Worth noting as well that you don't have to have the efficiency switch set up for climbing. I have one on my bike and asked them to custom tune that switch for a poppy trail/flow line tune, rather than a climb tune, which works amazing. The DH tune glues you to the ground like only a coil can, the trail tune positions the feel somewhere between a the feel of an air shock and a coil. Kind of the best of both worlds for trail riding, still supple but lively at the same time. By far the best component on my full on dream bike Sentinel build!
How cool is that a shop does the reviews of the products it's selling to its customers and doesn't just regurgitate the marketing material from the manufacturer, keep up the good work. If i was living in the US I would be very confident to buy from your shop, it's very unfortunate that the shipping cost from the US to my part of the world is very high but I still love the content and watch every video because of the top notch quality and in depth information

A three way comparison between the 11-6, Fox DHX2 and RS SDC Ultimate would be awesome. Because the Fox and Rockshox so often come specced on high end bikes, and it would be nice to see if they're good enough to not need upgrading to the 11-6 or if it's worth the extra cash. The Evil Offering, for example, comes with the SDC Ultimate RTC, but Evil also offers the DHX2 for $75 or 11-6 for $900. The price difference between the Fox and Rockshox is neither here nor there, but even when you're already spending $6K, $900 is a pretty big price bump.
From what I understand, its not just a open or climb switch. Thats the default option. Again, from what I understand, even that is customizable so you don't have to think about it as a climb switch, you can look at it as two completely independent tuning circuits. So if you want a downhill mash the gnar mode, and a more flat pedaly trail mode, you can do that.
Just put one on my SB5.5 today... I'm a taller/heavier rider (bike is an XL) and just after one ride this is night/day better than the OE Fox shock. Put a dent in my N+1 bike budget but totally worth it.
As someone thats both into racetrack driving and mountain biking, these are basically high end coilovers. Like JRZ, MOTON, MCS, etc. and I would totally consider this on my Banshee Spitfire if i were to get rid of my air shock.
I have been riding my Push Eleven Six on my 3 last bike, best thing I ever bought! At 5’4”, 120lbs, I could never find the perfect setup with the air shocks and with this one, Boom! Bang on
What size bike do you ride? I'm contemplating buying a Yeti SB 140, 150, or 165. I'm 5'5" (165 lbs) with shorter legs. What size should I buy, small or medium. Most bike shop experts say medium.
I put one on my S-Works Enduro and it totally transformed the bike from the stock Ohlins. It's so plush and the rear traction is insane. The back wheel is always planted.
Just ordered an evil offering with this shock. Cannot wait. Push responded to my questions about setup within minutes of me messaging them too and are very very helpful
Great information I was looking for. Thank you. BTW...I love that you have Salt and Pepper on your PC screen. Back then Cheryl James was my 5 Star 5 Diamond. All these years later, I'm just happy I remember to put pants on before I go to work. Now Zip it Up and Zip it Out. Stay awesome!
dudebros. Built my offering from fanatik with a push. Cant speak to its performance on other bikes. But I have ridden air and coil on varying terrain, bikes and travel ranges. I called push just to tell them over the phone how happy I was. Talked to “Mike” for like 20 minutes at 9am, ended up with some tuning tips, trail talk and general suspension information about my bike in particular. Personally, after a few rides out of the box, I softened the climb circuit and firmed up the DH circuit. Just a couple clicks for both circuits on HSC and LSC. That made the bike a solid pedaling trail bike for undulating terrain in climb mode and a absolute UNIT when the trail is pointed strictly down. I tend to be aggressive and push the bike to its limits 😬 I’ve never ridden a better handling bike. JUICED.
Good to hear. I'm doing the same setup. What fork did you do and is it air or coil? I would think the next step in doing the Push rear is to do something to the front...?
Jeff, Great review on the Eleven-Six. After Downieville, I've been pretty dissatisfied with my Fox X-2 Factory and was looking for something better. I have rather heavy Turbo Levo Expert Carbon with a bunch of upgrades and it's been hopping lately on the chunkies on the downhill. Downieville show'd specific weakness of the X-2. So I'm definitely getting the Eleven-Six. My Carlsbad shop is particularly on top of adjustments. They work directly with Push. I have a feeling this is going to solve all my rear suspension problems. FYI, I think $1200 is without the coil. You're out the door for $1600 is what I heard. I'm also going to couple that install with the Vorsprung coil kit for my Fox 38's. I think the combo is going to rock.
Mauro Menegolli I have an EXT Arma here in Canada. Have ridden a lot of dampers before and EXT makes a very very high quality shock, unparalleled from what I have tested. The HBC circuit is amazing. Not surprising , coming from a company that has made shocks for World Rally cars since the 1980’s.
I dont know the us prices but in my country a DHX2 Factory with SLS Spring is around 10% cheaper. My DH bike has a DHX2 an i like it very much. On my Megatower is an air shock installed but if i switch to coil, i will buy the 11.6. Did you ever had any problems with Push shocks? I blew every of mine Fox shocks after 1 year of riding (air and coil). The repairs were covered in warranty, so big problem. The only problem it took them 2-5 weeks to fix my shocks.
I'll take the trade off weight vs performance I'll take performance I'm sure the weight is nominal at most Said it before say it again I prefer coil over air suspension better performance To much emphasis on weight anyways especially when it's nominal at best God bless Thanks once again for some great insight and information/recommendation Peace out keep shred'n
Just get an inexpensive coil (X Fusion Vector HLR or maybe the new Fox) and get it custom tuned If you want- will be the same or even better than the Push. And yes Ive got an 11-6...it doesnt do magic
Any chance on getting a good comparative review of the new (gen 2) ElevenSix? They've added a fair amount of features/changes, so it'd be really cool to know how it all translates to riding performance and notable differences found by a rider.
Wish they made one for my 2018 YT Tues! I am running the Fox X2 that comes stock and feel that it is really harsh! I am a bigger guy at 210 lbs and have mostly delt with coil in the past. I ride Windrock Bike Park in TN and really put it through the test on the steep gnar.
Hi, if buying this second-hand, as you said they are custom tuned for the rider, if used with the right spring, can it be re-set up for the new owner? Thank you!
Rode one for the first time on a YT Decoy on the rainy Vancouver North Shore today. Loved it. Big upgrade for an ebike. Better climbing, much less of that sinking feeling on drops, more stable over gnar.
I have an Evil wreckoning and on the fence. I don’t want to loose the playfulness of my monarch. rode some bike with the fox coil and love the small bump smoothness but didn’t feel as playful as air. Is this one crossing that gap a bit? About to buy but a lot to spend if I’m not sure
If it fitted my 2015 commencal am v4 and I had the cash I would deffo be planting one on my bike 🤙. Might be better to get a boutique enduro bike with one already on it... how to get that past my wife 🤔
Didn't know this shock can be swapped. So if I had this on the offering and then wanted to put it on a insurgent, push can handle the conversion for that?
They can handle the conversion but there will be a cost for parts that need to be replaced in order to make the conversion. I would recommend reaching out to PUSH to see what exactly that would cost!
I wish they made these for downhill bikes 😭 I want one not for a climb switch but to have that witch for switching from downhill supple feeling to a jump flow trail on my bike since I like to both ride really rocky tech trails but also flowy jump trails as well

the only other shock in this price category is really the EXT storia V3 and you have to go all the way to italy to get it/have it serviced.
