Fasting as a Muslim is done 1. To please Allah as it's mentioned in the Quraan that Allah had prescribed fasting as He prescribed it to nations before so that we may attain "taqwa" or mindfulness of Allah... You have been fasting for the 12 hours during day, but you were eating the next 8-12 hours during night? So, how can you say Muslims fast? All they do is flip or reverse their eating time from day to night. We eat during the day, and they eat during the night and call it 'fasting'? But is that fasting? Then, all the others are fasting at night during Ramdan while they are FEASTING at night during Ramadan.

bro just an addition.. Hindu also do fasting for more than a month during the Month OF Shravan And 9 days during Dushreah and Some Hindu follow strict fasting during Chhatt where Hindu Womens Do not eat for more than 3 days... You Should add them too

As a Hindu i would say that in Hindu's relegion there are some Hindu's that fasting during the festival, occasion like my mother who's do fasting in maha Shivaratri,Durga Puja,karwa chauth and much more.i am not saying that muslims Christians doesn't do fasting i am just saying that Hindu's also does fasting
