    Wish this was in Canada. Looking for a cheap mobility device. Not many options

      Thanks for the comment. Does Onebot, or Amazon US not ship to Canada?

    • @Srcsqwrn
      @Srcsqwrn 10 місяців тому +1

      @ColinLeung Onebot doesn't, and the shipping/customs cost for the bike just wouldn't be worth it to me, even from US Amazon.
      There's almost nowhere that sells ebikes under $1k Canadian, other than Amazon or Walmart, but again the shipping brings it out of my price range. :c
      I haven't had a job in a couple months, and I've been searching. I'm hoping to find a decent cheap ebike that can help me with my search range and then commute (I can't afford a bus pass each month).

      @@Srcsqwrn Thanks for clarifying. I was not aware of the ebike pricing in Canada. Have you tried Craigslist, or Facebook Marketplace? Others may be selling them used locally. Good luck with the search!

    Do you think it’s possible to remove the bottom bracket on this bike? I want to convert it to a mid drive with a rear rack for the battery and controller. I’ve tried removing the bottom bracket but it appears that it may have been lightly bonded in place. I think it will be an interesting DIY project. Thank you.

      Hello, I gave this bike to a family member, so I'm not able to check. I'm sure with enough patience with disassembly, and possibly drilling, you'd be able to remove it.

    What do you think about tye shift s2 gotrax should i buy it?

    • @ColinLeung
      @ColinLeung  Рік тому +1

      Hello, I've never tried the Gotrax Shift S2, but all of these 250W ebikes perform about the same. If it meets your budget, speed and range needs then go for it!

    Hi Colin, I am seeking my first ebike....With discounts on most of these Onbot Bikes currently, would you suggest this S2 or the s7 for inner city commute/grocery runner/pleasure? or does this just depend on the size we are seeking as they appear to have similar stats with weight / speed... Thanks!

    • @ColinLeung
      @ColinLeung  Рік тому +1

      Sorry, I didn't get notified that you left a message, and just saw your question now. They're both similar in performance. The main difference is that the S7 has bigger wheels (16" vs 14") meaning it's more comfortable biking longer distances, and it has a rear shock. It was also taller, and doesn't seem as portable if you need to carry it.

    How do you change the bike from KM to MPH?

      It's under the programming settings. I go over it starting here: ua-cam.com/video/mkOro13kzfQ/v-deo.html
