It works 100%. I followed these instructions (fasting) for almost two years and I achieved the goal that I had never thought about it. I had pre diabetes two years ago and now I don’t even think about it. Lost 52 lbs, got the best blood pressure and sleep like baby. I just do fasting, no medicine no doctor and no appointments.

Once the body is fat adapted and used to fasting comfortably, you become liberated from the need to eat at specific times. So when traveling, or away from home and “good food” isn’t available or the event you’re attending is serving crap, you can comfortably skip eating. It is liberating. No longer a prisoner of the need to feed.

Sure it works, I lost 75 pounds in 13 months, and I am still losing. BMI from 33.5 to 22.9. Also went from XL and XXL shirts to medium and 38 waist to 32 waist. Couldn't be happier and now have enough energy to actually go to the gym and work on my remaining normal weight obesity. Mostly one meal a day, but if I ever have a day where my weight loss is minimal I push it to 48 hrs. I do have to stick to low carb, because if I don't the triggers to overeat are overwhelming. My internist is still not on board even with the obvious results, as well as normal lipids, super low A1C. Hold habits die hard. Since starting a 20/4 regiment two weeks ago, I found that I almost always feel full. I've always had poor digestion and slow metabolism, so it's not surprising that I feel full for hours after a meal, but I also feel oddly full in the morning. Using intermittent fasting here. After stopping carbs and sugars almost completely and finding sources of protein and fats to replace those things started to change but I also started intermittent fasting the 8 hour eating window version. At first had bad fatigue but that soon stopped. Tiredness continued and I was bothered about that but then it came to mind that tiredness and extra sleep was about my body rejuvinating itself. Sleep state is a state of healing so the growth hormone that is triggered by intermittent fasting goes to work. I listed up to 9 benefits my body has got from changing my diet and intermittent fasting. This is very recent and still going on because I only started doing it since the start of the year and at first did not know any of the information I needed to know. Started exercising for the first time Monday this week and the next day the same thing happened I got really tired and took a long sleep in the afternoon of the next day after getting extra sleep that morning. It is when I realised the extra sleep is a consequence of growth hormone triggering healing rejuvinating in my body. Really happy to say that there are many benefits from this not just a goot source of energy rather than the sugars produced from carbs. My blood presure went down from chronic to last weeks test of bp which showed I was not very close to a good healthy level. It was down from extreme 220/134 within 3 months to 152/100.

I wish you were my doctor. I just came from my doctor appointment today and I asked him to wait for the results before prescribing anything since I've been fasting. I'm on my 3rd week doing between 16 and 18 hrs. My 9ressure is down from 199/113 to 130/90. It's still high but considering I'm not taking my medication it's pretty. What's interesting is he said something that you said. He said I'm never going to get rid of diabetes. He said i will never get rid of it. I just kept thinking of your words. Then he said only the pills can help not diet. How horrible is that. They force the pills on you. So Sat I go to see the results from my A1C. I already told him I know it's going to be fine. I will update on the results. I just find it amazing how they pharmaceutical industry makes these doctors push these medications that are only going to make you worse. He also wanted to put me on insulin besides the pills and i refused the insulin. I know I can reverse diabetes with fasting and I will prove him wrong. Also I forgot to mention i went from 189 to 168. I've been getting back to fasting slowly but this will be the 3rd week that I started doing it correctly and this will be my new way of eating. The other thing everything is expensive so I save so much money on 2 meals a day. Once I can go further I will be doing 24hr fasting and one meal. I will probably save more. It also gives me time to concentrate on other things. Also my insomnia is not a problem anymore. I'm actually sleeping through the night and waking up in the morning like a normal person lol. I'm so grateful I found Dr Jason Fung
