot, Dansko. The key is a firmish footbed and arch support. I have also used inserts in my shoes that make a BIG difference! I hated throwing out some of my shoes that didn't have a good support, so I use these types of insert. If the shoe is too tight with the insert, I will sometimes pull out the shoes insole. I wish I knew when I was younger how important the footbed and arch support are for avoiding foot pain! Oh, my stupid youth! LOL
Wonderful video Angela! Had foot surgery 10 years ago and foot comfort is my main objective when buying shoes now! I feel like comfortable shoes are an investment and I’m ok paying a little more for comfort. Thank you for giving us some great shoe options!!
I have a pair of Keen walking sandals. They look like “old People” shoes but I wore them exploring Ephesus and Istanbul and Rome and Athens and my feet were comfortable and well supported. I have a high arch which means support is crucial. Go Walks by Skechers are comfortable short term but do not offer proper support for a high arch. I also love a walking sandal because your feet don’t sweat like in a running shoe.
Love my Birks!!!! I have plantar faciitis and they are the best for that issue, for me anyway. They have many other styles of shoes for different styles. My next Birk purchase will be the Boston clog!!!
I got 2 pairs of cheap pva slip on sandals at Hobby Lobby. They are the most comfy shoes I ever owned! I have had no blisters, my callouses don't hurt at all in them and they don't stink. I have 2w feet and these fit! The best part is no latex to react to.
I have the pillow slides and I love them. My sister and I both wore ours IN the rocky bottom lake this summer and it did not damage them at all. Highly recommended.
I have two pairs of UGLY shoes and I would buy them in every colour. Although tempted to wear outside I never did. Clark shoes are always a good choice. I never could get used to BIRKENSTOCK but I have many same type shoes. I agree with your choices.
Yes! I only want comfortable shoes. I completely agree with Clark’s and Sam Edelman. I have tried the other 3 you mentioned but Dr. Scholls are extremely comfortable as well. I bought mine at Kohl’s. Love your videos!
The Pillow Slides that you showed are also my most favorite comfortable shoe. As you also mentioned, I know they are not the most attractive, but I can't help it, I were them mostly everywhere I go! (except for my steel toe shoes for work). After I broke my foot last year, I was in a walking boot not a cast, and when I was not in the boot at night before bed or around the house, this is what I wore and was the most comfortable in. If I lived in a climate I could wear them year around, i would! ❤
New viewer here. Totally relate how our choices of shoes change when we get older. When I visited my son in Vietnam 4 years ago (I was 65 then) something happened to my feet. It was like a plantar fasciitis I could hardly walk. I missed out on a lot. I'm Canadian so I'm sure those prices are higher. I'm definitely looking for a good shoe for walking. Thanks for sharing your favourites.
I am a longarm quilter. This means I am standing almost all day when I am working on a quilt. Birkenstocks are the ONLY shoe I can wear and not have pain by the end of the day. I pretty much live in my Birkenstocks. I wear them with socks too 😊
Angela when you recommended the pillow slides previously for foot pain I got them the same day. After a year of terrible foot pain in less than a week it was gone. Thank you!!!!
The only shoes I wear are barefoot shoes. Xero shoes are my favorites. I can’t wear anything with an arch or that is not completely flat. I need to feel the ground. I know that probably sounds weird to most folks, but my feet are in great shape. I’m almost 50, no bunions, good high arch, no pain or problems. After wearing the barefoot shoes for a year I tried to wear Birkenstock again…no can do. Feels like I’m walking on a platform or something 😂🤷♀️
I have the same style Birkenstocks and sneakers. Living in Florida with tile floors, I second what you say about closed cell foam sandals. Mine are Crocs. For formal occasions, I wear FitFlops.
With bad feet and years of spending well over $100 on sandals for the summer. I picked up a pair of the cloud sandal dupes from WalMart while grocery shopping. They are every bit as comfy as the famous ergonomically designed sandals (Not talking Birkenstock) and cost around $15. I also use them around the house and as pool shoes and have even taken to use them for grocery store runs. I love them. Another very comfy shoe - SAS. I just bought a cute denim look fisherman sandal from them that is so comfy. They also are quite pricey but if I can have relief I will gladly pay.
Since I work on my feet 8 plus hours a day. My Skechers are what helps me the most. Can’t wear high heels any longer. I have been slowly donating the shoes I no longer wear. I also wear slip on shoes that are not flat and have a lot of cushion. I have a pair of Guess that are gold glittered that I receive many compliments on. I love me some Clark’s also. Thank you for another fun and informative video. Hi Bentley!😘👏🥿👟
You have to pay more to get a good support shoe. Birkenstocks are my absolute favorite! And they are back in style! Lol. I have the ON shoes but to me they are not as comfortable as Hoka. Those black pumps maybe pricey but they are timeless! They never go out of style.
Danskos are my go to shoes after 4 foot surgeries, a hip replacement and two knee surgeries. I have to wear really well-made orthopaedic shoes that come in wide-widths so even some of these in your video won’t work for those of us who have real problem feet. At this point, I literally don’t care how much they cost. Having shoes to support your feet, hips, ankles and knees becomes extremely important. No more Clarks heels for me and I’m okay with that but glad for those of you who can still wear them.
Everything I have is from Clark’s . They are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I wear Rebocks for exercise though. Real leather and comfort is worth the cost! The Birkenstock’s kill my arches.🙁. Wearing plastic shoes does not work on my feet. Thank you for your channel! You are a lovely young lady.🥰
Grandma taught me about foot care young and I have never regretted the lesson. Good quality shoes are pricey, but they are healthy for your feet and repairable. I have shoes over a decade old with plenty of life in them. Realize you will have quality shoes for at least 3 years and consider cost per wear. You will tire of them before they tire of you. Grandma's Brands: Clarks, Sperry, Arlo, Ettiene Aigner, Timberland, Totes, and Ugg.
I loved your grandma's list. I'm not used to Clark's shoes but been wearing Clark's flip flops 2 summers and have to retire them soon cuz of fading. I've worn them like always except couple cold months. Super comfy, even more comfortable sketches flip flops.
I am a true believer in comfortable shoes as well. I love Clark’s too and am going to get those low black pumps! Never heard of the “On” or the cloud slippers, but am intrigued. I have very high arches though and usually wear vionic shoes- they are super comfortable too. Thanks for this info.
I discovered the Swiss engineered On Cloud shoes 5 years ago and since then I cannot wear anything else. Today I bought the fifth pair on cloud push 5 cobble flint. Super comfortable and lightweight plus cute!
Great video! I have a really Petite foot, girls 2/women's 4, and it's really hard to find comfortable shoes that look classy and mature. For tile/hardwoods, I swear by my Crocs! They have excellent arch support and cushion insole. I don't really care for the ones with all the holes, but the flip flops from Crocs are cute and come in many colours and sizes!!
Hi Angela! You look so pretty! I spend big bucks for shoes that are comfortable. Gotta protect my arches! My favs are Birkenstock’s, Sorel hidden wedge bootie, & Merrill’s. They are all ugly but at least I can walk for miles without pain. Love your videos and your little dog too!
I got the Walmart ones - yellow with happy faces. They are so comfy! All of the sudden I am having heel pain, and these are saving me. I don't want to walk anywhere without them.
Clarks sell the most comfortable shoes! As I’ve gotten older ( I am 50 ) taking care of my feet is important, I do suffer from plantar fasciitis. I wear Brooks sneakers and I love them. Great video!
My feet have a lot of special needs, and it is always a challenge to find shoes that are comfortable. Your cloud shoes reminded me of the pair of Hoka recovery slides that I discovered this year. At first glance they are not the prettiest slides you have ever seen, but OH! They are sooooo comfortable! I can walk all day in them, inside or out! You may want to check those out.
I swear by FitFlops, I have had multiple knee surgeries and stand on my feet all day for work. I have been wearing them for 5 years and love them. I have multiple pairs in many colours and styles.
I stand all day for my job. I also have foot issues. I have had plantar fasciitis in both heels at the same time. I have sent alot on shoes looking for comfort. Two of my favorite brands are Vionic and Dansko.
I bought the cloud dups from Target 🎯 and one day I left them in my back patio and they shrunk 😭I guess because the heat, a few days ago I saw them at Walmart for 5 dollars I might go back and get them 😁
Hello, sweet Bentley! Angela, you're speaking my love language. I love shoes. The Sam & Libby boots are fabulous. In my teens, 20s, and 30s, I lived in high heels. Not anymore. I have no feet issues, I just prefer comfort now more than ever. A good pair of sneakers are a must. I've never tried the Cloud Slides, but everyone seems to love them. It's great that they come in so many colors. I may just have to grab a pair, and save them for next summer. Thanks Angela. Great suggestions. ❤👟🥾🥿
Angela you have to try the Crocs women’s Brooklyn Mid Wedge & Low Wedge Sandal! I bought 2 pair of the Mid style & 1 pair of the Low. Better than my “Brooks” & “ON” sneakers for comfort! I wore them everywhere all summer, even all over Prague with all the cobblestone! They were way better than sneakers/running shoes. Try them!

Same! I wear my skechers in the house all the time. Yes hard wood hurts my feet!
Yes,. I've been told rarely-never go barefoot,. Shoes ok. Or supportive slippers...🙂
Also concrete floor if on it a long time
Oh I lo!ve those also
Especially these new fangled floors. My legs started hurting until I started wearing shoes inside.

Vionic? Never heard of them
My comfortable shoes are from Ecco, Earth, Taos, Blondo, Palladium, Altra, and Chaco. Also did you know you can clean cork bed shoes with a baking soda and water paste and a toothbrush? It really works, those dirty marks will come right off!
Thank you Sarah Facci. What a great tip. Never dreamt this was possible.
Love my Altras.SOOO comfy!!!!!
Ecco the best!!
Cleaned my cork beds w baking soda in the fall & was so glad they were in my closet waiting for me this spring, great tip!
I like the last "ugly" shoes that come with buckles. I love those the best I can adjust them for socks! My favorite shoe ever. I live at the beach and they are a must have!!!
Your shoes look so clean and brand new like they never been worn even once. I wish I could keep my shoes in such good condition.
We do that in Norway as well
@@kataiga We do it on Finland also.
We do that in the US, too :)
I haven’t tried the cloud dupes yet. They look soooo comfy! Ugly doesn’t matter if they keep your feet from aching!
You are not alone! We have all bought cute shoes hoping they would also be comfortable only to find they were not for more than a short time 🙈
I need that surgery but I'm scared to death.
Haven't found a Dr. I feel comfortable with.
I agree when your feet are comfortable you can do so many things. Comfort is more important then style.
I love my birkies, so comfortable..at 67 I need comfort and some of the styles are so cute now. another good video thanks!
Hello from Quebec, Canada, I love my Birkenstock sandals so much, I purchased Birkenstock insoles to get the same comfort in my other shoes, I paid $65 for them but I find the comfort they bring really worth it.
I love this forum that seems to be developing as comments about various shoes that help our feet I love it thank you Angela for your video
I love the FitFlop brand. I have the sandals and slides and wear them year round. So Comfortable!
Totally agree, I have at least 15 pairs. Different styles but the original wobble board sole is my favorite. For dressy shoes, in addition to Clark's, try Rockport.
My daughter gave me some Birks for Christmas and they do come in a narrow width.
With age comes wisdom 😊
Thank you for your upload, been a fan of Clark’s shoes all my life. I live in Australia, we have them here too.
My favorite and most comfortable shoes are. 1 Birkenstock's 2 Dansko 3 Clark 4 Easy Spirit 5
Nike Air
Stay well.
I LOVE Birkenstock’s. I’ve worn them for 20 years. The most comfortable.
Skechers Go Walk and Skechers Goga, not memory foam, are very comfortable. I have learned that as we age we lose the fat on the soles of our feet.
At my age, it seems to have crawled up to my tummy, lol.
I wanted a pair if those but we went done to a 5 and then they don't make them smaller. 😥
Love my sketchers especially for waking there my go to shoes!👟
I love my Sketchers Arch Fit slip one. They are cute and comfortable!
There is a saying in the horse world 'Bad feet-no horse' essentially indicating an animal that has no value. That is how I felt until I discovered Oofos and QC shoes. Just realizing that there are options available can be a game changer. Great info! Thanks for bringing more awareness to the issue.
Oofas are my choice. They are the best. I live in them
Oofas are a god send for foot and knee arthritis 🎉
Totally agree!! Don’t mind spending more on comfortable shoes….I’ve always worked in an office atmosphere…I wear the heels still at 63…. No more than a 4 inch heel! Although the first thing I do when I get home…shoes come off! 🙏🏼🥰❤️
I agree! Comfort is the most important thing we need with shoes.
Angela I totally agree..I spent about $50 on sketchers flip flops and those are the only I wear 😊
Try Archie's flip flops, very comfie.
I love your sweet furbaby. Thank you for including him/her in your video.
I also have same issue, Can you share where you got your socks from? Like brand and style name. I need them too along with good pair of shoes.
Lol
When I was in high-school I wore them all the time. What goes around comes around is so true.
Thank you Jill and welcome! 🤗
My husband HAD plantar fasciitis and he researched what to do… he quit eating sugary things. Within 3 days the pain was all gone ! Gone ! 😉👍🏻
I can't wait to buy a pair! I've been looking for a good, comfortable shoe! Knowing you also have had plantar fasciitis and it helped with that just solidified it for me. 💗
@@DenaeK I hope they help and that you love them!
Thanks for outing the Birkenstock, it has taken such a "fashion hit" but I love mine❣
@@m.alicegreen hi there
I know that a lot of people think they are ugly, but Crocs actually have many many styles and they are so comfortable. Definitely recommend for those who have larger/wider feet, or anyone with joint issues (great cushioning for arthritic joints for example) I personally wear the croc flip flops around my house and the Bistro Clog is great for colder/wet weather. They have a non slip bottom and no holes.
@@infjandcoping4614 no I haven't but only because I'm already tall. :) I might try them thanks!
I wish they'd bring back the Sloane platform flip flop. I tried the new ones but, of course, they just aren't the same.
I bought a pair of croc platform sandals and the rubber rubbed the top of my foot, causing a blister so i hardly ever wear them. It's so hard to find the perfect shoe 😒
Crocs are not good for sweaty feet.
Hi sue
I know what you mean, my old feet have walked many many miles in a lifetime. I love the slip-ons that Walmart has but only in the Spring they sell them. I think I will get the last pair of saddles, thanks so much for the video.
I love Birkenstocks. And I did the same thing when my Daughter purchased her ugly Cloud Slipper/Slide Shoes. She said Mom try them on you will love them. She was right They are soo comfortable 😮.
Your House is so Gorgeous!! You should give us a home Tour. I would love to see it inside & out :)
Thank you! I've done a tour video of the first floor and view of the lake in the past.
Since I will be down in FL too this winter, I am sure I will gear the clothes more to that environment so you will be in luck smile 😊
I'm in Fla And I Do wear those shoes, especially 👢Boots.
I now have 8 pair of Birkenstock now! I just love them! So comfortable!
Thank you for being a reasonable voice for comfortable footwear. I appreciate your choices.
I agree with #1 and #2. I have both and yes comfort is priceless.
I LOVE my Birkies!!!!!! I also have foot trouble and I wear the Mayari - soooo comfortable and conforms to my high arches!
Hey
Welcome Dianne!
Love Birkenstock….so comfortable !!
I love hearing this!!! So thankful they helped you!
Hi 👋
The only shoes I wear are barefoot shoes. Xero shoes are my favorites. I can’t wear anything with an arch or that is not completely flat. I need to feel the ground. I know that probably sounds weird to most folks, but my feet are in great shape. I’m almost 50, no bunions, good high arch, no pain or problems. After wearing the barefoot shoes for a year I tried to wear Birkenstock again…no can do. Feels like I’m walking on a platform or something 😂🤷♀️
Just a shout out to you Angela! You look so sweet with your hair up and that perfectly pink scarf. It’s a great look for you ❤️
Thank you thank you!! 🥰
Love my SAS shoes!
@@sandyk6949 hi 👋
Thank you! It'd be so wonderful if someone would make a wide foot favorite shoe video.
Thanks for watching!
Are Danskos considered orthopedic?
Very thankful for her info on things that all of us older beauties appreciate .
Thanks for a practical advice. Comfort is key as we grow older.
Hi 👋
Pillow slippers/cloud slidder the best - the ones I have make an arch for me as well.
Yes!! I have the Hoka recovery flip flops as my indoor slippers, they are incredibly comfortable.
That pink scarf looks great on your skin tone!
I swear by FitFlops, I have had multiple knee surgeries and stand on my feet all day for work. I have been wearing them for 5 years and love them. I have multiple pairs in many colours and styles.
Thanks Angela. Really need comfort on my feet. 2” heels are as high as I go now💕
I stand all day for my job.
Try them!
I will take a look at those!! Thank you!! 😊
Thank you for succinct, easily understood and no extraneous chit-chat. Just the facts ma’am.
Thanks so much for this video. Your Doggie is beyond precious. ♥️
