The Weedy Garden why do you feel the need to change your emojis to match your skin colour? Is it that important to ya?? 🙈 you might want to reflect what that says about your psychological/mental health. Cultural conditioning is a horrible thing.
This made me cry. All I ask of my fellow human beings is to be kind-hearted. Your willingness to share your gifts, listen and care is a testiment to our true nature. Be well my friend.
You deserve my respect for the reupload. It really cements your pure intentions. Loved hearing from your friend. Much more effective. I could sense you had the right intentions in the first time, so it didn't matter much to me personally, but it might have affected a specific audience, and being sensitive to people's historic wounds, being humble enough to not let personal pride take over, shows your true character and wisdom when speaking to a public at large. I think this episode will age much better :-) Count on me if you need anything.
GreatAlaska Apologizing is a sign of emotional maturity. I rather be around those who do. Not apologizing when it comes to a moral principle is a sign of strength, but refusing to do so to appear tough is nothing more than inflated ego.
GreatAlaska “those who care don’t matter”? And yet, look at all the love that’s flowing through this channel, to and from its creator. One could learn a lot by paying attention to what’s happening here. Those who care have a soul, and they matter.
I’m based in London and I have a small Urban Garden with my fiancé! I work full time 45 hours per week and I spend roughly 40-50 hours every week between gardening, recording and editing with no days off. This made me feel like my work it’s nothing!! The editing and filming behind this it’s incredible, I’ve never seen anything like this! Also, I’m dreaming about moving in a similar location away from noise and stressful city life. I watched every video start to end without even noticing. My sincere congratulations for the amazing work behind all this 🌱

Reading your comment I felt like I was reading about myself lol. I also live in London with my husband and kids and we both work full-time and garden every chance we get ( well I garden and my husband makes things) I binge watch every gardening video I can find while my husband is learning about self builds mainly cob. I've been gardening here in London for more than 10 years but now we want to move so badly to get space to expand. We have been looking at land but planning permission o agriculture land is a beast in this country so we've been looking at one planet in wales. I do hope you find somewhere nice in the country to move to and I will check out your channel. All the best!

I love everything about your vids: the cinematography, the humour, the wisdom, the practical tips, and the simplicity. Thank you for sharing and I wish you every success with what you've trying to achieve both in the garden and online. I've been transforming my garden for a few years now and feel inspired to continue.
Boy have we been busy here on the farm since your last video! Amongst the normal farm work this time of year, we have made another 2 bay compost area, with a batch of compost, waiting ever so patiently, but oh so snuggly (how good are the warmer days? 🙌) for the batch of bacteria brew to be ready. I kept the other bay empty and planned on starting another batch but low and behold, this week I’ve become mumma to two teeny calves, so the next batch will have to wait so these two precious little girls can have a cosy little house to weather the wind and maybe the rain- omg nearly over the august winds already! Thank you David, once again 🙏🏼💗✌️
awesome vid, beautiful. thank you for resharing. i liked the original and ya could see there was no ill intent. keep doing the great work and putting out that positive vibe
It's easy to say how much information I gain through your videos. However, the complexity of the simplicity.. I can't find the words. The soothing delivery is unmatched. Thankful to have happened upon your garden.
You are speaking "my language". I live in the city. But behind my house I have my garden... my sanctuary. We don't know each other... but are definitely connected. You are actually... real.
Thankyou for remaking this. I haven't seen any flack you may have gotten on the last one but I suspect you did. It didn't sit entirely well with me last week but I let it go. The bits that made me uncomfortable are now gone so thankyou.
Wow 21 days to get that beautiful black plant food.. economical fast and effective great recipe . Thank you and your friend for sharing your knowledge. Love from bean 👏👏👏
love how you let your soul shine. You could tell your story a thousand times and each time will allow us to enjoy your creativity unfold. so happy to view these videos.
Foxlife in texas loves you structure and flow of the video, and your garden. I as well have picked up gardening during the covid-19 pandemic, I have 3 raised beds now in the middle of the suburbs, the energy I have received from putting hand to earth has been soup for my soul , too truely reap the fruits of one's labor, the core of life .. thanks
Your edits made the impact of the original message even stronger. I’ve used bokashi as a means of dealing with kitchen waste for over a year now, in a 5 litre bucket with an airtight lid - an anaerobic ferment using EM-infused grains. The bucket is opened whenever kitchen waste is available, and more grains are added. Once the bucket is full, the lid is screwed tight and the bucket is left for at least a month to brew. As you say, it’s powerful stuff after a month - but too strong to put directly on the garden. So I tip it into a thermophilic compost pile I always have going in the chook run, add a barrow load or two of soil needing revitalisation, any garden greens, weeds, shredded paper, hay or straw from the chicken coop, mound it all up into a “compost mountain”, add water and let the chooks (aka my soil workers) do their stuff: they destroy the mountain, I rebuild it, they destroy it again - a game we both enjoy for a few weeks. By the time they’ve finished, the bokashi has built outstanding compost that can go directly onto the garden beds where the worms have a field day. Bokashi is the one fermenting process that I feel all gardeners should be using.
@@dee24680 I’m vegetarian, so few bones, but I have composted the dog’s bones using bokashi. It’s slow, but it works to make them more “bacteria and worm friendly” They end up in the garden being buried by a thick layer of soil and there they disappear quite quickly
I’m curious as to the reason for incorporating bokashi into the compost pile. I think I’m missing something. When you pour your anaerobic bokashi onto the aerobic compost pile and you and the chooks keep aerating it won’t all the anaerobic biology die off leaving the aerobic microbes to do their thing.
As soon as I check my alerts and see your video I always grab a cuppa so I can watch it in peace. It was so lovely to hear you talk about you feeling in tune with the universes energy and how it was trying to get you there your entire life. I’ve always felt slightly out of kilter with modern society and the trappings of the stressful job only managing to detox in my own space, with the breeze in my face, listening to birds and watching the seasons play out. We are all so busy in life to stop and live in the moment. I always wanted to become more self sufficient and like you, with time on my hands in lockdown I decided it was the perfect opportunity to begin. Since then I too have have felt different, in tune with Mother Nature, like I am finally ‘home’ and I continue to try and lead a quiet, simpler way of life. 🧘🏻
