Great video. I just bought the Rogue Draw Driver, and you pretty much nailed everything I've experienced. I swing hard and across causing a lot of fades and slices. After buying the the draw driver . . . I still hit fades and slices. However, I've since worked on correcting my swing, and I think the driver is making it easier for me to hit the ball straight or even a draw sometimes.
such a reassuring comment to read as I have the same issue and I have just bought the Rogue Draw as well. I thought I'd made the wrong decision after watching the reviews saying that the standard driver is draw biased!
@@TheDonMagicWon I'm in the same boat! Just got mine used not too long ago and I was a bit worried but once I realized you can essentially remove the draw bias through the hosel settings I was glad I bought it. Or maybe I'm just misunderstanding how the hosel settings work haha
I have an xr 16 and a new rogue draw type with 50g kuro kage and 60g riptide to match up during the winter
Draw head is specially designed to help reducing fade and slice for the fade swing. Please also made some out to in (fade) swing to see how well the draw head is working.
Hi Mike! Great video! Do yo need to hit the draw-biased driver differently from a standard driver? meaning, do yo need to not close the clubface more (leave it a little open) since the clubface is already closed? thanks!
Thanks for the video Michael. I have the standard 9 degree Rogue SZ with hosel set to neutral face and standard loft. My miss is a fade/push fade right. I hit a draw with every other club in my bag except this driver. This was my pros driver so while he wore out the center of the face I feel like I’m working on wearing out the rest of the face 🥴. My swing plane is inside-out so I feel like my issue may be face angle control. Do you think changing the hosel setting to D / S might help with this?

I always struggle to square up the face with the long clubs, although I do have a slight in to out swing and do consistently hit the driver up by about 2 degrees. I tried setting my Epic into draw setting (sliding weight) but I found I just hit more shots from the heel which then went low and still sliced. Is this common?
Yes!! Worth getting a lesson as could be grip, ball position, etc etc. Sounds like your doing good things with path and attack.
Very interesting video. But a question: why is your smash factor low, it should be more like 1.49-1.50 right?
Hi Mike, what's the difference between a draw driver and an offset driver ? I'm in the market for a new driver , but due lack of flexibility and fitness ( due to cancer treatment but all good now , just no strength or stamina ) although hopefully this will return , my swing is very much all arms , so not sure which would suit me better , I also have a tendency to get ahead of the ball which leaves my arms trailing ? Any info much appreciated. Cheers
Thx for the comparison, Mike! Am I right in thinking that moving weight from the back to the heel area would lower the MOI? Could that explain your larger lateral dispersion with the draw head?
Possibly but I would say the major factor being the closed face

I tried a draw option as occasionally slice but also hook on occasion and found standard shots over free. I think there clubs are great till you have a lesson or two.
The weight isnt doing anything it's purely the toed in face.
