These videos never get old. Style, length, humor, everything about it. Props to you. Keep up the good work. Your definitely gonna be a great next generation for your family farm. Much love from Quebec :)
Such a hardworking young business owner wish more people had his work ethic nothing but respect for him and people like him the country would be a better place if everyone had this attitude
The scrapers are doing a really nice job, makes your work a lot easier and less of a potential for accidents. The mold can be a real problem, I'm glad to see you've gotten under control. Thanks for sharing, take care and I hope all of your family have a great weekend.
Eric: I'm just loving these clean floors, look at that! Cow: Floor's too clean. Time to deposit. 0:52 When you look inward next time, I hope you'll find more milk and water bottles than the sugar drinks.
Didn't see this mentioned, but that "grease block" with a group of zerks is GREAT! No more crawling around to get to all of them, or even a few of them. Been almost 50 years since I was on the farm and things have sure changed.....for the good!
Eric grab the filter with a 1 gal Ziploc bag. Once it's loose finish spinning the filter off in the plastic bag. You won't spill and if you do, just toss the bag...I did not see any chocolate milk containers in the trash either...chocolate milk is a great energy drink. Learned that from you.
As for looking inward brother , don't change a thing, ! Your doing a great job and so many people admire you and your life and you are a good roll model for many young people, hey I'm one of them ! I'm I'm my 60s,, More time with the family always is a good thing to remember ! May Peace and well being be your path !
I was a Vet Med student (CSU) for a while, but moved to electrical engineering after it was obvious it wasn’t for me. Shoot, you are doing so many tasks that a DVM would do that you might as well have the degree! Props to you and your pop Eric.
You know what Eric, I was just thinking about it and I would have to say that you are hands down living the dream. You may not make millions, but I'd say that you are far wealthier than people that do (I realize this is a cliche to say, so I apologize. It just truthfully fits the situation so I used it) I obviously mean that in the sense that you've got such a loving family and you are able to be so close to them while working, your "job" which is something you love and enjoy so much, as well as you are able to work with your dad every day, and spend so much time with him. However, I'm sure that you both have moments where you don't want to be in the same room with each other, LOL. Anyway, the bottom line is that you are able to do something that so many of us, myself included, would absolutely love to be in some kind of similar circumstances. You're doing a darn good job sir, as well as your dad and your whole entire family. Thank you so much for sharing so much about your work day with us, as well as educating those outside of the agricultural community about how things actually work, in your case, on a family owned dairy farm. It's a beautiful thing! 🙏
Was great to hear that you got to spend a bit extra time with your family Eric which is difficult for farmers. Make the most of these moments as I lost my wife at a young age and always regretted not spending enough time with my wife & son! Great video as always thanks.
Your going to love that door opener, we have them on all of our machine shed doors. On the shop door we run an extension cord down to a wall outlet that we unplug when there is something underneath the door so it doesn’t accidentally get engaged. Keep the videos coming!
When changing oil on any engine, I hook a shop vac to the oil fill port, turn vacuum on, drop the oil plug from the pan, scoot catch pan(bucket) under drain then shut off the vacuum. No oil slopped hands. As for the filters, a nice sharp punch to the bottom and drain out to catch pan. Filter punch may be messy on tractors, works great on 7.3 powerstroke.
Thank you Eric for the great video's. Always look forward to watching your videos. Glad the robots are working out for you!!! With all your hard work makes happy to see the robots working good for you. You and your family do such a great job with your animals and farm. Glad to see you could go in and enjoy some family time!! God bless all our nation's farmers and dairy farmers!!!! Great job and keep up the great work. Thank you Bud and Deb from western Pennsylvania ❤️
Eric, loved the update on the new robots. Looking forward to the day you have all you need to keep all the "allies" clean. It makes the area much neater and I really believe the cows appreciate it! I have gone back and watched all of your videos and you, the videos and the farm have all come a long way! Thank you!
This was a great vid! Even tho I had an idea of what the teat dip was for I didn’t know for sure. My only question, what is ‘emollient’? I think you can honestly add the label of ‘cow phlebotomist’ to your humongo list of skills!!
That's hilarious! "It's always a good time to look inward and consider my diet and choices I'm making" as you stare into the garbage can. I'm still laughing!
Was working with a mad man of a contractor one year doing grass silage. Came back to his yard one evening after finishing for the day and he was underneath a 7810 John deere with a hammer and chisel trying to open the stump stud. Half of the head was missing... couldn't open it with a wrench so he went straight for the chisel and hammer. Ended up having to weld a bar on to the stud to open it.
I can't say enough good about your videos. You have more knowledge that some people with several degrees. You just go about your work steadily and confidently...then you record it all for us to enjoy. Thanks for sharing about family. About time for another Q & A..maybe when you reach 300K subscribers! God's peace be with you all.
A little dry humour “ look inward at dietary choices” I think if you have a sedentary lifestyle and don’t move much the sugar in the soft drinks add up, but Eric is the Total exact opposite. He is always on the move. Some of the dairy protein drinks are not bad. Fairlife I think has good ones
And with that another day done. Have similar tractors with interchangeable parts means you only have to remember one set of numbers and get 2 of everything you need....efficiency. There's nothing like a little family time on a wet day or just plain old catching up on a few zzzzzz looking at the inside of the eyelids
Eric, your video are awesome. Great job on filming and editing them. Thank you for all of your hard work. Very glad the robots are working good. Floors looks great. thank you. by the way , how is your family
Thank you Eric, for another great video. I sure do appreciate the time and effort you put in to bring your activities to us. It's almost like being there beside you as you work. You are certainly a great role model for young farmers everywhere.
Hi Eric I'm a farm boy and enjoy reliving my experience through your videos. Seriously I'd check into getting diesel fueled standby generator for the farm. In the event of a power outage, the generator would start up and get you back in business with in a minute. Just a suggestion.👍
On our farm we spray all of our used oil in a fine mist on our dirt roads and driveways, we never have dust, makes a great base....Six miles of dirt roads.
A little trick to stop getting the oil from the filter all over the place is the punch a small hole in the side of It with a nail and collect that with a small cup then take the filter off.
They make alot for sure. I think he said in his new barn the pit holds 1 million gallons and he cleans it out 2 times a year. That is only a small portion of the manure on the farm. Free fertilizer. :)
Electric door will be a Life saver in the winter and spring especially when its snowing or raining.. Now you need a robotic rototiller for the new building to go from pen to pen and go under the gates. So you don't have to move cows when you use the tractor to rototill
What does silage smell like? I love watching your videos. I’m not a farmer, but I watch your videos so much that UA-cam gives me ads for farm equipment. 😂 keep up the great videos!
Cool channel Brother. Thanks for sharing what your blessed with with all of us. I need about 100#’s of fresh beef overnighted up here to my place if you guys ship fresh beef.
I saw a random video in my feed of a dairy that had a robotic "dipper". Really just a sprayer that the cows walked over. Had a laser that made sure that it was "dipping" in the right place. Once the cows got to the milking station they just wiped them off and milked. They had over 5,000 cows so maybe they aren't as concerned about every cow being as healthy as possible?
The cow was like "Oh clean floors you say? Allow me to sing the song of my people." 🤣
I love how Eric talks about the clean floors and then the Cow gives us all a little "back drop".
I was thinking the same thing.
at least that one is potty trained
Perfect timing. :)
Best thing to watch at the VA HOSPITAL! THANKS ERIC!!
Sending you healing prayers.
Thanks I really appreciate that
Thank you for your service and hope you are better soon. From a Navy Vet.
Oh wow God bless you,,get well soon..you are loved...
It’s so nice to see such a clean dairy and professional operation, no yelling or hitting the cows.😉
5:50 When cleaning out a tractor becomes a character building journey.
These videos never get old. Style, length, humor, everything about it. Props to you. Keep up the good work. Your definitely gonna be a great next generation for your family farm. Much love from Quebec :)
the temperament of your holsteins reflect the personality of the herdsmen. nice job!
So true and he had a beautiful and we'll behaved herd. Big kudos
Looks like all the food groups was there!!! Coke, DrPepper, Mountain Dew, pastries! Life’s essential’s
Such a hardworking young business owner wish more people had his work ethic nothing but respect for him and people like him the country would be a better place if everyone had this attitude
Another nice and calm vid, Eric. I can see how your father knows he can trust you to get things done. Thanks for sharing!!!
I cannot find all the words needed to describe it, but I am a HUGE fan of 10th G. Eric, you are the 💣.
By far the best farming youtuber
Lol, clean out was rather humorous. I like your choices, especially the chocolate milk.
The scrapers are doing a really nice job, makes your work a lot easier and less of a potential for accidents. The mold can be a real problem, I'm glad to see you've gotten under control. Thanks for sharing, take care and I hope all of your family have a great weekend.
Great video! Smart investment in the used robotic cleaners. Glad to see the constant improvements your making to manage your herd. Well done Eric!
Best dairy farm around!! Great people that take animal health and comfort very seriously!!! Thanks for the videos!!
Those floor scrapers are doing an awesome job…nice clean floor. Really looking like spring on the farm, can’t wait for planting!
"I'm just loving these clean floors, look at that"
/Cut to cow fixing that for you/
This is my dream farm, just keep updating in this style, love you
Eric: I'm just loving these clean floors, look at that!
Cow: Floor's too clean. Time to deposit. 0:52

Nice to hear you had some extra time with the family.
That auto scraper really does a great job! 🏍🇺🇸🎒
Cows look very happy today.
Amazing the difference those robots make. Going to have to add 1 more!!
Eric I received my hat that I ordered from your merch page. It's awesome!!
2:05 thats a pretty risky camera spot!
I also really like slatted Flores when they are clean.

I could use one of those foaming teat cleaners in my bathroom 🤔
I am SO jealous of your water troughs!!! They are so easy to clean and don’t waste as much water as ours!!!
Refreshing to look and see a video from Eric. Thanks till the next one.
Nice video Eric. Glad you got some family time
I was a Vet Med student (CSU) for a while, but moved to electrical engineering after it was obvious it wasn’t for me. Shoot, you are doing so many tasks that a DVM would do that you might as well have the degree! Props to you and your pop Eric.
Love your content Eric, would love another Q&A with your dad and plans for the summer
This is your 300th video!!! Congrats

Looks like the girls have given the robots a good break in they definitely are not clean anymore. Love the clean floors too. Susan
Quintessential Dairyman video right here,
Thanks for sharing!
I want u to know how great ur floors r looking. Super in fact.
I'm just loving these clean floors.
Bessie: Here hold my beer!
Was great to hear that you got to spend a bit extra time with your family Eric which is difficult for farmers. Make the most of these moments as I lost my wife at a young age and always regretted not spending enough time with my wife & son! Great video as always thanks.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always 🐄 Man!!!
Looking forward to the hoof health evaluation once the floor cleaning robots have been operating a while.
Your going to love that door opener, we have them on all of our machine shed doors. On the shop door we run an extension cord down to a wall outlet that we unplug when there is something underneath the door so it doesn’t accidentally get engaged. Keep the videos coming!
Great advice

I don’t think those 7000 series have a clear shot to a pan. You would probably get oil all over.
Thank you Eric for the great video's. Always look forward to watching your videos. Glad the robots are working out for you!!! Great awesome video Eric , won’t be long you will have robot milking
Hey eric if you put a bag around the filter before you take it off you won't get oil everywhere😁
Eric, loved the update on the new robots. Looking forward to the day you have all you need to keep all the "allies" clean. It makes the area much neater and I really believe the cows appreciate it! i think Eric is ready for spring!
Agree
Love seeing the GEA product in your parlor!
Interesting stuff Eric u folks take good care of your farm and animals really like that
A little dry humour “ look inward at dietary choices” I think if you have a sedentary lifestyle and don’t move much the sugar in the soft drinks add up, but Eric is the Total exact opposite. He is always on the move. Some of the dairy protein drinks are not bad. Fairlife I think has good ones
Something you might do is write the hrs and date on the filter. That way you know when the last one was
Floors are great. Best on u tube
And with that another day done. Have similar tractors with interchangeable parts means you only have to remember one set of numbers and get 2 of everything you need....efficiency.

So much for the clean floor
You sounded like a giddy 5-year-old talking about those floor cleaners. Well worth the price, new or used.
Robotic feed pushers and robotic manure scrapers - Next stop: robotic milking stations - just a matter of time.
They actually already exist and have for the last 10 years or so, and a robotic rotary parlor
They do have those. We got 8 lely astronauts at work to milk 500 cows 24/7.

Thank you Eric, for another great video. I sure do appreciate the time and effort you put in to bring your activities to us. It's almost like being there beside you as you work. You are certainly a great role model for young farmers everywhere.
Love this channel!
Hi Eric
I'm a farm boy and enjoy reliving my experience through your videos.

0:50 Code Brown on aisle 3!
Would you expect any changes in somatic cell count since the introduction of floor cleaners...??
should look into an eletric grease gun from dewalt. love mine
Another good one Eric.
Nice that Mr Deere allows you to change the oil and filters yourself.
A little trick to stop getting the oil from the filter all over the place is the punch a small hole in the side of It with a nail and collect that with a small cup then take the filter off.
those robots do an awesome job
Robots doing a great job but they sure could use a shower station. Never realized how much manure that many cows could make.
They make alot for sure. I think he said in his new barn the pit holds 1 million gallons and he cleans it out 2 times a year. That is only a small portion of the manure on the farm. Free fertilizer. :)
If you clean it when you get out. It's clean when you get in.
This looks so fun to do!
Quite obvious you care for the health of your livestock! Keep shooting out videos still down from the appendectomy!!
Cows don’t have attorneys to represent them for their justification.
Every morning first thing I check is if there's manure enough
The robots do a great job. Definitely worth it in man hours saved. 👍
Hello Eric the interesting part in your videos is tractor 🚜 and heavy Meachines love you from India 🇮🇳
Nothing wrong with having a slow day on the farm take them while you can
Electric door will be a Life saver in the winter and spring especially when its snowing or raining..
Fresh cut grass with a can of corn mixed in is pretty close. I ve been around it enough,,,,
Cool channel Brother. Thanks for sharing what your blessed with with all of us. I need about 100#’s of fresh beef overnighted up here to my place if you guys ship fresh beef.
Another great video sir
The cow at 00:52 looks like me when I wake up.
Have you noticed a cleaner parlor now that the slats are a lot cleaner?
Hello:) lov ur vids!! Keep up the good work:)
Do you have an equipment planner of when and what you’ve done to them?
I saw a random video in my feed of a dairy that had a robotic "dipper". Really just a sprayer that the cows walked over. Had a laser that made sure that it was "dipping" in the right place. Once the cows got to the milking station they just wiped them off and milked. They had over 5,000 cows so maybe they aren't as concerned about every cow being as healthy as possible?
Well done, thanks for sharin'....
U got a haircut looks good eric
