I have looked through a huge UA-cam presentation on everything related to Terra preta, LAB, molasses, biochar and natural fertilization in general. This video and its creator are awesome. Such a good and simple explanation that anyone can understand. The calm and comprehensible speech of the author almost calms you down. I want to tell the author that I thank him from the bottom of my heart, for his great effort to spread his knowledge and practical demonstration, among all interested people of the world, Thank you, thank you, thank you🥰😍💚

Please don't ever stop Weedy. You bring so much pleasure to me and my family. The knowledge and beauty you share is unbeatable. May God bless you in many, many ways!!!

First time watcher. I love how you casually drop measurements. So many creators don't realize that on this side of the camera, the feels-like size is lost. Great video.
Hey Weedy, any chance you could share with us where you purchased your containers? I can’t find anything similar on Amazon and would appreciate the smallest clue as I have a four year keen as beans to try this!
So much work to put this together, i am on the second week, just added the milk to the rice water, buckets, molasses at the ready, great video easily understood the way you put information across to your viewers thank you Weedy, your videos are brilliant.
In the midst of trying my own bacteria factory, thanks to you, Weedy. Thank you for such entertaining and educational videos. I know they’re likely a ton of work to put together and I do APPRECIATE all of your hard work, and I ADORE your creativity. True talent - 100% blessed. You are an artist and it shows in all you do.
I have the rice water, raw milk, & blackstrap. I'm ready to mix into the new fermenting bucket. Thank you for telling me to just put the white bucket in a black trash bag. Such a simple answer. I searched & searched for a black fermenting bucket and couldn't find one. Your videos are THE BEST. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Bacteria here I come... 🙋🏼♀️🤣
SO. I just have to "vent" a little and let people know what I went through. I bought a whitish/clear (wine) fermenting bucket. The lid to the bucket I bought wouldn't even snap on tight and I had to use duck tape to keep it air tight. DON'T BUY THIS. Its worth the search to find a black fermenting bucket and try to find a screw (gamma) seal lid. Hopefully this will help others not go through what I went through. Good luck composters!!!!
@kelley did u ever find a black bucket??? I’m in FL, have looked Everywhere & black cannot find Anything to work!! I barely have room in fridge for much Anything to fit! Sure as heck no room for huge black trash bag!!! BUMMED OUT cause idk WHERE TO TURN NOW!!!

The buckets were a bit more than I wanted to spend BUT they're worth it & I just had to get them. I got the buckets with the spigots. Happy gardening! I just LOVE Weedy Garden.
After seeing this I went to a workshop about Korean Natural Farming. In particular Indigenous Micro Organisms. Please do a series about IMO 1, 2, 3 & 4. Thanks.
Brit living in the USA here, just gotta say that you are living my dream life. 😊Watching your videos is like being back at school, except this time I'm enjoying the lessons. Now that autumn is in full swing I'm about to try my hand at vermicomposting to use the fallen leaves.
Thank you sir, it turns out that out of the millions of people in this world, there are still those who want to share secrets without any interest in money. Thank you for the knowledge that has been given very clearly.
For those in Australia looking for a black bucket - I’ve used a Bunnings 20L bucket and lid (dark green but should work the same - it’s solid colour and as good as black). Bought a $6 worm farm tap (also Bunnings), because it comes with a rubber washer and screw on back; drilled a hole using a hole saw (didn’t have one, so bought their cheap $20 set, but maybe you can buy a singular one to fit the tap if you don’t have one already) then bought some brewers pressure valves off eBay. Went together perfectly 😊
The whole video was great, but I especially loved your creative story book like beginning. You are such a lovely story teller/teacher. And the cinematography is always artsy. Love, love, love.
You can add a tbs or so of Lab to a glass of water for gut health. also you can make cheese from the curd. Love the little poem in the storage chapter! From what ive read, there are 3 layers in the rice water and the middle layer is the one we want. Cheers Weedy
You are a true inspiration for all young men out there. Im so happy i was raised by my grandparents who taught me all this and awoke my interest in these topics. Sadly many people dont share this information so it gets lost over time. Keep your great character. Hope my future me can enjoy life like you do🙏
Hey Weedy, i got a tip. If you put so much sugar in your start solution (ricewater+milk) till its like syrup, all bacteria will go into stasis. That is much better for storing, otherwise the strong bakteria will eat the weak, even in your fridge. Stasis for more diversity or even a hand of good compost or earth from the woods added in the beginning. How are your mushrooms growing? Remember to use your garden giants at your walkways in the foodforest too. Greetings
Great Video! Another thing people should take into consideration when using city water is the chlorine in it kills bacteria. So if your trying to grow colonies use either rain water or get a chlorine filter.
if you just let water sit in a vessel the chlorine will dissipate to the air in a few days, depends on amount , surface area to volume ratio tray quicker than columnar vessel etc.
@@sirsanti8408 Yeah but, i would be more worried about initial contact even if it does evaporate relatively quickly its something to consider that's all.
The Mother Lacto-Brew mixed with equal part non-chlorinated water is excellent for treating compacted soil. Just needs time. Spray over the area with it once or twice per month. Depending upon how badly compacted, 3 months to a year (18 months at most for very severely compacted area that is rock/concrete hard) and the soil isn't compacted anymore. Like magic! Easy, effortless -- just needs time.
