Manual valve body and done! ✅
I got the nozzle swapped 24v stage 3 injectors in my truck over the weekend and Holy moly I'm glad I did it! Thanks so much
Hey you guys I had a similar problem with my 03, turns out there was a wire in the loom on the firewall that had chaffed through and was intermittently grounding on a pinch weld, good luck and thanks for the great content !!!!
I’ve come across those exact issues before with the early 47re trucks. Wound up being ground wire issues picking up radio interference from the field lead on the alternator usually. Couple of times it wound up being a faulty circuit in the PCM.
Love it!!!!! Keep it up! About to install my $400 injectors, got them back already!!
Hey I have been binge watching your UA-cam videos lately and Im extremely appreciative of all the knowledge you guys share. I’m looking to make a little bit of extra power in my 96 Cummins with a 180 pump, I’m shooting for the 300 rwhp number and I want it to be as clean as possible. I’m thinking 3k gov springs, stage 1 injectors and your fuel plate boost elbow and afc spring combo, if you have a chance to let me know what you think that would be awesome
Internal computer ground in the circuit board seen that before. Ground in ecm
What if you pull your tps off and set it to like 50%? A full manual valve body will cure those annoying hunting habits. 🙂 I can't wait to get my new nozzles from you all on the test stand with my base calibration pump to see how they flow. 🙂
I converted my '96 re to an rh because couldn't get it to shift correctly. 2-3 yrs of replacing tps and solenoids, and other random internet fixes didn't fix it. I put lockup and OD on buttons.
It always does what I want now. 🤷🏼♂️
Ive had this exact problem on my truck. Ended up being a bad transmission output speed sensor. it would sometimes lose signal and the PCM would have no idea how fast the truck was moving so erratically change gears and throw lockup/unlock. output speed sensor is what PCM uses for shift timing. If it does not see this signal in first 15seconds of moving it will switch to using the speedometer as backup sensor. but if your OSS is cutting in and out it might not see it at first and not switch to the speedometer.
Check the battery’s for a/c voltage with truck running
Had some issues with a 95 truck the other day on the TPS went right to ground on the battery fixed it. Is the scan reading RPM erratic is that what I heard make sure to check air gap on the Crank pulley and I’ve run into that. On head gaskets valve lash seems to work best to make sure the head gasket isn’t settling still. If they get tight retorque.
I have had worn alternator brushes cause bouncing tach on 97 .
What happened to part 3 of the 6.2 build???????
Is this the classic throttle position sensor going bad scenario?
What’s your feelings on pulling the plate and running AFC live?
Have a question for you guys build a ppump 24v
With a 215 pump,7mm DV,4K GS, 7x10 sac PDD injectors 093 lines,
71/84/.83/t4 turbo,ported head,with a custom made runner intake,3.5 piping,stock
Inter cooler.stock bottom end with a 188/220 cam and other
Supporting mods .
It’s makings 45lbs of
boost and 40lbs of drive pressure very little
lag and smoke.
I wanted to adjust the waste gate spring to get the boost down to 35 lbs and it still hits 45
The spring on the waste gate is totally loose and it still spools very fast to 40 and minimal smoke?
U need to adjust the pump, I would recommend u get AFC Live from Power Driven diesel, and then you can make all the changes you want for boost and fuel.
Stand alone computer with 4L80E billet tranny and I love mine 749hp 98 12v storm block p7100 built to the hill love my Duelly
Definitely a pcm ground problem, and you need to wire in a lockup switch with a relay
Did you use Arp 625s in blue Baller?
Yes sir. We pulled to 165. Buttttt we basically forgot to pull them after a few warm ups. She is back together and holding fluids after 5 re-torque
if i could afford the grandpa truck right now i would absolutely take it lol
Bad crank sensor
Rh swap it
Allison swap
Yep.
