Can't believe this video doesn't have a bazillion comments! Been doing this every other day (17 weeks pregnant) after a mild and recovered prolapse, and it has helped *immensely*. I no longer pee when I sneeze 😂 (among many other benefits!) thank you for this video!
Hi mama! What grade was your prolapse? I have a grade 2 after having 2 babies. Been trying to recover it and I'm a lot stronger now, but I just found out I'm expecting again and am nervous. Seeing comments like yours gives me hope.
Loved it! Thank you so much!! I’m in my Second trimester and have been busy with moving and working and haven’t paid attention to my pelvic floor and paying for it rn lol your video gave me instant relief ❤️ god bless
Ahhhh tried this yesterday my pelvic pain got more painful :( in the beginning of the video it states not to do the last exercise if we’ve pelvic pain but didn’t mention before the start of the last exercise 🥺 but I believe other exercises do help! I’ll just have to remember the last exercise is the one leg stand the next time I do this!
Aww sorry to hear this! Yes the last exercise should be skipped if you have pelvic pain. The other exercises should really help you though! ❤ good job doing this and all the best for your pregnancy
5 months pregnant and have been diagnosed with a mild uterine prolapse this morning. Will be taking care of my pelvic floor daily from today and started with your video. Thank you!
I really loved this workout!! I have been avoiding doing any pelvic exercises as I didn’t find much I enjoyed, but I really enjoyed this one. Thank you
I'm 8 months postpartum now but i've been doing this workout a few times each week during my pregnancy. I've never had any pain or problems with my pelvic floor during my pregnancy or after giving birth. Is it still a great workout when your postpartum or do you recommend another workout especially for postpartum mom's?
This was the first pelvic floor exercise I’ve ever done and I’m 13 weeks pregnant. Right when I was done and walked away my nose started bleeding. Any idea why?
Could be due to increased blood flow and bursted a small vessel close to the surface in your nose. Were you exhaling heavily or squeezing hard and do you work out regularly? If you live a more sedimentary lifestyle, that could be a factor. Most likely due to increased blood flow with pregnancy.
Yes this is totally normal! And no please don't switch. It is important to engage when exhaling! When you inhale all the oxygen is already putting pressure on your pelvic floor and you don't want to engage it under extra pressure. Keeping doing it like I explain in the video and at one point your mind will make the switch :).
That's a great question! You can actually lie on your back until the very end of pregnancy if it is comfortable for you and you don't feel dizzy. If you feel dizzy come out of the position. For prolonged periods you should not stay on your back but this is not the case with this video.
yes you can also do it after 33 weeks but make sure you also do some exercises to relax your pelvic floor to prepare for birth if you plan on having a vaginal birth

Welcome!
Hello Sally. Is it ok to do this every day? 19 weeks pregnant und mother of a two year daughter. I still pee when I sneeze after the first birth.
Yes you can totally do it everyday if you find the time
@@FitWithSally thank you very much for your answer :)
Can we do this wrk out 4x or more a week ?
Are squats safe in first trimester?
Yes! They are safe during any trimester
The breathing and the squeezing / relaxing is the opposite of what comes naturally to me. Is this normal? Can I switch direction? 😅
Can this be done daily?
Yes absolutely!
I have also noticed a reduction in peeing when I sneeze! lol and less pelvic pain
Glad to hear it!
Its not recommended to lie on your back after 16 weeks pregnant as i understand. For prolonged periods at least?
That's a great question! You can actually lie on your back until the very end of pregnancy if it is comfortable for you and you don't feel dizzy. If you feel dizzy come out of the position. For prolonged periods you should not stay on your back but this is not the case with this video.
I am 10 weeks pregnant can i do this
I recommend doing this workout 2-3 times per week starting about 18 weeks pregnant until you are about 32 weeks pregnant
Is it safe to do this workout after 33weeks?
yes you can also do it after 33 weeks but make sure you also do some exercises to relax your pelvic floor to prepare for birth if you plan on having a vaginal birth
@@FitWithSallydo you have a video for relaxing the muscles?
Yes I do. Search for pelvic floor birth prep fit with Sally and you will find it :)
Congratulations 😢
thank you!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
