Pavlin, I always enjoy your videos and learn from them. You have helped me to realize that the items you need to travel are not nearly as many as people would have me believe.
    Thank you…

Nice mods! Unnecessary modifications just add additional weight on the bike so the minimum mods you had done works for you and they seem to be good ideas for the rest of us. Thank you for sharing!

As you said - most of the things are not necessary. What you need while travelling are time and an open mind. You got both. And a good bike. All the best, Günter from Nürnberg/Germany

Thanks yet again Pavlin for a down to earth video of what a motorcycle traveller "really" needs😉
As a replacement for the protectors that fell off helicopter tape is fantastic, clear, thin, sheet that will never move discolour or fall off once in place(it's used for the leading edge of helicopter blades to protect them, hencemthe name and can be bought quite cheaply off Ebay😊

I owned a GSA that I wasted too much money on "need to have" accessories. Moved on to a GS and spent no extra money on add-ons. Now I'm about to downscale again to a Tenere and I'm happy to hear your opinion that the stock Tenere is almost as good as it can get. This time tt will be me, a backpack, the extra headlight protection and perhaps an extra phone as a GPS at some point. Thanks for the video, keep up the good work!

these side rubbers pads are actually pretty useful for standing position, you got most likely badly glued because mine stick solid second year.

Very good much enjoyed. Beautiful place. Have those Oxford heated grips. Nothing like therapy for sore hands on a long day. The rest very similar. Only need so much. It's about the ride. RTW.

I like the mods. They are simple and enough to do the job. Also noticed the brake and clutch levers are shortened. Is it Because of the handguards lenght or there is another reason? Keep going!

100% agree. Heated grips are brilliant. They take the chill off you on cold mornings. 🥶 > 🥵

    Less is more.
Eventually I think we all learn.
Especially as I get older, the weight really matters.
Where did you attach the metal tool box that was on the 660? That was a good piece of work.
And did the toolkit need much new added?
    Good one
    Enjoying the trip
    Happy travels

@@motorcycleadventures a tip.. fit the spare cable.. taped to the cable fitted on the bike.. then it's a simple process of switching the ends into their fittings.. no need to pull you bike apart in the outbacks.. also.. you rear mudguard.. change it for a plastic one easy to custom make from 20ltr oil containers.. heat them in an oven & they mould easy to any shape you want.. better moulded over a wood shaped block.. it's amazingly good for skid plates to.. unlike aluminium ones.. it's a high impact residence material.. that slides over rocks really really well.. aluminium grabs rock midway & stop bikes sliding over.. mould a cover for you water pump.. from the bottom of a drum it's thicker.. heat guns work well too for moulding in place but preheat in an oven first..
Another mod you might consider are the coolant pipes in & out of the pump.. can squash in a fall & impossible to fix in the field.. replace with silicon rubber ones, aftermarket.. cheers from NZ
