Knowing there's a fellow Gardener that loves the planet as much as the rest of us does is awesome we thank you so much
I love gardening but I also love meat. Got to have good beef. It makes you strong
This has to be -- by a country mile or six -- the best "sustainable living " you tube series available at present . Just so cool, so real and so connected to who we are as humans on this planet. God Bless you -- thanks !!!
Nice comment. Thanks so much 👍🙏🏻🎥🐝💚
I couldn't agree more. I live in England with a totally different climate but I couldn't be more inspired than I am by these videos. Thank you weedy gardener, your videos are better than anything I've seen on the mainstream box. Just beautiful
Emma you are so right wish it was easier for us to get land to do this in this country and wish we could grow tropical fruits sustainabley
Oh my - the last part bought tears to my eyes - the stars were so beautiful- the whole thing was beautiful- the way you filmed it and the simple joy of moving around your garden and eating the produce. It’s set up a yearning in me now - what a wonderful way to live.
Follow that yearning. It’ll put 20 years on your life probably 🦍
@@TheWeedyGarden thank you - I am going to take that as my sign to start working towards it.
Same here. You can really feel that good feeling at the end. Truly a beautiful moment. A life lived at just the right speed in the right place.
@@twitchlazy It's all about a simple decision, what's more important... quality? Self sufficiency is becoming more and more important.
ikr so amazing!
Rewatching Weedy for peace and clam. ❤
Hey 😝🫵🏻
Amazing how much progress you have made in less than two years.
It's crazy, right!
Yeah, amazing seeing what someone can accomplish when their not trapped in a 9-5
Black cockatoos❤
@@jacobspranger1267 so true 🎉
Quite relaxing episode.
Indeed
I'm with you, soothing even.
That little cabbage thing you cut off the bottom of the banana bunch is edible the Asians put in stir fries
Yes until the spidershot
It's because of the ambience music added as the background - like at a spa :)
This is giving me goosebumps. 10 years ago that was about the picture I painted about my future life as I thought I will stay in australia for the rest of my life. But now, 10 years later everything is different. Living the big citylife on the other side of the world; watching and listening to you is waking up my deep inner desires. They are crying. My inner demons of procrastination standing next to them - laughing hard and celebrating!
Thank's for this inspirational content. It's hard to watch.
But I love it. It makes me cry.
I love this. I love you I guess.
Namstelicious!
Peace.
I will look forward to a comment one day soon where you say, “I did it!”
It's 8 months since your comment, I hope you have followed the call of your soul!
So good to see such a great example of someone living off the land in times like these when many are dreaming of just that
yea this dude is basically living my dream
and to add... over the past few months I've noticed how much I DONT want to grocery shop.
So now I'm learning how to live off the land. "When the student is ready, the teacher appears"
I can't get over how beautiful your soil looks. So dark and fluffy!
Yes. I’m really lucky, but I have been building it up too
@@TheWeedyGarden when we do things the natural way all we get is rewards,God has created to earth to give and give and give, only man is selfish.
I love how you make your transitions between your cameras view so seemless, as a photographer myself I can see that you have a lot attention to details and you really care about your viewers.
That's amazing !
Yes Yes! Thankyou for noticing. It takes me approx 100 hours to edit an episode. 🤪 Most of them I start with about 5 to 7 hours of footage that I have to melt down to 15-20 minutes.
Oh wow, what a divine day, such a beautiful episode. The way you live in such connection is very moving, it really brings home the feeling of 'being nature' rather than just being 'in nature', the separation in the world today does such damage to humans and the rest of the living world. There is such a lot of respect and love in your films. Thank you for the inspiration and vibrancy you bring!
Love your comment. thankyou 💚🦍🙏🏻
I became a Patreon when I first discovered your work last year because the value of education and wonder, in just one video, is priceless. Imagine if Weedy’s teachings were available in schools. 😍 What’s that you say? A movie?! 🎬 Cannot wait! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us 🙏🌱❤️
What a superb mix of nature and technology and a very healthy diet.
I live very rural in South Africa and enjoy something very similar to this though your area is definitely greener and your soil much better.
Stay safe and thank you for taking us through your day.
Greetings from my animals and myself here in South Africa.
Just a massive wow, few seconds in and I've mentally moved in with you..This is the way life should be lived, so inspiring..(loo with a view) love it!!😄
Thank you!! Mr Weedy..❤🙏🏽👏🏽👍🏼🇬🇧
COULDN'T AGREE MORE!
Same ! 😊 ❤️ 🌻 😁
First youtube video I see that goes full circle from micro to macro and back to micro again.
Words can't describe how wholesome this cycle is mate ❤
Rain is there to remind gardeners there is housework to do!
The heart of banana makes really good ‘meatballs’ alternative too! You dice the inner soft part. Put some salt and squeeze the sticky juice out. And cooked as you would with mince meat, flour, salt and pepper and all. It’s really yummy
Thats what im about to comment,.From Philippines here.
Halloo kabayan😊
We use the heart of the banana similarly in south India too 👍
Interesting. Haven’t heard of this before. Thanks for sharing with us. I’ll try this out. ❤️
@@renellee7043 gotta make sure you know what types of banana too though, usually sweeter banana has a very bitter heart or flower, but the more starchy or less sweeter the banana the heart of flower is delicious to eat, we usually just made a salad with it here in Malaysia.
What a wonderful life. I am in the UK and moving to a bigger garden. I have been researching Permaculture and I found you. I have no need to capture water as it rains often. I can't wait to watch more videos from you.
People have no idea how valuable this advice is.
Thank you Weedy. This is my favorite episode yet, and I've been watching from the beginning.
My 5-year old song watched this with me today, and it was the first time we had bonded over a mutual love for how we can grow our own food so papa doesn't have to "work all day" a job he doesn't like just to buy food, haha. He now shares my excitement for composting, worm farms, and all the good stuff!!!
Love you man! 🙏
That is great! Was he already interested?
I would like to see children learn real life living😊
Hello Earthling, that is biodinamics and being well grounded for you. The Weedy Garden is by far no longer a Survival garden, but a Food forest. So good to see how you can harvest and enjoy your labour of love. Wish I was there
I aspire to have this kind of lifestyle. I’m so tired and exhausted dealing with society. I want this. I just want this😢
It was a perfect day... I set up a bath out the back next to the veggie garden, and used two cubes I had made out of plastic pipe covered with 'gladwrap' for another purpose, but used as two walls by the bath... put a plug in and gave my 4 yr old grandson the hose to start filling the tub, whilst I boiled the kettle 3 times, and brought bubble bath, toothbrush and paste for him to have an outside bath, hung his towel on an old miniature (sales rep) hills hoist set beside the bath, and in he got... He LOVED it!!! He kept telling me "I love my bath mimmi" (he calls me mimmi)... He was so happy...
🥰
What a beautiful "office" and what a magical day "at work". A lovely self-made life amongst many of Mother Nature's gifts to the universe. My heart would be full.
I really had a stressful days working at the hospital and your episode made me to relax thank you. More episode like that please (Day in a life).
Really captured our beautiful country. Very soothing and flowing thank you so very much ❤️❤️❤️ fellow Aussie 🙏
What a day, beyond real.
There is something so peaceful about the way you live and where you live. I want to live in a place to green and beautiful.
This is so beautiful. I want this so bad in life, and I want people around to see how wonderful it is for EVERYTHING. Break the control and finally be one with mother Gaia
You produce the most wonderful, amazing nature life videos!!! I am in awe! And the humility and gratitude in your voice, so inspiring!
The end of this episode brought emotions that I have wanted to express for a very long time. Thanks!
Thank you so much Jay 💜🫵🏻👍
I have a dream to live in my own farm with cows , chickens and vegetable garden. Due to job and busy life I have to stay in city. But I am calming myself by watching UA-cam videos of permaculture. I feel soo happy after watching your video. Thank you for your video it was made my day. You are an inspiration.
You my friend are an inspiration. Im sitting back drinking my tea on the deck watching this episode after being out since sunup eating mangos off the tree, snacking on rogue tomatoes, slashing back comfrey, sitting with the wallabys and bush turkeys to the sound of kookaburras and whip birds. Oh and the chook mob in tail.
Never forget how life should be. Love your work as always
You are a gift to humanity. Love your work.
Its been my dream to live like this since I was 10 years old. What better life is there but unity among the land.....I'm now 37....and not even close to getting there with 3 children a wife and tons of debt. Peace and love be with you always friend. Absolutely beautiful video.
Living with weedy garden is a Paradise 💜
Epic as always David, I truly love how your content is not rushed or scheduled. A lot of UA-camrs could do with following your ways with the “less is more” mind set. I urge folks watching to share David’s channel to help get the channels Subscriptions up. I can’t get enough and don’t want it to end .
Thanks for the plug there 🙏🏻
You are living in a place that in it self seems to be a kind of meditation. I wish for this in the next life.
The best life ever in the whole world. You are such a lucky person to have this heaven, work and live in it.
good night lovely henns
Lovely. This is near to the lifestyle I am hoping to to have created finally very soon, with the help of my Creator God. You taught me probably a dozen things I have been wanting to know, in just this one video. Thank you for taking us there. This is delightful, heartwarming. ....... Stay blessed.
Thanks for being apart of reason I fell in love with gardening.
"To plant a garden is to believe in tomorrow. Indeed, the peace that gardening gives makes us believe in the promises of tomorrow." Audrey Hepburn
When we watch your videos, we have the same feelings:)
Cheers Weedy

My pulse slowed down to a relaxing 60 beats per minute.
you've mastered the art of divine living
Only you could make an episode that looks pretty doing basic, primitive and everyday. Hope you get the connection you seek.
Once he moves to Northern Territory an turns into a Hunter Gatherer
These simple day in the life episodes are wonderful. If you made more like it, just documenting what you do in a day, that would be lovely. Thanks for this.
That's how it's supposed to be. No other words are needed.
You are an inspiration Weedy! Making the world a better place is what you are doing by sharing with us.
I always have tears of Joy watching your evolution and I’m grateful to have followed you from the start of this channel
I’m on a new land parcel and I have so many inspirational ideas from your channel
You’ve even inspired me to start my blog and my channel
Thank you for sharing
This video is the Genesis to Revelation of Gardening. In a world of fast pace technology, the relaxing sounds that coincide with the fauna are well-deserving. Awesome video !
This is as professionally done as if it was the BBC!! REAL. You are the best! Greetings from EU Slovenia 👍👍
Just beautiful
You are an absolute inspiration. Your channel is now my living notebook, that I will refer to when creating my own harmonious place of connection between myself, this Earth, and The Universe. Thank you! 🙏
Been tuning in for right about two years now. Such a pleasure to watch, your enthusiasm is so infectious! Very thankful you first decided to put your filming skills to work sharing this project - your not so little slice of heaven! Love this diary of your day.
-25F here dreaming of life like this video coming up when we're on the other side of the sun.. THANK YOU for bringing me there now for a brief 30min!!!!!!!
People forget that the construct we call TIME is derived from our cycles around the sun. I love how you remind us quite casually how much we are subjectively reacting to the systems that effect all of life around us. You do a bloody good job of grounding these into perspective where we can use these elements that have been largely hidden from us, into view to see with real eyes. love ya mate
Lovely comment Casey mate 💜👍
can't begin to tell you how much I enjoy your videos, THANK YOU for sharing! I hope you never go back to before The Weedy Garden but continue on this adventure and continue sharing, THANKS AGAIN!
If I can sell 100.000 tickets to my movie (coming later this year), then I will keep doing TWG. If not, then Weedy will need to get a real job 🦍🎬🎥🙏🏻🤞🏻
Wow just amazing this last shot and what a beautiful day. For me it‘s just a pleasure watching you in the weedy garden. Here in germany we don‘t have such favorable conditions for growing a fruit forest, but it just get‘s me every time I see your videos, this warm happy feeling. You really bring magic and such an ease as well. It feels almost like having such a paradise garden myself. So thank you :)
Even tho you said "I gotta get back to work" after your swim, I reckon you really mean "I am compelled to get back to nurturing, so that I may be nurtured in return, from my garden."
Same same 😂😂😂👍💚
Living a life of genuine values.
This was my first experience with this channel, I really enjoyed it, cheers!
This is sensational! A perfect balm for the soul. 🥰
That spiderweb shot… stunning
Wow, that was lovely. Thanks for all that you’ve done Mr Weedy - ‘inspirational’ doesn’t even begin to describe the effect your films have had on me. Have made the move from Melbourne to Brisbane now so your content is all the more climate-relevant. Thanks again!
Such a wonderful experience to watch and listen. Thanks again for an awesome time. Loved the time in the microscope and when you tucked the chickens in for the night. Much gratitude.
Wow wow wow that was absolutely bloody brilliant!! Thank you so much!
I just put molasses and rice straight into my Woolies cart.
I'm so excited to get this going.
I finally have a house with space to do these things ❤Thank you so much Weedy Gardener.
Much love from your neighbour in Brissy ❤xxx
The kookaburra’s in the beginning ❤❤❤ I miss Australia, I lived there for a year.
Thankyou so much David,
I truly enjoyed this episode!
Is it really two years I've been following your journey!!
Wow garden envy, you've accomplished so much in that time. I'm feeling this is the Universes way of calling me out to get more productive in my own garden!!
Thankyou so very much for sharing all your amazing wisdom and knowledge.
Looking forward to seeing more!
Keep Shining 🌟🌞🌟❤🐸🦋🦆🍀
My goodness what a treat to follow you throughout your day Weedy!
Really nice touch using a microscope. Always wanted to see the use of one in a gardening video
Watching your videos, I feel a little closer to the source energy of life. You remind me of what is true and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your beauty here.
Those moments the Universe just waits for you and you catch up are pretty cool.
Wow, the Weedy Garden is a slice of heaven. That bath under the stars, how magical. Thanks for another amazing episode, I love your channel. xx
Honey is so full of nutrients and honey bees are so important. Wow man you’re doing a complete permaculture paradise.
Loved seeing the whole day in action and someone that is truly living off his own land. Keep up the amazing content.
Thanks mate. Same to you. You are helping tons of people with your work. 💪🏻
Wonderful, inspiring for our new garden above you in the granite belt, moving in in 8 days then full on permaculture. Love your work Weedy
You are absolutely inspiring. The quietness alone is something that I absolutely love. Also the feeling where on a nice day and you have all the time in the world to go in the garden and be creative. That’s life…….
🙏🏼🤙🏼Much love and Aloha
Most of all…. ✊🏼 respect.
This channel is truly underrated.
Ah man in the first couple seconds of the video, the kookaburra brought back my childhood ❤️
When I watch your vids my heart breaks wide open and tears flow like a river, feels so big, do powerful..no envy, no wishing, just a pure feeling of love. I thank you never so much for this gift..this healing. Bright blessings for your day my beautiful friend
Thanx Jennifer 💙
Supper impressed I must say 👌😊 this is my dream life, to love away from the city and connect with Mather nature while sustaining myself with my own grown food. Well done 👍✅
It's all integrated and yet so simple. The human factor ties is all together. Weedy Beard enjoys the work and makes a life out of the process.
I seem to now have a strong inclination to buy a piece of land in Florida for this kind of year round tropical paradise.
What an absolutely delightful day I've just spent at your place!!! And I love the wood cutting trick you learnt from your Mum, and other bits and pieces of learning that came my way as you worked in your garden. Magical really
It is incredible! Thank you for sharing this phenomenal way of being. I honor and acknowledge you! I hope I get to visit you one day and film a video at your garden! So much love for you!
I imagine this is what the garden of Eden looked like. Thank you for your quiet, grateful voice, and for sharing your heaven on earth with us. Your photography is such a gift!
Goodness for the soul.
We are using your videos to teach the kids for homeschooling - they were so inspired they have created (with help) their own little thriving veggie patch. Wish I could post a photo to show how amazing it is! Keep up the good work inspiring people to reconnect with nature and the food they eat
u can post on the weedy garden appreciation society face book group 👍🙏🏻💪🏻
Amazing! 😍👌 What a beautiful and powerful subject to teach
Oh yes!! Great idea 💡 I'll do it now 😀
I'm amazed that you were able to produce this video, as we've had non-stop rain here in the Northern Rivers. Your garden is amazing. How much it's grown!
Yeah. Twas a bit wet and has been for weeks now
The only thing more beautiful than nature is being in harmony with nature. The only thing more beautiful than that is being in harmony with our Creator. Blessings.
I have noticed that you are very healthy because the food you eat is free from toxins and full of herbs and nutrients. Valuable chicken eggs are free from growth hormones. I think we probably don't want anything more in life than being close to a good environment.
Really amazing how you can transmit such a wonderful vibe through a digital channel. Just by looking at the fresh products I was able to taste them. Such a quality in every aspect of your videos. Tnx mate for sharing it with us!
That’s what you call living the dream!
I have no words to describe this, that videography and time lapse really blew my mind.
Greetings from Casper Wyoming USA. You've become my new favorite channel, I love watching your videos! And your giving me hope that our sand, sage, and cactus covered ground can be turned in to productive ground! Best wishes ❤
the editing, filmwork, and all that you’ve set up is nothing short of inspirational. i love the pumpkin arches! thank you for sharing :)
Look at you...livin' the life!!! Bravo!
Oh mate I've seen so much natural things in just one video that I've never seen in my 43 years of life. Have I not been a real loooser for missing out so much from my own planet earth !!!
oh wow, I was so drawn in to your day. So relaxing to watch and makes me appreciate my connection with the universe. I love how you fill your day and it seems so satisfying that I could do that if I was set up the way you are. Peace.
