I’ve had the CO-Z 3000 now for over 2 years. I ran into the same problem of the motor not operating properly, not many places with information like here, I came here to see how to maybe fix it. Scott pointed a few problems with his and I had basically the same problem. So I took the unit of the base and set it on a work bench, made a few adjustments with the sensors (spare set) looked around got it working again, loose wires are definitely the place to check, all connections. Thanks, Scott for posting this thread.
That is amazing the gate opener has done so well. Great Job on the gate. You are a lucky man. Normally, when you push Record, the gate would not work, lol.
Mine just broke. It lasted about ten years. I am buying another one. 1800 lbs this time. I would suggest putting little wedges on the ends to scrape the rail if you get snow. It will build up on the track and knock it off the track. Put grease zerks in the wheels and bearing so when it squeaks you can grease them and be up and running again.
Hello sir, enjoy the all the videos on your channel. About two years ago I was looking for reviews on different gate openers and you sold me on to install one of these. So far it has worked like a charm until this week it started doing the exact same thing yours was doing. Could you expand a little on what sensor cable did you troubleshoot? Was it one of the two safety stop photocell sensors or the magnet detection sensor? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Living on a tight budget force me to be like you, I do everything I can myself. Thanks in advance. God bless.
Thank you for sharing your build and review. We are wanting to build our own gate and install an opener. How wide and deep did you make your concrete pad?

Glad it helped. We’ve enjoyed ours.
Great job on the gate and the review, the gate in our subdivision sucks. Take care and have a blessed week Scott.
Thanks Tony. I think all these gates are subject to issues at various times.
Thank you for being consistent on your reviews. Hope they start to monetize you fpr it!!!!! ❤
I hope so too! Thanks.
Reminds me of the openers I worked on at Apartments 👍great job...
Thanks. I’m glad it’s still working.

Our gate is about 8 feet tall woods privacy fence about 20 feet long.
Thanks for feedback. That was a good run.
Hi Scott, I like your gate. Where did you get it at
Hello, I made the gate.
You did a good job making the gate
Thanks. I’m cheap, I try to do everything I can to save a buck.
It worth the price. I installed one on feb 2019 and still working
Glad to hear that. Appreciate you watching.
Seems like it was just yesterday when you put that in! Glad it has worked like a Gem!
Time is flying by.

For me it was the safety sensor. Not the magnets. I’d check every wire to make sure nothing is loose.
Sounds good. I will check them all today.
Thank you for replying.
Very nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
Very Nice Fence Sir that you have 👍👍😇😇👌👌💪💪Cheers 🍻🍻
Thanks!

Thank you. I think we made it 12” wide and 4” deep. Same as sidewalk, etc. this gate is really light.
Hmmm. I wonder if u could use one of these motors as a garage door opener?
Never thought of that. Not sure.
thank you
You're welcome
Does this work in snowy areas?
@@alejandrodebasilio1606 don’t know. Sorry
